How To Style Down a Princess Dress
First let me talk about this dress. I bought it at the end of September I believe and waited until now to wear it. I love the style of it as it reminds me of the famous Instagram dress I see so much. I really want that one but it is over $200 I think so not in my budget at the moment but some time soon. This is just less puffy but it looks similar. It has a see through tulle material on top and underneath it has a matching slip dress under it that comes with so you don’t have to wear it by itself and I like that. It has these puff sleeves which I adore and elastic around it so it can really puff it up. It’s a baby style dress which I was unsure if that style of dress suited me but it kind of does. However I’m wearing an Xl and it is a bit big on me. I do like having my dresses a bit more fitted around the waist. I think a large would fit but I prefer the length of this size on me so I had to choose and I picked length since I’m so tall. It’s a very pretty dress and I would love to wear this more dressy as well some other time.
So how I styled it down is by pairing it with a denim jacket and some flat white slip on sneakers. Nothing says dressing a dress down by pairing it with those two items. I love the contrast of how extra the dress is and how casual the accessories are. It is my go to and when I want a different way to wear a dress this is how I do it. This is also very good for spring coming up too and the colors just match so well.

My accessories are so fun. I love this Chanel dupe bag and I wore the red one so much and I’m glad I have the pink too. Then the pink headband just goes so well with this look. I don’t normally pose with any flower props but this was quite fun and love how it matched the look.
That was how to style down a princess dress! I hope this outfit caught your eye and liked how I dressed this down. Maybe I’ll share how I wear it in a more dressed up style some time. I loved wearing this out and miss going out. The weather was quite warm when I wore this so wasn’t too bad. Are you excited for spring and what are you looking forward to wearing for the season?
