Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing 3 ways to style a white skirt for spring! I just bought this white skirt and saw so many opportunities to wear it with pieces I already own so I got excited to style it up for the blog. It’s also warming up in LA and I can get out of my leggings by wearing shorts and skirts again. I’m naturally a person who gets cold easily and after living in a warm climate for so long I’m still not used to when LA goes down in temperature. I will be living here for almost 3 years and I still can’t wear anything short when it is a little cold. The other day when I went out and wasn’t cold I knew I could finally start styling some spring looks with the things I bought from this wish list here.ย So keep reading to see the details of the 3 ways to style a white skirt for spring!
3 Ways To Style a White Skirt For Spring
This white tiered ruffle skirt from Aerie has been making rounds around so many of my favorite blogs and Instagram pages. I filmed an unboxing and first impression of the skirt in my first IGTV here. I am such a big fan of white skirts and as soon as I saw this I knew I would need it. It’s such a spring and summer wardrobe essential for me and I get so much use out of them. It is a bit of a splurge for me but with the amount of wear I can get from it and it not being see through is great. The skirt came out to be $50 which for the quality I can tell is worth it. I’ve heard it is a dupe for the Love Shack Fancy one and I love that brand but the prices are a bit steep for me and the only LSF I own is from their Target collab last summer. So I can’t compare the two but I heard great things that this Aerie is very similar if not an exact a dupe for it.
I am wearing an XXL in this which I sized up for length as it is a bit short to my liking. I am 5’9 for reference and usually wear a size 16 in bottoms from most brands. It is very stretchy but still not too big that I could feel it fall off. I probably could have gotten away with an XL but I like the length of this one and would feel uncomfortable with the size down. I’m glad it still fits and wears pretty good so far.
The first outfit I styled is more dressed up for a girly night out to a restaurant or some kind of date night. I could totally see myself wearing this for that. I love this bralette peaking out of this pink pearl embellished sweater. It looks so cute together. Then paired with this mini crossbody bag and these mauve espadrilles just pulls the look together to create such a fun outfit for spring.
The second outfit is a perfect way to style the skirt in a more casual way. I went with a more sporty vibe with this cropped purple hoodie. I never thought to pair of a hoodie with such a dressy skirt but I love how it turned out and it looks so cute. I went with purple and white accessories to go perfectly with the outfit too. I think this would look so fun for a carnival of theme park day and I can’t wait until we could do that again.
For the last outfit I went with a happy medium of the two. It’s still dressy but good for everyday. I love this white bodysuit right now and just wore it again here. A denim jacket is essential and could be so cute for a going to brunch with the girlfriends kind of vibe. I went with neutral accessories and I don’t do neutral outfits too often but I do love them when I do wear it. This look is such a vibe and can’t wait to wear it out this spring.
That was 3 ways to style a white skirt for spring. If you want to see more ways to style a different white skirt than I posted more here. I love them for spring and look forward to wearing this so much so you will be seeing it avlot on the blog and my Instagram I’m sure. I would love to know if you love white skirts and how would you wear one for the season. Thanks so much for reading about 3 ways to style a white skirt for spring! xo
