Happy Monday! Today I’m so excited to share my book haul + TBR list! If you read this blog post here, I explained how I fell in love with reading again. Since then I developed quite an addiction to buy physical books and building my at home library. So I bought quite a bit of books. 25 to be exact. I’m happy to show you what I got in the past couple of months. Keep reading for more details about my book haul + TBR list I can’t wait to read!
My Book Haul + TBR List
I stumbled upon Booktok and I am grateful I discovered it but I fell down a rabbit hole and now I’m here. The beginning of the year I landed on makeup Tiktok and bought so many products everyone recomended. Gladly that died down but was replace with books. A lot of these are quite popular on Booktok and all of hem sound like books I would love to read so on to my TBR list they went. So I’m just going to share short snippets of my thoughts and why I’m looking forward to reading them.
Off Campus Series
This series seems so popular. I read the first one over the summer and I loved it. That inspired me to buy the physical copy and that lead me to buying the whole series in paperback as well. I can’t wait to follow all the characters and see where the story goes. I do love a good romance and they have tropes I am into reading. I also didn’t know the fifth one just came out when I bought the series. When I’m done with all of these then I’ll share my thoughts with you.

Briar U Series
Of course I had to purchase the next books in the next series and I’m excited to read this too. I heard good things about these ones. I’m looking forward to the different tropes each book has. I’m starting to like enemies to lovers more. At first I wasn’t a fan but now I’m all about it and I’m like give it to me. I don’t know which one will be my favorite but I know some people are partial to ones. I do love a good sports romance and these seem like a fun universe. I can’t wait to finish these too and now I’m so happy to have so many books to add to my collection.
| The Chase // The Risk // The Play // The Dare |
The last series I bought is a reread. I recently reread the first book and filmed a reading vlog here about my thoughts 7 years later. I have the collectors edition but felt bad and needed the whole collection so I got all three. So now I have two of the first book one which is special and the other is the regular edition. I got them in hardbacks as I again felt bad that the collectors edition was hardback. I got them used though and they were all under $5 which was a good deal. I’m in love with these series and it was a highly rated one. I highly recommend this series and it’s a cute and quick read.

Under The Influence, By Hilary Rose Bodiford
Then we have books that I was influenced to read by influencers. Also not book influencers but fashion ones. The first is by a blogger I’ve been following for years and she wrote her own book. I was so excited to support her and bought it as soon as it came out. Since she is an influencer her story involves that and it seemed so intriguing. Plus it is a mystery and I’ve been getting really into those. I have been picking more of these up and it gets me guessing which I love. This cover is so pretty and I really can’t wait to read this and see where the story goes.
It Ends With Us, Colleen Hoover
Next is a Colleen Hoover book and I’m surprised I haven’t read this one yet. I think out of all her books I haven’t read 3 or 4 of them. This one is all over my Booktok and o heard so many great things about it. I can’t wait to dive in and see what’s all the hype about it. I am going into it blind and haven’t heard any spoliers but I kind of know what’s going on. I hear it’s good to do that.
Verity is a book I’ve already read but I loved it so much that I had to buy a physical copy of it. The storyline is amazing and the plot twists in this just shocked me to my core. I didn’t expect that. Plus it’s a thriller and it’s not my usual genre I read but after a blogger recommendation to read it I decided why not and it did not disappoint. I highly recommend reading this one yourself.
The Song of Achilles, by Madeline Miller
I bought this book after seeing it being rved about so much online. I didn’t think I would like it but I was influenced and here we are. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and read something different. I studied Greek Mythology so much and was always intrigued but it so this would interest me. I have it quite low on my TBR list but I got it to really force me to read it. I know once I start it I will love it and it does seem interesting.
Daisy Jones & The Six, by Taylor Jenkins Reid
I do love a good musician story and am a sucker for that. It’s another book being raved about and I heard it has a cool format. I read a book in that format and sort of like this over the summer so I’m looking forward to reading this. I also hear this author has so many other great books and have those on my reading list as well. I can’t wait to pick this up and read now and just dive into this world.
The Enemy Trap, by Maren Moore
Next book we have one that I actually just read over the weekend. Out of this whole book haul this was the first book I read and finished. I have no idea why I decided to read this first but I do not regret it. This had everything I look for when reading a romance book. It crossed all the boxes and got me so engrossed. I finished it in a few hours and my dad and cousin couldn’t believe I could finish it that quickly. It’s a quick read and so cute. If you’re into enemies to lovers than this is for you and the spice is great.
Red, White & Royal Blue, by Casey McQuiston
When I last went book shopping in April for my birthday, I saw this and it caught my eye. I took a picture of it to help me remember to buy it later on and here it is. I heard so many great things about this story and it has a fun trope. I love royal stories and it has that as well. I’m thinking it will be another quick and fun read too so I’m looking to read this next.
Now we have a book that is so talked about I had to pick it up. I was convinced and I’m hoping I like it. The storyline looks interesting and it sounds like a story I would read when I was a teen but now this is a grown up version. I also heard this is a good starting point if you are getting into more spicy content. I hope I like it. I’m unsure some times but I heard it is amazing. I am looking forward to seeing if it is worth the hype with all the spice scenes.
It Happened One Summer, by Tessa Bailey
Now we move on to really popular Booktok books and first we have this one. I love the summary of this and I am starting to like grumpy/sunshine trope where one is a sour puss and the other is happy and bright all the time. I don’t mind who is who as long as it invilves it. This one is the guy is grump and the girl is so happy which I tend to read a lot of. I heard it’s based off a show and explores that a bit. I wish it was summer still to read this but I will get around to it.
To Love Jason Thorn, by Ella Maise
Next is another enemies to lovers. See I told you I was embracing this trope and bought quite a few books with this. I guess I changed quite a lot to actually like it. I bought two books from this author which you will see later in this list. I love this cover and it intrigued me to buy it even though you aren’t suppose to judge a book by it’s cover. The story got my attention anyways and I’m looking forward to reading it.
The Love Hypothesis, by Ali Hazelwood
This book was the most popular book from this whole haul I believe. I heard so many good things about this and the story really intrigued me. It’s another grumpy sunshine trope and one where he only is nice to her which I love as well. I heard it is based on a fanfiction and love when that happens. I really want to read this and film my reaction as everyone has the best reaction when reading this. I’ll let you know my thoughts when I read it.
The Spanish Love Deception, by Elena Armas
The second most hyped book online and I heard this was too good. Yet again, enemies to lovers and it’s an office romance. I haven’t read many of those but it intrigues me. I heard the boy main character gives book boyfriend vibes and yes I’m someone who falls in love with fictional characters and he is one of them. I love the basis of this story and looking forward to falling in love with the characters and getting to know this book. I also want to know if it really is worth the hype and why everyone loves it so much,
Marriage For One, by Ella Maise
Lastly we have some book accessories. When will I not buy accessories to something? Even my books have accessories. I’m that obsessed. So I got some sticky tabs to annotate the books as I’m not a fan of highlighting. I think this is a great compromise. Then we have some pens. I realized I do not own many pens after not writing on paper for a while. When you go digital with an iPad and Apple Pencil you don’t really need it but I missed physically writing so now that I have physical books I thought to keep a reading journal to keep my thoughts in. I adore this hot pink notebook and couldn’t resist. Of course I cannot forget buying myself a bookmark. It’s like I had to and a requirement for the amount of books I bought. This one seems perfect for me and matches my aesthetic perfectly. The last thing I bought is this tote bag with a book store on it and I thought it would be great if I go in person book shopping I could take this.

Here is a vlog of me unboxing the books and more about it.
That was my book haul + TBR list! I know a lot of books. I have such a long TBR list and look forward to having time to read all these. I tend to read a book a day or maybe two days so I know I will slowly get through this. If you want to see a round up about these then let me know. Also if you’ve read a good book recently with books like this then let me know too. It’s not like I need any more books to add to my library. I hope you enjoyed this book post and got to see what I bought recently that isn’t makeup or clothes. Thanks so much for reading about my book haul + TBR list! xo
