The Outfit I Wore on Fourth of July
Happy Friday! As yesterday was Independence Day here in the US, I thought I would share the outfit I wore on Fourth of July. I actually wore a few outfits and was meant to do an outfit ideas blog post but I thought it was too last minute and I focused more on spending the holiday with my dad and his first Fourth of July here in the US in about 10 years. Oh by the way, my dad decided to extend his stay and is now living with me indefinitely for the next few months. Another update about me is I’m starting my blog back up again after taking last month off. There will be a full update post soon and a little refresh coming soon. Okay now back to this blog post before I get ahead of myself. As I said, I wore a few outfits but this was my favorite and I had to share it with you. So here is the outfit I wore on Fourth of July!

This year’s outfit is the cutest! I went very patriotic and on theme for this look I styled. The tee I’m wearing is red, white and blue stripes and though it is perfect for Fourth of July, I still think it can be worn on other occasions too. I love the tie hem detail for tees like this and it gives a bit more detail to a simple tee. My “skirt” is actually a dress that I put the tee on top of. I don’t own a red dress and now I do and it’s the perfect basic red dress I can use for all my themed holidays now. It’s a basic I didn’t know I needed until now. It is a great fit and only $9.99 so such a bargain. I’m wearing the size 16 which is my normal size so it fits true to size. I couldn’t find my red bag and I needed to leave so the only one I thought looked great was my cream Chloe Nile dupe and it worked pretty well. I wish I could have had my red bag I wear in all my theme outfits but I like the cream broke up the outfit with all the other colors. Lastly I wore my white slip on shoes I’ve been wearing non-stop. Also they are white so matched well with the color theme too.
My accessories with themed outfits are always my favorite and I always go all out. I went with red sunglasses I wore on Valentine’s Day so they are hearts instead of stars which is not really on brand but I wasn’t going to buy star sunglasses to wear once. They did look good with the outfit and matched the vibe of it. My earrings however are stars so I got some stars in there somewhere. I just bought them at Forever 21 for under $4 so a bargain and my go to for stud earrings honestly. My necklace is old and I worn in it all my Fourth of July outfits so it’s kind of a tradition of mine. I wore some pearly bracelets to add some more white to the outfit and my normal jewelry mixed in as well. Lastly and my favorite part is the sequin red, white and blue bow. I love my themed bows and this was so cute. I bought it at Target for under $6 and it was the perfect touch to the outfit. Of course I had to wear a red lip to really finish it off. And that concludes the outfit I wore on Fourth of July!
That was the outfit I wore on Fourth of July! So this was my 2019 version but I do have a few of my Fourth of July outfits I have documented over the years. You can find one here and here. I might do a recap of more outfits next year as I do have a few more I took pictures in. I did have an amazing holiday and did a mini vlog of the behind the scenes of how I shot these photos and others and what I did on Fourth of July with my dad which is up on my Youtube channel. So that is it for the outfit I wore on Fourth of July this year and the details. I’d love to know if you go all out and wear themed outfits like me or just wear whatever. I hope you had a fab Fourth of July and a happy weekend ahead!
