An Enchanted Pink Kingdom
Happy Wednesday! Todayโs outfit is what I wore to a theme park last month. I had been planning on going for a while with my cousins and I had an idea to shoot it and with that in mind it made the perfect curvy outfit to wear to a theme park. So I’m going to be sharing with you the details of what I think is the perfect thing to wear to any kind of amusement/theme park when you need an outfit idea as a curvy like me.
The theme park I went to was Enchanted Kingdom. I’ve never been and have lived about half hour away from it for years now. I had a chance when I was little but it got postponed and then I never had a chance until recently. I went with my cousins and it made the trip so much more fun.ย I went to Disneyland before but having no family or cousins to go with in the US and only going with my mom and dad wasn’t as fun as being surrounded by your cousins who are around your own age to go with. Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed Disneyland whenever I went but didn’t get the experience to really go on all the rides without dragging my parents. I was also maybe 8 or 9 when I last went to Disneyland so I was scared/too young to really experience those fun things at Disney.
Now that I’m older and more adventurous it was fun going on all the rides I would have never had gone on without my cousins. It might have been a little peer pressure but that’s what I get and without the encouragement I would have missed out. I wouldn’t have gone on a ride if I really didn’t want to don’t worry but I felt like I could handle it and I enjoyed every minute of it. I went on a drop ride, a roller coaster and one of those swing in the air kind of rides. They were funner than I thought and though I was scared and scream through some I did enjoy the thrill of it. If it wasn’t for my cousins I would have just stood around the whole afternoon but instead I experienced new things and really enjoy theme parks more now.

Outfitย Details
The top is a recent purchase of mine. I’m not usually a t-shirt wearing kind of girl but I saw this at H&M last month and I knew I was going to a theme park so I bit the bullet and bought it to wear and it turned out it was perfect for it. Then I paired it with this hood jacket with embroidery but I tied it around my waist in the afternoon and when it got chilly I can just put it on. It reminds me of what I saw at theme parks as a kid in the 90’s and early 2000’s to have a sweatshirt or hoodie tied on your waist was a big thing so I kind of copied that. Overall I think it’s a very 90’s outfit if I think so. I don’t remember the 90’s as much since I was still pretty young but looking back at pictures of the style it kind of does but I might be wrong so let me know if it’s true especially if you remember the 90’s more than me. I didn’t plan the 90’s vibe intentionally but I was so glad with how it turned out and made the outfit even cooler in my opinion. That’s why I thought it was the perfect theme park outfit!

As for accessories, I once again went with everything that could match each other. First is this blush pink embroidered backpack from Bench and I bought it right after I bought the top and hoodie. I then paired it with a pair blush pink suede sneakers and again it was a purchase influenced by the the whole outfit as it was the last thing I bought. I pretty much bought this whole outfit after I found the top and hoodie. I wanted a blush pink look and everything came together so good. As for the sunglasses and bow I already own. I bought the sunglasses a few months back and been waiting for summer to bring them out and they matched with the outfit again with the whole rose gold and pink vibes. Last is my pretty large ponytail bow and I remembered I own this and haven’t worn it in a while so I added it and tied my hair in a ponytail with it to complete the whole blush pink matchy look. I think i wore it another time here.

That was my take on the perfect outfit to wear to a theme park. If you needed an outfit idea and you’re stuck on what to wear if you are heading to one then I hoped this helped and gives you a guide on how to dress. Of course this is how I styled it in my normal girl fashion but at the same time it is pretty comfortable and I felt good wearing it that day. I obviously had a blast at Enchanted Kingdom with my cousins and though I spent the first half of the day shooting this outfit and others actually as stay tuned for Friday I created a whole theme park outfit lookbook, I still got to hang out and go on some very fun rides. So stayed tuned fro Friday as I have the lookbook going up on my channel and all the looks combined. I’ve actually posted all of them already so I think you can guess which ones they are by now but still I will have a little round up of tips on how to dress and be a little more in depth. So look forward to that but for now I hope this was helpful in case you needed a look to wear for a theme park visit soon.
