Outfits to Wear to a Theme Park
Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing 3 outfits to wear to a theme park I styled for a curvy girl like myself for an afternoon of fun at your favorite amusement park. I was actually stuck on what to wear when my cousin’s invited me out to go to Enchanted Kingdom. I searched online like Pinterest, Instagram and even Youtube but I couldn’t really find any inspiration especially for curvy girls so instead I created my own and this is what I came up with. I styled 3 looks which are all very different. They all have my girly fashion sense in common but one is more casual, one is fitness inspired and last is girl and a little throwback to the 90’s. I’m so happy with how the outfits turned out and I am so excited to finally share them with you!

Casual Vibes
The first outfit was my casual outfit and everyday style. If I’m not going out to take pictures for the blog and I’m just popping into town for a quick errand or an afternoon of shopping this is what I would wear. It’s very comfortable but still has that stylish element. I wanted that as comfort is key when visiting a theme park. Of course you will be standing or walking around all day in the heat so clothes that are breathable and footwear that can keep your feet happy is what I went for. I brought a cross body bag that is convenient to use and won’t get in the way and plus it will make you cut down on the stuff you bring with you so you don’t way yourself down and be carrying it around with you all day. My footwear for this look was sandals. Now this may or may not be a good choice. If you know you aren’t going on many rides and won’t be walking there for too long then you can go with this girly option. My sandals are actually pretty comfortable and I’ve used these before when I’ve walked all over the mall all day so they would hold up. It depends on you but I brought other options of course. Sunglasses was another essential I added as the sun gets in your eyes and they are a fun accessory.

Fitness Vibes
The second outfit to wear to a theme park is my fitness inspired look. I actually really like how this one came out. It is another comfortable look and I started with a tank top muscle tee which is so soft and loose so that is what I wanted especially since it was extremely hot when I went. I added the cardigan as a style element but it can be tied around the waist as well like the third look. It is a very light cardigan so I suggest one that can be easily packed away and not to tight on you so you are the most comfortable. I went with fitness leggings for this outfit rather regular leggings. I haven’t used mine before so it gave me an excuse to wear them and it made the outfit more fitness based. I love the cutout detail and the material as it didn’t stick to my legs. I feel like if I went on a water ride these would dry off so easily. For bags I went with a back pack this time. If you need to carry more stuff than a backpack is the easiest as you can just chuck it on. Mine is very girly and structured so it limits you somewhat what to carry but it still has space for a water bottle and your essentials. The footwear I went with this time is sneakers. These are the comfiest footwear I own and I ended up wearing these in the end. They are lightweight and easy to walk in so I paired it with the look. Again, I have matching sunglasses to complete the outfit.

90’s Vibesย
The last outfit I styled for a theme park is my throwback look as I call it as it is 90’s inspired. It is the most girliest look out of the three but pretty laid back. I went with a t-shirt and I don’t wear them very often but for the occasion I thought it was the most appropriate. I rolled up the sleeves on it to give it a more casual look. Then I went with white denim shorts. I mean not the most practical color especially if you’re going to be getting dirty and sitting on all the rides so maybe a different colored denim short. I just wore white as it matched and I only did it for this outfit. I ended up mixing and matching and I created a whole fourth outfit from all these looks but I thought it would be redundant to see this top with my denim jeans and white sneakers over again. I seriously just took an element from all three outfits to wear in the end around the theme park. If you get cold and plan to stay until the night then maybe taking a jacket with you. I tied mine around the waist and it added style to what would be a plain outfit. The backpack I choose was a more slouchy one and could fit quite a lot. I ended up using this and it held all my electronics and gadgets in it especially my camera so i could take pictures and of course my vlogging camera. My sneakers were so pretty and comfy but since they were new and I just bought them I hadn’t wore them in yet. I went with a pink pair of mirror sunglasses and a big pink ponytail bow. When can you wear a giant bow of this size but to a theme park? I mean if it was Disneyland you wear the ear headband so this was my version of that.

I never gave too much thought into what to wear to a theme park, but then again, I don’t think I can remember the last time I’ve been to one. A trip is long overdue and I’ll have to keep this in mind. Thanks!
