The Pretty Pink and Peach Glam Makeup Look
Happy Friday! Today is a bit of a throwback as I shot these in the Philippines back in summer. So I know it’s almost fall now but I’m going to squeeze out the last of the summer content. I actually forgot about this post and matching video when I was clearing out my laptop. I do that every few months and I almost got rid of this. I was so happy with how my makeup turned out and did a whole look on it. I love wearing pink so naturally I would enjoy pink makeup. At first I was intimidated and thought it would look silly and make me look like I was unwell but I surprised myself and documented it was one of my summer looks and I did it during my birthday week and loved it so I’m know going to share with you the pretty pink and peach glam makeup look.
I love showcasing my makeup looks and have been doing more a lot on my blog. I have a few up like my autumn inspired one here, one I did on my birthday which was a neutral glam here and lastly I blogged about the makeup products I use on an everyday basis here. I think this is the most colorful one I did because the autumn one was very bold but this is colorful and fun. I wanted to get into more colorful looks so I guess I did and it was fun to do.
The eye look I went with was a pink and peachy glam look. I was so inspired by the BYS Peach palette which I have a review up where I share my thoughts and swatches of here. It is such a versatile palette and has some pretty pink shades, then some warm peach ones and some neutrals if you aren’t feeling the colors. It’s so good and I manged to create this. I blended them all together and I’m not the best at eyeshadow yet and it was my first attempt really using the palette to its potential. I started with the first shade in the palette called dainty all over the lid as a base. Then I added the shade Lavish to the crease with a crease brush and kind of winged it out. Next I took the shade Pamper in the inner corner. Last I wet my brush with MAC Fix+ and took the shade Slay and dabbed it in the middle to really add that sparkly metallic to be the center of attention. When that was done I blended the colors together and got this as my final eye look. It was really fun to play with the pink shades and mix in a bit of peach. There are more bold peach shades that I need to play with more too.
By looking at these pictures I can say my makeup has improved quite a lot in my eyes. I mean to some it might not but for me I think I’m getting the hang of it and I’m really proud of this. I love how my skin looks and wish it still looked like that. The air in LA is a lot drier so my skin is very dry and I need to change my skincare routine to make up for the climate changing my skin. I used to sweat all my makeup off in Manila and here it stays on but you can see all my dry patches which has put me off wearing a full face of heavy makeup. I did get a brand new skincare routine and my skin is sort of back to normal so I’m going to try a full face again so wish me luck. These photos have no smoothing effects or filters on it. It’s my natural skin with foundation and you can see a few of my bumps and pores but overall my base looks so flawless and I love that. Let’s hope that I can achieve this once again when my skin sorts itself out. I want to achieve this makeup again.

That was the pretty pink and peach glam makeup look I created over the summer. I actually miss doing my makeup this glam. Ever since I moved to LA, I’ve been doing natural everyday makeup with just a flawless base, nice brows, a bit of mascara and a nude lippie. However, looking at this it makes me want to go all glam and just do the whole glam makeup look. Maybe one of these days I’ll do another fall look since I bought a few gorgeous fall lip shades recently. If you want to see a makeup tutorial on how to get this look then I filmed it for my Youtube Channel here which will be up this evening. So I hope you enjoyed the pretty pink and peach glam makeup look and let me know what your favorite glam look to create is and the colors you use to achieve it.
