The Outfit I Wore to Hike to the Hollywood Sign
Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing the outfit I wore to hike to the Hollywood sign. My roommate and I went last week as another spur of the moment trip. She came into my room and announced that we should go as it was a nice day and she was bored. I was so up to it and it was perfect as it wasn’t too hot nor was it too cold. So off we went to do some exercise that day. I went with a fitness inspired outfit and it was an excuse to wear it as honestly I don’t go to the gym. I loved the outfit and had such a fun day so I thought I would share. So here is the outfit I wore to hike to the Hollywood sign!

Here is my active/fitness inspired outfit. I started off with this white tie hem top from H&M. I have worn this a few times and it is so comfy. It’s the perfect light material and I put it over a rose pink sports bra. Then I paired that with my only active leggings I own and it convinces me to buy more. I love them and I actually have worn them a few times here on the blog. I did bring a hoodie to tie around my waist and it came in handy as it got cold in the evening. It was an easy outfit to hike in and I felt like such fitness kind of person in it. I know it doesn’t make sense but it was a very comfy outfit and something I totally would wear it again for any hike or physical activity.

For my accessories, I went with all blush pink again which you know is my favorite. The backpack is one of the bags I took with e when I moved. I knew it would come in handy one day and it has. I last wore it in my amusement park outfit guide here. Also last wore the sneakers then too. They aren’t as comfortable but thy look cute. I love the blush pink suede and surprisingly they didn’t get as dirty as I thought they would treading through the dirt. My pink mirror sunglasses made a difference in the sun and they matched the outfit perfectly. Lastly is my blush pink velvet bow with my high ponytail.
I had this planned out for months and just waited on the chance for my roommate and I to head up to the Hollywood sign. I’ve seen several videos and blog posts that you have to hike up the mountain to get a good shot with it so I was prepared to wear this outfit. I’m not good with physical activity like this but I did challenge myself. I mean I climbed 500 steps last year so I think I could climb uphill on a mountain. The hike was pretty okay and we didn’t manage to get to the top but I did make it half way to get some of these pictures. It was not as hot that day even though it looks like. It was the perfect temperature and it made the day much more enjoyable. After the hike, my roommate and I got an Uber which was so difficult as there was no signal up there but when we did we finally got one and went to see the movies. It was a perfect day of sightseeing and hanging out with my roommate.
That was the outfit I wore to hike to the Hollywood sign! I really loved this outfit and my hike up. I can’t believe I finally went to see it. I still remember as a kid driving by the Hollywood sign and thinking how magical it was and now all these years later I got to see it up close. I’m slowly but surely crossing off the places I have on my to see list here in LA with all the tourist and instagrammable places. I have seen so much and got to enjoy and take pictures creating happy memories. I love where I live and exploring it everyday. So I hope you liked the outfit I wore to hike to the Hollywood sign and let me know what kind of outfit you would wear if you could hike it!
