Fall Outfit Inspiration
Happy Wednesday! Since I can’t embrace the fall surroundings I thought I would adjust my wardrobe to add a few fall pieces in that I can still wear in the warmer climate wear I live. I’m also planning a mini winter trip to the mountains in the next few months while it is pretty cold so I wanted to see what I can add and created a few outfit ideas for it. So here is my fall clothing shopping list.
I now have an excuse to buy a few sweaters and so I have my eye on more pearl embellishment ones. Again, I love the trend so I found two more options a burgundy one and a grey one which are perfect colors for autumn. Also I do love having these ruffle sleeve tops and the only color I am missing is white and there is always room for a pretty white tee in my wardrobe.
As for bottoms I went with all the latest trends in textures. First is a blush pink suede skirt which it is the color and material of of the moment. Another is a crushed velvet skater skirt in a burgundy color and there is nothing more fall than this skirt. Last is some plain black skinny jeans. Mine have rips in the knees but I’m looking for just a classic plain style to own now. I plan to pair the pink skirt with the grey pearl sweater, the velvet skirt with the ruffle top and the black jeans with the burgundy pearl sweater. I can see the outfits in my head now and how good thy would look together.
For the accessories I picked them according to match the outfits as well. First is the bags and I am loving the bags that are popular this season. I love this grey suede handbag that reminds me of the Chloe Faye bag. I can see it looking good with the grey sweater and pink skirt. The second bag is a black patent jewel handbag that again is similar to a Bulgari bag and love the snake head jewel detail closure. I’m envisioning it with the burgundy sweater and black jeans. The next is a white studded handbag and it would look great with the white top and velvet skirt.
I’m all about hair accessories. I do love my bows but once in a while I like to trade them for hats and if it is colder weather than they are much preferred. First is this ribbed knit pom pom beanie and I’m not much of a wearer of this but I’m willing to try something new. I am thinking it would be the finishing touch to the burgundy sweater outfit. Another trend I have always wanted to try is the wool beret and how cute it would look with the velvet skirt outfit. It would look so chic. Last accessory that isn’t a hair accessory is a scarf. I was all about scarfs when I lived in colder weather and love how they can keep you warm and can be a pillow/blanket if your traveling. This pink and grey plaid pattern scarf would be so cute and a great touch to the grey and pink skirt outfit. Last is a pair of earrings that are gold glittery and in the shape of a leaf and would look good with the velvet skirt outfit.
Last are shoes and for this I went with boots. I mean it isn’t the most practical for here but I am heading to the mountains so maybe just one pair wouldn’t hurt and I could use it over again. I can’t be too excessive but I did choose three pairs to have options and I paired it with outfits. First is this grey suede criss-cross detail ankle bootie that is basic and will look great with any outfit but also with the grey and pink skirt outfit too. The next one is a black leather pearl heel ankle bootie would be perfect with the burgundy sweater outfit. Last shoe is a little out there and it reminds me of something Harry Styles would wear. I see so many fashion bloggers rock it and it does seem cool. The print of these floral heeled ankle boots are the perfect fall colors and brings in the color of the velvet skirt and earrings with the outfit I created.
Down below I linked more fall clothing favorites and outfit choices:
I added a lot of this seasons trends like velvet and suede textures, pearl embellishments, popular fall colors and that pop of red. I would love to dress more like this as this is just my style and all this seasons styles have got me swooning over them. I wish I can wear boots like I featured above more as I miss wearing them. There are so many styles I’d like to try like stilettos boots which look so chic and there is something about that street style look I’d like to try for myself. I see them everywhere on Pinterest and Instagram and the black stilettos boots in the pictures really convince me that I can do it too. The last trend I have actually been adding is the pop of red and I do love that I have been doing it in my outfits as well and these red boots look great and you can be bold and really have fun with that trend.
Those are my fall clothing picks and outfit creations. I do have a few of these pieces in mind to buy to actually recreate a few of the outfits but I have to be wise as it doesn’t get too cold so I can’t go all out like I tried to do before but there is some pieces I can still wear. I hop you are enjoying these different fashion themed shopping list picks and what else you’d like to see next. Have a lovely rest of the week!
