Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing about my Cruella Deville Halloween costume & makeup! If you’ve been here long than you know that I share my costume with you and have done so ever since 2015 I believe. As you can tell this year I am Cruella. I was Scooby Doo last year and I kind of carried the dog theme over this year. I had no clue what I wanted to do and I knew this was a popular costume so I went with the trend this year. I don’t regret that it was a common costume as I got to be something different than I ever been. I love how it turned out and couldn’t wait to show you. So keep reading to find out more about the details to my Cruella Deville Halloween costume & makeup!

Costume Details
My “costume” was pretty affordable this year. I bought almost all of it off Shein and ordered it the second week of October but it all came in time. I started with a basic little black dress as the base. It’s a cute dress and not only a costume but it can be used whenever I need a black dress. It’s pretty cute and comfy too. I then wore these black lace tights. I didn’t have to but I loved the look with the costume. You can forget the long satin gloves that could be used for any other costume in the future. Now onto the wig. I never wore a wig with my costume but this was fun. You can’t forget her iconic hair and I was not about to dye my own so when I saw this on Shein I knew it would finish the look. It was pretty affordable and looked pretty good for the price. I was only going to use it as a prop so don’t need a proper one. I then added this hat with a lace veil to really sell the look. Of course you had to add something Dalmatian and I couldn’t find a fur coat so I went with a feather boa instead and it’s from Walmart and was under $5. It does shed a bit but what do you expect for the price so I have feathers all around my apartment now. It’s really fun picking them all up. *eye roll* I hope you hear the sarcasm in that statement. It’s fine but I am definitely putting it away. Lastly I just wore some suede heeled ankle booties as I couldn’t find any other footwear to match this look.
Makeup Details
I actually like how I did my makeup. I started with my everyday makeup base. I found a proper routine now and love how my makeup has been looking. I think I discovered some good products and they have become favorites. When it came to the eyes I had a vision of doing this dramatic white winged liner with black polka dots as the spots but the eyeliner i used was really chalky and not pigmented whatsoever. That’s what I get for buying a $2 eyeliner from Shein. I do not recommend it almost ruined my eye look but I didn’t give up. I used a white eyeshadow and built it up to get a semi- decent base to lay the black polka dots on. I used a black liquid liner for this and did messy spots in random places. In the end I like how it turned out and if I could do it over I would go with my original plan and be more glam with it. It is unique though and for my first time playing with a look like this. Last was the iconic red lip and it matched the look so well.
