Spring to Summer
Happy Tuesday! Today is going to be another styling post and I’m styling a curvy outfit from spring to summer. I’ve always loved transition my fashion and going from season to season. For me it is already summer and so hot where I live so I already made adjustments to my wardrobe. However the other day it got cloudy and a bit rainy especially when I shot these photos. It’s like it knew I was shooting this blog post with transitional weather in mind. It turned out perfect and I was happy to get these photos for the outfit. So here is how I’m styling a curvy outfit from spring to summer.

Spring
I do love spring and all the fashion and colors that come with it. I always look forward to dressing for the season and see what new fashion trends are. I take some inspiration from everywhere when it comes to spring fashion. I have different sources and match it to my style. This outfit is very summery but I drew it back and made it appropriate for spring. I love taking my outfits from season to season and styling the pieces several ways to save money on buying clothes and get the use out of the ones I already own.
There are so many fun spring trends I want to try this year. I’m really about it and they fit my style. The patterns and colors are amazing and the different accessories that I’m seeing is so cute.
I just love spring and love dressing for it. If you want to see more of my spring looks styled and different outfits than I have them categorized into one place here if you are curious.

Layering – My first tip would be to layer. I love layering and it depends on your area how cold it may be. I added a light fluffy cardigan on top and that was good enough. You can also add another long sleeve top under this ruffle tank top here and the cardigan for extra warmth.
Spring Colors – I love adding in spring colors and embracing the pastel hues for the season. I live for all the pretty light colors and whenever spring comes around I always add color back into my wardrobe.
Popular Accessories – I added a beret that matched the cardigan so well. Also adding a hat could add extra warmth and they are such a popular accessory and so on trend for the season.
Proper Footwear – I went for sandals as they are the best spring and summer footwear and the most comfortable. It also looks so chic and a better option than flip flops as the are more formal and can be dressed up or down.

Summer
Though I love spring I am also a big fan of summer. I love both seasons to be honest and I pretty much live in a place that has spring/summer all year round. It is so fun to dress up for summer and get those bright colors in and the light materials to try and stay cool in very hot weather.
Also with summer means it is perfect to dress around swimsuits and for different summer vacation looks. I think that is why I love this style of dressing because it reminds me of going somewhere tropical. It’s my excuse to dress a little lighter and a bit more out there and be more adventurous with my fashion. Summer to me screams dressing a bit out of your comfort zone
If you are more of a summer kind of girl and want some summer fashion inspiration and different styled outfits that are sun worthy than I categorized all my summer outfits here if you’d like to check out.

How to Style
Wear light materials – In summer I like wearing light clothes. I find the most comfortable material to wear as I hate feeling sticky and having it stick to my body. It’s not for me so I go for breezy kind of cloths like this chambray skirt which if you’ve been reading for a while know it is my go to summer skirt.
Bright colors – So in spring I love the lighter and pastel colors but in summer I embrace the bright and bold colors. Of course it gives me an excuse to wear my favorite color. My summer color and one I wear year after year is hot pink and love styling.
Cool Accessories – If I love spring accessories I love the summer ones more. I’ve fallen head over heels with the statement earrings trend and the bigger the better. The tassel earrings are my favorites and love them in hot pink. Sunglasses is a crucial summer accessory for us all. I love the mirror sunglasses and I’m glad they carried over this year as I wasn’t tired of these rose gold mirrored lenses. [/right]
So that is how I’m styling a curvy outfit from spring to summer. I love this outfit and how i styled it. It’s been my go to outfit right now since it is so hot where I live. I went out yesterday and I could feel myself melting like ice cream. the day I shot these as I said there was some April showers but after that it’s been blue skies all week long. I’m hoping it stays that way as I’m of to an out of town summer getaway for my birthday coming up and I can go swimming and enjoy dressing for the summer. So I hope you enjoyed how I’m styling a curvy outfit from spring to summer and try it out yourself. Let me know if you have a go to spring to summer style outfit as well and what it is as I’d love to know. I’m going to go pack for my birthday staycation now and maybe pack this top and those earrings now.
