My Everyday Makeup Routine
Happy Wednesday! I wanted to do something beauty related for today’s post and I realized I have never shared my everyday makeup routine and products I tend to use. Right now I have been loving the products to create a full face and what I wear for everyday and the makeup I’m wear in my outfit pictures. Since I have been packing up my makeup too it reminded me that I know I love a product so much since I’m going to be taking it with me to another country. I am honestly obsessed with all of my current products so here is my everyday makeup routine and products I use whenever I wear makeup.
primer: Too Faced Hangover RX Primer
First off is primer, I picked this up in March well this and the next two products I bought all together for a wedding I was a bridesmaid for and I was doing my own makeup. Ever since then I’ve been using this and like it and makes my makeup stay on even through this very hot weather I keep complaining about like here.
foundation: Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Nude
My go to foundation recently is this and so far I’m liking it. I got the perfect color match which I’m surprised with and it makes me look super flawless. With the hot weather it does get oily a bit faster than I like but powdering it down makes it look matte and perfect again.
concealer: Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in Medium & Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Honey
I have been using two concealers. the first is a high end one and I bought it because of the hype and I can say it is amazing and I truly love it. The second concealer is drugstore and another hyped up product. Again, works amazing. I use them either separately on their own so whatever I’m feeling that day or I use the Tarte and then layer the Maybelline one on top to give extra coverage for those days when I didn’t get much sleep and need it to cover my dark circles. Honestly, I love these two concealers and they are doing so great for me.
setting powder: BYS Translucent Loose Powder in Natural
Last to set everything down I use a loose powder. I use this to bake my concealer and then dust the rest on top my face to make sure everything is in place. It mattifies my skin and I love that look on me especially since I am a little oily and don’t want to look to dewy.
bronzer & blush: Detail Contour & Blush Palette
For this I’m still obsessed with this palette for bronzer blush and contour. It’s a great travel palette and works so well. If you want to see the pigmentation and swatches I did a whole review about it here.
contour: NYX Wonderstick Concealer in Universal
I have recently gotten into cream contouras it was missing in my routine. After watching so many tutorials on it I thought I would give it a try and this was highly recommended for beginners. I do actually like it and have been pracring with it. I don’t contour much but my nose and jaw to define them. I use the Detail palette above to set it and deepen the contour if I want a more chiseled look that day.
highlighter: Too Faced Love Lights Highlight in Ray of Light & Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette
Now I have two highlighters that i use on rotation. For an everyday glowy look I use the high end one for a rose gold highlight on my cheekbones and everywhere I want that glow. Then for an intense glow I go for this drugstore palette. I love this and it has a few shade choices so I can pick one to go with that look that day. It depends which I use and what I’m feeling that day but I do love them both. I have a review on both the highlights so here is the Too Faced one and here is the Sleek one.
eyebrow products: NYX Mirco Brow Pencil in Brunette, Benefit Ready Set Brow & Benefit High Brow
I’ve been loving my brow routine and it’s thanks to the products I’ve been using. To fill in my brows I use a brow pencil and love this one from NYX. It works well and I fill in the sparse areas and shape them with the pencil then I use a brow gel from Benefit to set them in place and comb the product through. Lastly I use this highlight pencil again from Benefit to highlight my brow bone and it makes them look more defined.
mascara: L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise
The mascara I use for everyday is this one. It’s a pretty recent addition to my makeup routine but I am loving it. It is pretty good and gives me great volume and makes my lashes really long and curled. I was seeing it everywhere so when it finally launched here I made it a mission to try it and now it’s my everyday mascara.
eyeliner: Maybelline Hypersharp Liquid Eyeliner
The eyeliner I love and have been using is this. I have been practicing my liner and wings with this and doing a pretty good job I think. I don’t do it every single day but when I have extra time and want it for a certain I look I use this. Most times I just add a thin line for a everyday look.
eye shadow palette: BYS Peach Palette
My go to summer eyeshadow palette is this one. The colors are beautiful and I’ve been creating some fun and colorful looks with it. I love the peachy tones and it’s been going great with my outfits. Whenever I do wear eyeshadow then I reach for this one currently. I have a review of thi with swatches to see the colors here.
lip products: I have a lot of lipsticks but right now I am loving the Sleek Matte Me in Birthday Suit and Shabby Chic. They are my go to but I have so many other favorites. Let me know if you want to see my favorite lipsticks and do a whole post on that.
setting spray: L’oreal Infallible Makeup Setting Spray
Last makeup product in my makeup routine is setting spray and I’m currently using this one from L’oreal. It is the first one I bought and so far I really like. It makes my makeup last and isn’t too wet or make me dewy. I also have a review of this here.

makeup tools: Real Techniques – Setting, Sculpting, Expert Face Brush & Beauty Sponge
The makeup tools I use are a few Real Techniques brushes. I bought my first RT brush a few months ago and since then I’ve been loving then and grown my collection. To blend my foundation I use a beauty blender dupe which I picked up at a local drugstore and it works just fine. I might invest in the real thing one day but for now I really like this one.
That was my everyday makeup routine and products I use on a daily basis! Of course I wanted to share my makeup routine after just sharing my skincare routine (which if you missed here) to complete my beauty routine I have been loving recently. I hope you enjoyed and got a glimpse of my everyday makeup routine. It varies of course but right now this is what I’m doing and using. Also if you’ve missed it then I wrote about how I did my makeup on my birthday here. I use a lot of the same products so you can get another look at the makeup I’m currently doing. So I hope you enjoyed this and got an idea of what I do in my everyday makeup routine and products I hand picked to suite me. Let me know your daily makeup essentials as I love discovering new products to try out.
