Perfect Fall Outfit to Wear to a Pumpkin Patch
Happy Monday! I’m so happy to share my perfect fall outfit to wear to a pumpkin patch which I went to last week. I have had this planned since August I think and been so excited for October to come just so I can go to a pumpkin patch again and I even wrote about it in my October goals here. So I’m going to keep this short and just show you a perfect fall outfit to wear to a pumpkin patch!

The Outfit
I am in love with this outfit and how I styled it. The base of this outfit is a black ruffle tee that is so comfy. Next is this orange or actually it’s called tan corduroy skater skirt. When I was planning my outfit to wear to a pumpkin patch I wanted something orange and I came across this skirt and it was close enough. It is my favorite skirt right now and I plan on picking it up in more colors. Then I added a fluffy and warm cream cardigan and wore it over the shoulder in some shots as it was so hot. It is so nice and soft that it has been my favorite to throw with different outfits. Last is my over the knee boots. I have been wearing these everywhere and trust me you will see it in so many outfit pictures coming up. They are so comfy and are the perfect fall shoe I own.

I feel like a proper fashion blogger in her element in this outfit. I have gotten so much inspiration from my favorite fashion bloggers and how they dress. I knew my style would change when I moved to LA and I kind of like how I’m dressing now. I do think I’m dressing like a basic fall girl but who cares because I never got to dress like this until now. I’m embracing this style and love this outfit so much!

I mixed a lot of fall colors in this outfit but somehow they all coordinate and go together. I thought it was too much but looking at it now I think it’s just enough. There are orange tones, some deep burgundy and then some blacks. The tan skirt goes with my tan bag, the top, the boots, the beret and the sunglasses are all black and go with each other. The scarf combines all the colors and pulls it all together and goes nicely with my lip color too. The last thing is the cream cardigan but creams go with everything so it doesn’t feel out of place and just combines one more color into the mix.
Outfit Details
The scarf I got at Forever 21 and I’ve been wanting a new scarf. I love the colors and yes it does remind me of Harry Potter and so I created a last minute costume with it here. I went with a tan bag instead of a black one like I originally was going to use with this outfit. I like it and my decision to use my tan Chloe Nile dupe bag went really well with the orange skirt and I’ve proven this can be such a great all year round bag. For a hair accessory, I added a black beret because I actually couldn’t find a bow to match but I like the beret and it made it more fall. Then added some black sunglasses since as you can see it was very bright. For jewlery I just wore my dainty heart pendent necklace and my bow pearl earrings.
The Makeup
Can I say how much I love the makeup I did? I’m surprised it stayed on and didn’t melt off. I went with a matte orange in the crease and then a gold sparkle in the inner corner. I want with a pretty glam look and love how my makeup turned out. I just played around that morning and it turned out so cute. Now I was trying to go with an orangey tone lip but I left it back in Manila so I improvised and just used this burgundy color I never used before and I like it. I love when my eye makeup and lips match but I realized the lips ties in the colors of the scarf so it technically still matches and goes together. Also I just had an ice cream cone right before I took these pictures and it makes it look like I have ombre lips which is quite cool too. Let me know if you want to see me create this fall makeup look here on the blog or my Youtube channel.

Don’t be fooled by my outfit. It may look cute and it is very fall like but try wearing all these layers in LA weather. I loved how I styled this outfit as I said but I overestimated the weather and was sweating a lot with these layers. What I do for pictures right? It reminded me of taking pictures back home where I stood in very hot weather just to get the picture. I’m so used to it that my roommate asked while taking these how I can still pose and smile with the sun in my eyes and still look cute. I said I’m used to it and I guess after all those years posing in the middle of the day in sunlight I got accustomed to it. Good thing I had layers so I could just stripe them off afterwards. I look decent in these but let me tell you I was sweating. I know LA doesn’t have fall weather and this day was so hot when we went to the pumpkin patch.
It feels like forever since I did a what I wore post. I think it’s because my roommate has been busy and couldn’t go out and shoot with me. Before it was cause I ran out of outfits to style and clothes to wear but since I did a lot of shopping especially after my huge fall haul shopping spree which you can see here and here that wasn’t the case anymore. That’s made me realize I think it’s time I invest in a proper photographer. So if you know or are a photographer based in LA and do outfit shoots like these then please let me know as it’s been a struggle and I miss doing shoots like these. Also I never had a proper photographer and think it’s time instead of having whoever is around to take my pictures. If you know of any please send them my way.
That was my perfect fall outfit to wear to a pumpkin patch! I adored how I style this and couldn’t wait to share this with you. It was my goal to go and shoot pictures at a pumpkin patch and I did. I haven’t been to one since I was a little girl. I remember going to an actual pumpkin patch at a farm as a school field trip and then going on a hay ride on one of those tractor things. I kind of want to go to one like that again as it is classic. The one I went to wasn’t like that and it was man made which is okay as I do live in the city but I still want the farm style one maybe I can go to one next year or even the one I went to as a child. If you’re wondering I went to Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Culver City and I know a lot of other bloggers have went there as that is where I got the info as it’s the closet one I live near. It’s quite nice and I got some cute photos as you can see. I had the most amazing day and I even vlogged the whole thing so that will be up soon. I hope you enjoyed and got some inspiration to find the perfect fall outfit to wear to a pumpkin patch. Let me know if you went to one and what you wore as I’d love to know or just your fave fall outfit you’ve been wearing on repeat as this one has been mine.
I love this skirt and scarf together – it’s so fall and happy! Perfect for pumpkin picking
