How I Styled A Teal Bow With A Blue Outfit
Happy Friday! Today is another spot I found to take pictures in front of. There are so many pretty wall murals here in LA that I am overwhelmed with all the choices I have. However this outfit’s focus is my new bow. Yes I finally bought the famous blogger bow and I’m going to show you how I styled a teal bow with a blue outfit!

I do love a good blue outfit. I have actually worn a similar outfit here and here. I mean it’s technically not repeating an outfit but it’s close to those two. I’m quite limited with clothes as I did move some of my wardrobe half way across the world so there will be outfit repeats once in a while but at least the locations will be different. I’ll try not to but you never know. I outfit repeat all the time but when I do outfit pictures I try not to show the same outfit again. I actually use my blog as a catalog of what I’ve worn already and can wear again for a certain occasion. I even searched my blog for a good summer outfit when I first got here so I could go into my suitcase and get that specific outfit out so I didn’t have to go digging through my suitcase and make my room a mess by throwing all the clothes everywhere and messing up my nicely packed suitcase. I do love this outfit variation and as I said before I do like wearing an all blue outfit once in a while to break up all the pink I wear.
This was actually a very fun afternoon. I finished up a few blog related bits at home and then I did my makeup and hair because I was meeting up with my housemate. She has been taking my pictures if you are wondering who has been taking them as I moved to LA by myself. Well she works in Beverly Hills at a restaurant so after her shift I went to the restaurant and we had dinner there. After that we headed to this #lovewall I pass every time I go visit her at her work and kept telling her how pretty it was and I needed to take pictures there. I actually haven’t seen this online when I was searching for pretty Instagram locations for some reason. I just passed it and took note of it and again planned my outfit around it. We got there when the sun was right on it so it created harsh shadows so I suggest waiting until the sun goes down behind the wall in front of it. That’s what we did and ended up getting better shots. The first ones we took were very harsh and I was squinting so I suggest waiting until about 7 or 8pm to not get shadows on you. The wall is very pretty and I have a thing with heart prints so it was perfect.

Outfit Details
Top – I think by now you know I have this top in almost every color it comes in. It’s from H&M and I’ve been obsessed with it and worn it several times and several ways. Again, it’s making a come back but in the blue shade to go with the wall and the color palette I choose.
Skirt – I was honestly going to go for a black skirt but I saw this one first thank goodness and choose it instead. I still love the navy blue color and the see through stripe detailing.
Bag – I’m using my cream Chloe Nile dupe and went with a neutral to keep the blue outfit the main focus. I don’t own a blue bag or knowing me I would’ve paired it with the look but honestly I’m glad I don’t as that would be too much blue.
Heels – It’s my first time wearing heels in LA and I choose my most comfy ones because I wasn’t going to walk all around LA in high heels especially when you have to walk to most places.

Now we get to my favorite part. The bow and how I styled a teal bow with a blue outfit. Well I’ve been lusting after this bow since I first laid my eyes on it. I have a whole back story about it which I will tell on another occasion but for now I had this bow in my possession and it was the first time I was going to style it. Now I had nothing to exactly match the teal of the bow so I went with a blue outfit. So I made sure that the bow and the outfit had an ombre moment going on and I was experiment with it and loved how it looks. I like how all the blue shades blend together with one another and they aren’t too matchy matchy but they are all in the same color family. I like how it turned out and I can’t wait to wear this bow in different ways with different outfits. I also love how well the color of the bow matches with the colors in the background. I do think they compliment each other real well and made a great backdrop to show off my new bow that’s been in my wish list for a while.
I looked up this wall online and couldn’t find it but if you are curious then it’s near 3rd Street and Crescent Heights in West Hollywood. I took note of the signs when I pass it so you can head to this #LoveWall.
So that was how I styled a teal bow with a blue outfit. I’m looking forward to styling this bow even more in different hairstyles and places. I need to find more places to wear it to and get dressed up. I’d love to know if you are still loving the bow trend as I won’t get tired of it. I know this bow is on sale at Free People right now so I’ve linked it if you want one yourself. I hope you enjoyed this rather blue outfit and if you have ever worn a single shade like this!
I love wearing multiple shades of color in one outfit! It also makes me feel a little more put together when my blacks NEVER match haha. This is super cute girl!

Thanks so much Jordan! I have been loving the same color palette outfits and I feel you with the matching blacks together.
