Let’s Go Strawberry Picking
Happy Friday! Today’s blog post is actually the last outfit I wore in Baguio which makes this from last year and that means I am a little behind but now I’m all caught up and this is the last of my 2017 content going out late. I only got around to sorting through my Baguio content that I haven’t already published but now that the holidays and all the rush is done that means I can focus on it better. I technically forgot about this outfit though and only remembered because I edited my outfit diary video that I shot in Baguio. Then I found the pictures so I had an outfit editing session and included this one in that batch. So I’m finally excited to show you the last outfit from Baguio which I wore to go strawberry picking in!
For my outfit I started with this pink sweater I bought in October that was intended for another outfit and I didn’t mean for it to come to Baguio with me but while I was packing I found it and thought it would be perfect. Also I was packing all the sweaters I owned anyways so it wasn’t a hard decision to pack it. I knew that days event was going to a strawberry farm and what better color to wear to a strawberry field than a blush pink sweater. I planned it but honestly I didn’t have any sweaters I hadn’t worn yet so it was the perfect opportunity. Since the sweater is an extreme v-neck I put a velvet cami underneath so it isn’t too revealing. If you can’t tell I do love anything velvet and now have a bag, leggings and this cami. My sweater is so comfy and warm but add a velvet texture cami made it even more comfortable. I paired the sweater and cami with some black jeans. I do love my black jeans with the rips in the knees and wear them so much so I finally got a pair that didn’t have the rips. I couldn’t find a pair without the rips but when I did it had buttons all the way down instead of one button and a zipper but no that it didn’t exist so I settled for these and turns out it isn’t that bad. I also got them a size bigger and they aren’t as bad either. I love them but I do love the ripped version that is tighter and more edgy. I do like the sweater and black jeans and it was such a great casual outfit.
For the accessories I kept it simple like the outfit. I mean I was going strawberry picking and touring around Baguio so nothing too over the top. First is the most noticeable accessory which was my pink headband. I got inspired by all the pictures I was seeing where girls wore this kind of head band to keep warm and though I didn’t need it for that reason it still looked cute and perfect color to match the sweater. Next is my bag which was pretty much was one of the bags I packed with me and it turned out being the bag of the trip. I love my Chloe Nile dupe and it has been my favorite everyday bag and was perfect not only for travel but just a great bag. Then we have my shoes which were one of my go to shoes from the trip. They went with everything and were okay to walk around in and went with so many of my outfits. Last are my pretty pink earrings and they matched with my sweater.

That was my strawberry picking outfit!I really enjoyed how I put this outfit together. I mean it wasn’t the most practical outfit to go to a farm but I loved it and I wasn’t there for too long. It did bring back memories since I grew up in a town in the US that is famous for strawberries and has so many strawberry fields. They even had a strawberry festival which I was lucky enough to perform at a few times. So visiting the strawberry farm in Baguio brought back memories and felt very nostalgic being at one again. So I was in awe to be at one again and getting to tell my family about it since they never visited one until then. It was such a fun day and we went not only strawberry picking but we got some lettuce and other vegetables too. I really enjoyed it and we bought some starwberry jam and souvenirs at the market as well. Another souvenir was my cousin jelly accidentally fell in a ditch walking out to the field and scratched her leg good but she is fine. So while she was shooting these pictures she was limping but we did get the shot in the end. We tended to her first don’t worry but after we made sure she was good we continued. I was actually filming and vlogging while she was behind me and luckily as I turned the camera off is when she fell in the ditch so lucky it wasn’t caught on camera. So she got that souvenir and she now hates farm life. At least she has that memory though and I asked if I could share it and she says yeah. It has been over a month since so she is all healed and fine. She also laughs about it now and we have an inside joke now. So that was our day at the strawberry field and had a great time shooting this outfit and picking strawberries. There is a vlog and you can watch my Baguio outfit diary I shot while I was there on my Youtube channel. That is it I hope you enjoyed my outfit and my day at the strawberry farm.

What kind of outfit and color would you wear to a strawberry farm?

Woah – linked over to the bag, but a bit out of my price range!! Looks like you had a great time!
It is and I'm sad I can only link the designer one. If I could link the one I own which I bought for only $20 I would as it is the best bag I own. I did have a great time though!xo Jackie
OMG…I love that purse! It's so simple but elegant at the same time, definitely something that can be dressed up or down!
Thanks! It so is and I love it. It's one of the things I love that I can use it casually and out to something fancy. It is such a good bag.xo Jackie
I love that shade of baby pink on you! So cute!xoxoAnnie
Thanks so much! It is such a fun color and I love wearing it.xo Jackie
LOL, I suppose it was not very practical for Strawberry Picking. The pink sweater would have gone okay with it.
It wasn't but I do still love it! xo Jackie
So fun! I have never gone strawberry picking before. xx,Amanda || http://www.fortheloveofglitter.com
