Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing my December 2021 photo diary. At this point I’ve made it quite a tradition as if you couldn’t tell I’m not as active on my blog in December’s due to me attempting Vlogmas on my Youtube channel which is where I vlog everyday until Christmas and I film, edit and upload a video every single day. It takes up quite a bit of my time and I can only focus on that so my blog and Instagram don’t get as much love during that time. I can say I successful accomplished another year where I managed to finish it so at least one thing good came out of it. So since I didn’t write too many blog posts I did manage to take photos everyday for the thumbnails of those videos and then I share them here and give you a summary of what December looked like for me. It’s become quite a fun tradition and now we can look back at my favorite moments from the month. Of course you can watch it here but I’m talking you through the photo version. So keep reading to see what my December 2021 photo diary looked like!
December 2021 Photo Diary
As I said, I was busy doing Vlogmas. It was the 6th year in a row where I attempted this and it’s become my favorite Christmas tradition. I love filming my month and showing you all the festive fun I get up to and my daily life. I was in front of the camera every day and spent the evenings on my laptop editing the footage I got during the day. It was a fun challenge and my second year in a row doing it successfully. I’m not sure if I will do a daily Vlogmas next year but I will never stop filming parts of December. Who knows but it was so fun to do and you can watch every video on my channel.
Here are my Christmas tress this year. I had three and normally I would do individual blog post showing you each but again was too busy and too late now so here is a look at them and each one at night too all glowy and pretty. I actually have 4 Christmas trees but one is in the kitchen and really small but still there. I shared what my tree looks like the past few years and nothing has changed but the location. I shared the tree theme here and here in the past. Then my bedroom Christmas tree was a pink and white ballet theme with fun ornaments on it. I love this tree and it looks so pretty. I also styled my bookshelves with books and bags plus had a mini Christmas village on top. It was so fun to style and I will miss having it up. Last Christmas tree is actually in my bathroom. It was meant to go in the kitchen but the tree was too tall so it went in my vanity and it had colored lights on it and the only tree with colored lights in the whole apartment. I used the leftover ornaments from the other trees and did a silver and white snowflake ornament theme.
Now this was supposed to be a blog post but never got around to it. I just wanted to share what my new apartment looked like during the holidays. I had some cute pajamas I wore and a Christmas bow which completed the outfit. It was a super fun photoshoot and love all the red and gold.
Another Christmas tree photoshoot blog post I never got around to sharing. I really missed out I guess after looking back at these photos. I should be better with my time management next December as these would have been great. I love the outfit I wore and had a whole photoshoot with the tree which I loved all the pictures.
I actually read quite a bit and could add it in during December but I was making content with it so that is why. I am going to add more book content in 2022 and this was just a start. I read so many good books and it was a nice and cozy evening.
My iPad was my friend during December as it had my whole schedule and was looking to it to see what I needed to do and post. I even did a whole video about how I use my iPad in a day here. I use it as a digital planner, an ereader, watching videos and overall use it for everything in between. So I had a lot of pictures with my iPad this month.
I took you Christmas shopping with me and I went grocery shopping a few times. I even meal planned and shared with you a food haul with what I make and eat. It was quite fun and loved going out and sharing with you my daily life including this and making a boring activity more enjoyable.
Here is another blog post that should have been. I was going to share a holiday clothing haul from Shein but I was too late and so here are the clothes and a winter OOTD I wore. I have quite a few mirror pics from the month or what I wore. I love the tinsel hanging on the mirror though.
Now we are on to the beauty posts I did. I shared my entire makeup collection here if you want to watch a long video of showing you all the makeup I own. That was really fun to show and which products I am loving and love for certain seasons. I then showed you my Christmas manicure this year which was green and red alternating on each finger. Last is my makeup I wore on Christmas eve to a Christmas party. I love how it turned out with the glittery eye and red lip plus I wore lashes and liquid liner to be very extra. It was so good and had to take a few selfies with it.
Then we have another set of photos. I took a few selfies that I needed for my thumbnails and just wanted to share that with you. I love wearing red during the holidays and it just shows in my pictures. I love my tree and since it isn’t up all year I just take advantage and pose with it as much as I can.
I had to share these set of photos with you. I treated this shoot like a a photo booth and all the pictures turned out so fun. I moved the Christmas trees from the kitchen and bathroom into my bedroom just for the pictures and had three trees in here at once. I love taking photos with my teddy bear and it was his third birthday since I got him so I always do one with him. I got some Christmas bedding and it is so pretty plus it looks great all together. I think I did great decorating my bedroom. Also these were my go to pajamas this year and it was so comfy and I have the red versions as well.
One last photo shoot for December and it was so cute. I was inspired by the Nutcracker and loved the theme and it matched my tree. I had just discovered a youtuber who was professional ballerina and she was doing the sugarplum in the Nutcracker and I loved watching her. It inspired that and loved how these photos turned out. I do love twirling in a tulle skirt and it made me miss my dancer days. I shared more on my Instagram if you want to see the full look.
My one favorite day of the month besides Christmas of course was going out and seeing the Christmas lights at my local Candy Cane Lane in my hometown. I went with a childhood friend and it was the best getting to hang out with her, pretend to rate the houses like we knew what we were doing and just seeing the magical lights. I had the best evening and it continued on by going out to dinner at a fancy restaurant and lastly we went on a late night Target run. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this and of course I documented the whole thing here.
I did something for Christmas Eve this year. Since moving back to my hometown and getting back in touch with my childhood family friend I was kindly invited to their house and they had a Christmas party. My dad went and we got to dress up but quickly learnt to wear pajamas and good thing I brought some with me. I loved my formal outfit and then my Christmas pajamas. We ate food, did a bit of singing and dancing and got to do a gift exchange. I participated in my first White Elephant and it was so fun and I got to play twice as my dad put in a gift as well. I share the gifts in my last blog post here. At least I got that post up. Here is the Christmas Eve vlog to see what I’m talking about.
Now here is Christmas day! We spent it at my apartment and had a formal photoshoot with my dad and I. I wore another outfit as you can see above so I got to wear a lot of holiday outfits throughout the month. I opened my gifts and got to see my dad open his gift and he had the best reaction. I loved all the gifts we got each other but I enjoyed being with him and we ate Christmas dinner. It was the best and I really have been enjoying my Christmas so far these past few years here in the US.
That was my December 2021 photo diary! I love sharing with you the snapshots I took throughout the month and show you what was up. I love capturing moments and they just make such fun memories. I love how bright and colorful pictures are this time of year too and love how all of them look together. I’m sad I didn’t upload many Instagram photos as I had a pretty theme going on. I love getting to share these photos with you and a summary of my month. Let me know what your favorite moment was this month. Thanks so much for reading about my December 2021 photo diary! xo
