First Holiday Outfit of the Season at Universal City Walk
Happy Monday! Today I’m excited to share with you my first holiday outfit of the season at Universal City Walk. I went last week with my roommate for the first time and we explored together. I didn’t really plan out this outfit exactly. I did have it in mind but I didn’t know how well it would turn out. I wanted an outfit that can transition from fall to winter and I think I succeed. So here is my first holiday outfit of the season at Universal City Walk and all the details of my wintery look.

As I said, I’ve never been to Universal City Walk. I heard great things and was looking forward to visiting. I wasn’t really planning on shooting a holiday look while I was there but it just turned out that way and I’m glad so I could show you my first holiday outfit. I’m surprised it wasn’t as crowded there and I thought it would be. I managed to get a few shots without many people behind me. The first shot I saw an opening and screamed to my roommate to get the shot while everyone was almost out of the way. Then a bunch of people came but we got the shot and I’m happy with it. Also with the Christmas tree I got pictures with it without too many people interrupting. Sometimes it’s hard but I do manage to get the shot. If you want to see a blog post on how I take my blog pictures and how I get the shot without many people then I’d love to do one. I’m really happy how these pictures turned out even though it didn’t quite match the color of the trees the whole vibe and winter look did make it look more holiday themed.

My first holiday outfit of the season at Universal City Walk consisted of this sweater. I actually wore this before my Black Friday shopping outfit here which inspired that one and I also wore it once before when I was in Baguio here. I haven’t worn it since last December as it is such a warm and cozy sweater. It’s supposed to be an off the shoulder sweater but I styled it as a rolled neck instead. I love the color and it makes it more winter like. Then I wore this burgundy suede mini skirt which is the perfect fall skirt but also looks good for the holidays too. My bag has been my everyday bag lately and you will see it in many outfits coming up. Also so are my over the knee boots which to be honest completed the look. Lastly instead of a bow I have traded them in for berets lately as they look cute and keep my head warm. I just bought this cream rhinestone beret and it looks amazing with the color of the sweater and gives it an extra sparkly touch to the outfit.
The day was so fun and I have so many more pictures that aren’t holiday themed so I might be a photo diary of my day like I did before. I really enjoyed and seeing all the fun Christmas decorations everywhere really makes it so fun. I have so many other places I want to see and take holiday pictures at but if you know any around the LA area then please let me know as I might have missed a lot since I am still getting used to living here.
If you couldn’t tell I’ve been doing my makeup more and more lately. I used to never wear makeup in my outfits but now I just love to match my eye and lips with my outfit. Honestly I am getting so much better and it’s so fun. I can;t wait to create some holiday makeup looks. By the way if you’re wondering, my lipstick is Colourpop matte lippie in More Better. It matched so well with my skirt and my nails if only you can see them. You know I love to have everything match. For my eyes I went with a subtle berry tone and brown smokey eye. I have never worn so much eyeshadow before and it’s been so nice to play around with.
That was my first holiday outfit of the season at Universal City Walk! I hope you enjoyed this outfit and one of the first of many holiday outfits. I really love this outfit and had the best day. I love documenting what I’ve been up to. There’s a vlog up on my channel as well of this day so head over there for that. Let me know your favorite holiday outfit you wore. I’d love to know and hope you enjoyed my first holiday outfit of the season at Universal City Walk!
