Two Ways I Style A Henley Tee

Happy Wednesday! Today I’m sharing two ways I style a henley tee. I know these are very popular tops and I always see my favorite bloggers wearing them. So I decided to give one a try. I saw it in store and I knew exactly how I would style it. Then I took it home and found another way I could wear it. The first is a more dressed up way to style this casual top and the there is a more laid back but together version. This top is so versatile and cute that I had to share. As you can see I’ve been loving the neutral shades right now. From blacks to whites and grey to beige. I’m more of a color girl but who can resist a good and simple color palette. I wore another neutral outfit here which was my winter white and black outfit. Also the color of this outfit is perfect as it’s almost the last day of January and once February rolls around I can start dressing for spring. It’s very fitting this was the last outfit of January. Now here is two ways I style a henley tee and give you some outfit inspiration and convince you that you need a top like this in your wardrobe.

I know there are about a hundred different ways to style this top but I came up with two ways I style a henley tee. I’m sharing a dressy vibe and a casual vibe and then can also be great for day to night as well. I made sure to capture my girly aesthetic while still maintaining a chic look as well.

Dressy

Outfit Details

That is the first of two ways I style a henley tee. I went for a more dressy vibe. I paired the top with a black button down denim skirt. I’ve worn this once before here but haven’t found a way to wear it again until now. I then threw on my black faux suede moto jacket on top as it is a bit chilly in LA right now. This mini skirt is not complete without my over the knee boots that have been my go to foot wear if you couldn’t tell. I added some accessories like these black pom pom bow earrings, my black sunnies, and a few rings. Last is a silver hair bow I actually bought with the top. I knew this was a more girly look so I added the bow.

Casual

Outfit Details

The second of the two ways I style a henley tee is a casual one. It’s perfect for a weekend with friends or heading out to the mall. It’s just dressed up enough that you look put together and not like you just threw it on. I pulled out my black ripped skinny jeans instead of my regular black skinny jeans as I wanted to stick with the edgy vibe. Then I went with some heeled ankle booties which I have never paired with these jeans before but I love. My bag was my Christmas present but I haven’t used it yet until now. It’s a perfect tote and looked so cute with the outfit. As for accessories, I wore almost the same as the other outfit but instead of a bow I went with a grey beret. By now you know I either wear a bow or a beret with my outfits and since I haven’t worn the grey color yet I knew it would look nice with the grey top.

Those were two ways I style a henley tee. I hope this gave you some outfit inspiration and a reason to go pick one up as well. I just bought mine at JcPennys for $14 and it’s still on sale. I got a size medium if you’re wondering. The large was too oversized and I liked the fit of the medium. It depends on what fit you like so I can’t tell you to size up or down. It comes in a few colors and I might buy more as it is becoming my favorite kind of top to dress up or down or even wear for daily use.
