Girly Outfit I Wore To Brunch at Urth Caffe
Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing a girly outfit I wore to brunch at Urth Caffe. I went last week with my roommate and I think it’s such a good idea to head to brunch with a a friend or grab a bunch of your girl friends for a pre-Valentine’s Day treat. Since it’s actually the first of February I thought it would be a great idea to share this with you in case you needed to make plans. So here is my girly outfit I wore to brunch at Urth Caffe and all the food I ate!

This was a spur of the moment thing. My roommate came into my room early Monday morning and ask if I was down to head to Urth Caffe. She’s always wanted to go and I wanted to as well so we made a date out of it. She is always taking my pictures and going with me for blog things so I treated her to brunch. We actually went on Martin Luther Kind Day so it was extra crowded and we waited about 45 minutes in line to order and get a table. I think it was worth it and we got some good brunch food and pictures out of it so a good day for us.
To start off with, I got the chocolate tiramisu cake for my roommate and I to share and it was so good. yes we ate this before our food as it was served right away but it was so yummy to have dessert before our meal. I mean we are adults so we can have cake for breakfast if we wanted to and we did.
My roommate got the margarita pizza and she shared a slice with me and it was pretty yummy. It did take a bit longer to serve then mine but really worth the wait.
I ended up getting the Egg Sandwich and it was amazing. I love stuff like this for brunch and it came with a side salad. I also got the green tea bobba and I miss drinking bobba teas when I still lived back home so it reminded me of that. I actually thought I wouldn’t like it as I’m not a big fan of green tea but it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. it was actually really good and I would so order it again. I paid $23 in total including the cake. I just wanted to throw that in if you are curious as I forgot to real prices.
This outfit I wore was not what I initially was going with. This sweater is actually a sweater dress. I got it in the men’s clearance section for $6. Yes it was a bargain. Unfortunately even if it’s a XL in men’s it still wasn’t long enough on me. I just want a sweater to be long enough so I can wear it as a dress. It almost made it but I would be too uncomfortable if I wore it alone in public so I added my H&M bow tie skirt on top. Then I knew I was going to pair the sweater dress with my new taupe over the knee boots which looked so cute together and the white fur coat on top but I had to add the skirt to make the outfit work. At least the black skirt and the black trimming on my bag tied everything together. It still is quite a cute outfit but not what I had in my head when I planned out this brunch outfit.

I didn’t do too many accessories with this outfit. I did finally wear these new hoops I purchased a few weeks ago. They are so pretty and they aren’t just your regular diamond hoops. No they have diamond bows on it. You know if it has a bow I will buy it and that matches with my bow ring and bangle I bought with the earrings too that I’m wearing. Of course you can’t forget my actual hair bow. It’s the first time I wore it this year and with spring just around the corner I know it will be making appearances left and right with my outfits so you’ll be seeing it quite a lot I’m sure.
That was my girly outfit I wore to brunch at Urth Caffe. It was such a nice day with my roommate and I enjoyed. It’s quite similar to when I went on a cupcake date which I wrote about here last year. I love when it’s just my roommate and I and we try new places to eat. it’s become our regular thing and slowly but surely we are crossing off places to eat at off our list. I’d love to know if you’ve ate here before or if you recommend any great places to eat at in LA. So I hope you enjoyed reading about my girly outfit I wore to brunch at Urth Caffe and the food I recommend eating if you ever stop by.
