Plans For Valentine’s Day as a Single Gal
Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing my plans for Valentine’s Day as a single gal. Since Valentine’s Day is already this week I thought I would give you a glimpse of what I’m doing and why I still love the holiday despite not having anyone to spend it with. I still love celebrating it and though it is meant for couples it is still fun getting all dressed up and doing something for me. So here are my plans for Valentine’s Day as a single gal and why I love the holiday!
My sweater is so cute and I wore it last year and styled it differently here. I’m wearing a large and it fits exactly on me. So get your size if you want a fitted look or size up for a looser fit. I also found a similar one at TJmaxx recently which I have linked as well here if you want a more affordable option even though mine is still pretty affordable for being an Amazon find here. My jeans are my regular Old Navy pair I have been wearing non-stop. I’m wearing a size 16 if your curious. I then just went with my black pearl bag and then my everyday white and leopard print sneakers. Lastly, I’m wearing a red bow which I just picked up this years version from Forever 21 here. It is so pretty and who can resit a red bow especially with this sweater?

I have always loved Valentine’s day and I think it started in elementary school. I loved the thought of giving cards to all my classmates and wearing pink and red with hearts all over. I still am the same person either 6 or 26 I still love the holiday for the meaning and the theme. I honestly never had someone special to share it with but nowadays I treat myself how I would like to be treated on Valentine’s Day. Who doesn’t love that? Plus I can wear all my favorite colors and dress up as I rock as much heart-themed apparel as I can. I mean even without blogging I still would dress in the theme.
Since I’m not spending it with anyone this year, I’m just going to stay in and wear some comfy loungewear similarly to what I wore here. Maybe bake some sweets since I can’t go out on a cupcake date with my cousin like I did a few years back which I wrote about here. I might also treat myself to something from my wish list here. I then will pamper myself by doing my nails and applying a face mask. It sounds like an ideal evening and for now I’m going to enjoy myself’s company because before you know it I might be spending the holiday doing something entirely different with someone else which i’m looking forward to but for now it’s all about me and whatever I want. Am I right ladies?
Those were my plans for Valentine’s Day as a single gal! Let me know your plans for Valentine’s Day if your flying solo or all loved up. Do you even celebrate Valentine’s Day and hate it like some people or are like me who loves any holiday and gets excited. I hope this inspired you to treat yourself or give you an idea of what to do.
