Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing how I’m trying a new fall fashion style. I went out of my comfort zone with this outfit and had to show you. I dress very girly but during fall I seem to explore and gravitate towards other aesthetics. This is one of them. I see it everywhere on Instagram and Pinterest and decided to recreate the outfit on myself. I like how it turned out so it inspired this blog post. Keep reading to find out more about me trying a new fall fashion style and the outfit details!
Trying a New Fall Fashion Style
As I said this is not my usual style but I like it. I love the shacket trend and you can see another way I wore a shacket here. This one is darker and actually belongs to my dad. I just like borrowing it for the shoot. Next is a cropped cami. These are my new favorites from Target and they are only $3! I love the fit of them and I’m wearing a XXL as I wanted a little more longer on me. It hits my waist perfectly especially with these new jeans. Speaking of, I found my perfect skinny jean. I recently talked about my love for the mom/boyfriend style jean here but as for the skinny jean style this pair is amazing. I love the distressing and since it is a jegging it is comfy and made for my curves. I’m wearing a size 17 which is weird as I’m in between a size 14 and 16 right now but the reviews said they were fitting tight so I just went with a size 17 on a whim and it worked out great for me. I love them and you will see me rotate between two pairs of jeans.
Another item that isn’t quite my style but changed my mind was the fedora hat. I wasn’t much of a hat person before but now I am. I like how this went with the look and it goes perfectly with the black suede ankle boots. I am in love and match that with the quilted crossbody bag and you have the perfect all black accessory look.
