How I Made My 2020 Dream Board
Happy Tuesday! Today I’m sharing how I made my 2020 dream board! So these may look familiar to my goals I posted in this blog post here. I’m not going to explain about the images because I kind of did that in that post already. This will be how I planned out my dream board and share my thoughts on the law of manifestation. I wanted this to be more visual so I got some images and arranged them on a poster board and I also filmed putting it together so I will link that later on in this post. So for now here is how I made my 2020 dream board and how I achieved to create it!
I first off made my dream board on Photoshop. I found it really helpful to see what I will be doing and if the images will go together so it looks aesthetically pleasing to be extra motivational so you an really achieve those goals you stuck to that board. I combined my 2020 goals, my social media goals I wrote about here and a few things I want to achieve this decade as a long term goal like what I plan to do and buy. You don’t have to take this extra step of starting on the computer but I find it really useful and I get more inspo that way and I love the digital medium as well as the traditional hands on way too.
Materials & What You Need
Poster Board (size depends on your preference)
Tape/Glue Stick
Computer
Printer
Scissors
Pinterest/Google Images/Site To Find Inspo Pics
Photoshop (optional)
Not too many materials to make this. If you have any of these laying around then this will be so easy. As I said I started on Photoshop to plan my images. I then used Photoshop to change the number of my social media to share what I want to achieve. I got most of my images on Pinterest and just mixed and match them to create the vibe and aesthetic I want to reflect. Then I used my printer to print out those images I choose and then cut them out. I am terrible at cutting a straight line and have always struggled since kindergarten. Please tell me I’m not the only one who has this problem. After that I used double sided tape to stick the images on to this poster board which I got both at the 99 Cent Store. I rearranged them like how I did on my laptop to get the same outcome. And that’s it! I placed mine in a place I always see it and that was how I made my 2020 dream board!
Here is the video that I filmed for my Youtube channel. I share step by step how I do it and the reasons behind each picture. I also talk about law of manifestation and how I made my dreams come true. I think by now you know I moved to LA more than a year ago now and I went to New York last year as well which those two were on my goals list back in the beginning of 2018 and I achieved it. So I’ve been more focused on putting positive vibes and my wants into the universe to achieve these goals and put in the work to make them come true. I talk more about goal planning and more so make sure to watch it.
That is how I made my 2020 dream board! I hope you enjoyed this post and this craft project I did. It was so fun to do more creative projects and to visualize my goals and do this for myself. I love that I did something more with my goals this year and in the decade. So I hope you too got inspired by how I made my 2020 dream board and I hope your dreams come true and that it can work for you too. Thanks for reading! xo
