It was quite the process but I am so happy I did it and I’m almost all settled in. I have a few more things to move but for now I get to share the news. Keep reading to find out more details about how I moved to my own new apartment!
I Moved To My Own New Apartment
A lot of things are different now. I moved to LA from Manila three years ago that I explained in this blog post here and then a year later I moved to the downstairs house that I talked about here. I loved living in West Hollywood and miss it so much. I got so used to it and called it home for 3 years. After traveling and being away from home I realized I didn’t want to go back to my current place. So I made the decision to move but where? I ended up finding a place in the town I grew up in. So I moved to Oxnard where I spent 14 years of my life and now I’m back. Everything makes me nostalgic and there are so many memories. I’m quite happy and I’m still an hour from LA anyways so its not like I moved far.
Another exciting thing about this place is I have no roommates. I have the whole thing by myself and I’m in an apartment. In West Hollywood I was living with 3 other people and we shared a kitchen and a bathroom. It was more of a house and we each got a room. I had my own bedroom which I liked but I had to share everything. It was good for a while but I grew out of it. That meant I had to move away from LA but having my own place is wonderful. My dad is still living with me during the pandemic but I’m fine with him. I’m so used to having him around so other than that I have a whole one bedroom apartment.
It’s quite spacious and I’m so excited to decorate it. I’ve already pulled out the fall/Halloween decor but besides the holiday decor I am looking forward to decorating and furnishing it. You will definitely be seeing more home content from me and how I’m going to style my own space.
Here is the outfit I wore when I moved in. It was very comfy and still cute. I took these when I moved in and had to take a moment to snap pictures of my own kitchen. The weather is so nice here and I can wear leggings and a tank top which is the perfect moving look. I’ve linked my top here, leggings here, bow here and lastly my slippers here.
That was everything about how I moved to my own new apartment! I can’t wait for this new chapter in my life and had to share it with you. I’m looking forward to decorating and showing you DIYs and how I’m furnishing the apartment. It was such a fun chaotic decision but now that I’m here I couldn’t be happier. I’m sat at my desk in my new room typing up this post and feeling so happy with my new surroundings. It will be a while to get used to but I’m sure I’ll fit right in. So here is to my new apartment! Thanks so much for reading about how I moved to my own new apartment! xo
