A Girly Valentine’s Day Themed Outfit
Happy Friday! Also happy Valentine’s Day! Today I’m sharing a girly Valentine’s Day themed outfit I wore. I have worn a few cute outfits for this year’s V-Day series but this has to be my favorite. I love how girly and preppy it is and I feel like a classic little girl in this outfit. I’m all about embracing the whole red and hearts print and the more hearts I wear the happier I am. I shot this outfit right before this one from yesterday so you can kind of see a peak of this top under that sweater. I had to pack in two that day and I even had to do one more yesterday too but it is more a take on winter/spring but has a subtle V-day look. I will be sharing that on Monday so stay tuned as I think that outfit is a close second. You can see more Valentine’s Day outfits from this year here, here, here and lastly here. If you want more looks from over the years since I started my blog then you can go through my archive here. So here is what I wore for this year in a girly Valentine’s Day themed outfit!
Outfit Details
My top underneath my dress which I have been loving and never really tried until last year is from Amazon like my other V-day sweater which you can find here. I love the heart print and the sleeves on this is so cute. I’m wearing a large and it fits exactly. It isn’t cropped or anything but the sleeves are a little because I have long arms I think. I think it only goes up to a large and luckily it fits. I lost a bit of weight since I wore it last year so it fits a whole lot better. My dress I last wore on Fourth of July and I added a tee on top than putting it underneath like this look. It’s a basic red skater style dress from H&M which I linked here. I would have sized up as this is a bit short but it fits my body exactly like I like it but the length but it’s my fault I’m 5’9. Other than that it is a nice stretchy and comfortable material.

When I was thinking of Valentine’s Day outfits this year and planning them out this actual was the first that came up and I finalized when I was writing it down. I remembered I had this top and I wanted a red skirt with it but I saw this dress and thought they would be perfect together. I do love this combination and I wore something similar to this as a child and with a bow it looks like I’m dressed like a little girl which I’m not mad at. I’m totally down with that. I was going to go for an all red look but I like the whole red and white theme still and it is so flattering and fun. I got so many compliments with all my Valentine’s Day outfits as I was shooting them in public so a lot of people liked it in real life so let me know if you online people like it as well.
For my accessories, I love everything. I just picked up this Lady Dior dupe as I am really loving this style of bag and you know I can’t afford the real thing so I opted for a designer dupe and it is so cute. I was wanting a pink but couldn’t find one so a white one can do and it is so cute and I don’t have too many shiny patent faux leather bags so this is an addition to my collection and I didn’t own a white bag until now so it can be a great bag to go with everything when i’m struggling to find a bag to match my outfits. I wore my Amazon heart sunnies which had to be added to this look. Next is my red bow which I fell in love with as soon as I saw it in store. it’s only $5 at Forever 21 linked here and I finally found a giant red bow after looking for one forever in December during the holidays so you best believe you will see this whenever I need a red bow now. I have minimal jewelry and since I don’t know where my red heart stud earrings are I went for my red bow studs to have the pop of red like I wanted. Lastly are my dirty everyday sneakers which I need to pick up a new pair because they are so versatile and perfect for all the casual outfits. I decided to dress this down and made it more preppy with sneakers rather than the heels I wore in yesterdays post but if I wore to dress it up those chunky heels would have been perfect.
That was a girly Valentine’s Day themed outfit I wore! I spent my Valentine’s Day by taking my dad to a doctor’s appointment for a check up and then I took both my parents out for an early dinner afterwards so it was a pretty chill one. I bought myself some discounted chocolate and my yearly tradition of buying myself my Valentine’s Day balloons and I love that but hopefully one day someone special will buy them for me but for now I deserve my balloons. I had a pretty chill day and wouldn’t spend it any way. I was very happy and I was surrounded by love of my parents so what more can you ask for? What did you do for Valentine’s Day? I’d love to know and thanks for reading a girly Valentine’s Day themed outfit I wore! xo
That’s a gorgeous Valentine’s day look, it’s definitely my favourite out of all the ones I’ve seen today on social media.
Thanks so much Marta! That means a lot to me and glad you liked it. This was my favorite outfit I wore and shot!
