Happy Sunday! Today I’m sharing the swimsuits I wore on repeat this summer! This is the first summer I spent most of it by the pool. I actually got to utilize the swimsuits that were at the bottom of my closet. Some are new I just bought, some are old favorites and others are just ones I never used before until now. I was never that confident but this summer spending most of it by the water I grew to love wearing my swimwear. So keep reading to see the swimsuits I wore on repeat this summer!
Swimsuits I Wore On Repeat This Summer
This first one was from Walmart and it is one that I wore quite a lot. It is so comfy and covers everything. I’m wearing an XL and it was under $20. It has removable straps so you can go strapless if you want to tan. I’m not sure what this material is but I love it and it’s super stretchy and molds to your body. It’s a super cute purple and love the little ruffle detail it has. Overall a really nice swimsuit and such a good fun.
This next swimsuit is another purple one. I have been really into purple recently and this was just too cute to pass up. I got it off of Shein Curve and it is the perfect swimsuit. It was also under $20 and I’m wearing a 2X. It fits perfectly and covers my bum so I’m not too self conscious about it. I love the ruffle detailing all over the stomach to hid that area and the shoulders are fun too. It’s not really ideal to tan in or lay by the pool but for swimming I found it great. I’m a big fan of this swimsuit and if you need a swimsuit than I highly recommend this one and would buy it again or in a different color.
As you can see I wore this swimsuit quite a lot and I hate to say it but out of all the ones in this blog post it is my favorite. I wore it so much that it made me realize how confident I was to wear it and flaunt my curves. Plus it is so cute as a bodysuit so i wore it as an outfit when I headed out too.
This is a very old swimsuit that I still had in the back of my drawer. When I was cleaning it out I found it and decided to take it with me. It’s supposed to be a hot pink but when wet it becomes red. It has this detailing on the front that flatters the body and can be tied tight around the neck. I last wore this swimsuit here. I mean I wore it under clothes but I think this was the last time I put it on. It still fits though so that’s great. I know it is the first swimsuit I bought from Forever 21 and it is a 2X. As for the price I’m not sure how much it is but it was pretty affordable.
This used to be my favorite swimsuit. It still ranks high but it was replaced. I remember buying this for my beach vacation in 2017 and it was the most expensive swimsuit I ever bought but it was worth it. I think it was custom and by a indie small business back in Manila. I wore it so much and it was featured on the blog a couple of times like here, here and here. The original time I wore this swimsuit was here if you want to see what it fully looks like without the skirt. As you can see I loved this swimsuit and still good to swim in and not just pose in I promise. I’ll always go back to this swimsuit and wear it on repeat.
This next swimsuit was actually brand new and still had the tags on. I remember buying it so long ago for a pool trip but never got around to wearing it. I don’t know why as it is so cute. I love the sequin ice cream on the boobs and it is the cutest girliest swimsuit. It reminds me of a kid and I don’t mind that. I paired it with a hot pink skirt as a cover up as it is a bit cheeky unlike the others. This really rides up and it isn’t the mot comfortable as there is no padding but for a couple of photos it isn’t too bad. I’m not sure I would swim in it but I do love the look of it. You have to have at least one impractical swimsuit that is better in looks than functionality. I picked it up at Forever 21 years ago and featured it in a blog post here. I linked a similar one here.
This swimsuit was from this blog post here. After I shot this campaign I was going to change and wear another swimsuit I brought with me but decided against it to try it out. I’m not one to do two pieces. I didn’t think I was confident to do so. However I did it anyways and I felt pretty good in it. It isn’t quite a bikini so it covered most of me. The top has a key hole in the upper belly and then the bottoms were full coverage and high waisted so the only skin showing was through the key hole in the middle. It’s easy to swim in and doesn’t slip down which I was worried about. This is again from Shein Curve and was under $15. I’m wearing a 2X and fits nicely and true to size. I love the floral print and the different colors too so if you’re needing a family friendly two piece than this is it!
The last swimsuit I’ve been wearing is another from Shein Curve. I bought quite a few before my summer vacation to try out and I love all the ones I bought. This is the only one I haven’t swam in before as I used it as aart of an outfit but I’ll have to let you know my thoughts once I do. This has a separate blog post coming soon so stay tuned for that. I was being very daring when buying these two piece swimsuits but I love how they turned out and again it is high waisted and full bottoms so not cheeky whatsoever. I love the peplum on the hem and find it so dainty and girly. I’m wearing a 2X again and it was under $15 for this as well. It is very supportive and has padding that you can remove if you wish. I can’t really review the support wise for anything bigger than mine but it holds me in which is good. I love this and for a cute swimsuit to pose in highly recommend.
Those were the swimsuits I wore on repeat this summer! I really enjoyed sharing with you all the swimsuits I used during the summer. I’m so hay with my confidence and glad I got to live my hot girl summer. It was really fun and lounging and swimming in the pool was just what I needed. My advice if anyone is reading this and wants to know how to do it. Just do it. Girl go put on that swimsuit and live your best life! I did and don’t regret it. I didn’t care about the staring at all. I lived my best summer life and so should you. I linked the swimsuits I wore and similar options to the old ones I wore. Let me know if you need any info or sizing in the comments. Thanks so much for reading about the swimsuits I wore on repeat this summer! xo
