From Summer to Fall
Happy Tuesday! Since it is already August and fall is literally around the corner, I thought I would do an outfit inspiration post on items of clothing that can transition from summer to fall. The weather here doesn’t really call for drastic changes but I love incorporating darker colors. I can still get away with wearing summer clothes half the time but I do like the subtle changes. So I put together a few pieces of clothing that can be worn for both seasons!
There are so many different styles for both summer and fall and I love combining them. I do love the darker colors and different prints more in the fall than the summer. I dress more vibrant and bright in the summer and wear lots of pink and denim. The fall I love navy, wine red and darker prints.
So I picked a few pieces from dresslily that have some great styles for both the seasons which you can get all the trendy clothes for less and transition your wardrobe for summer and fall.
Kimonos and satin coats can be a great transition piece like this one here. The kimono could have been used as a swimsuit cover up but to take it to fall it can go over a simple outfit to dress it up especially if the print can work in both seasons. The pink satin jacket was very big in the summer so taking it to fall will be so good too and can add to the outfit especially if the color is perfect for both.
Dresses that can be both seasons will be perfect for your wardrobe. The two I picked have great prints for summer and fall. The navy dress which you can find here can be worn with tights and a light jacket. The second dress which you can find here is a bit longer. It can be a perfect sun dress for a summer wedding but also it can go all the way to fall. The dress with a leather jacket and some boots and then you have a whole new outfit for a new season. The gingham print was so popular and I think if you had one already you can style it for fall too.
As for the tops you can so transition tank tops to fall or I know I definitely can. I picked very fall colors and it would look so good with black skinny jeans or some ripped skinny denim jeans (found here.) The two tank tops (found here and here) can always add a jacket on top as well. Also I found this printed tee and a site that has the best American flag tops for sale and the style can totally go for both seasons.
Those are just some ways to transition your wardrobe for both seasons. I hope you liked my tips and picks of some clothes that you may already have or are thinking of buying a few things before the season really does change over. I enjoyed putting this together and can’t wait to start doing this with my closet later on. Let me know if you found this helpful and if you recommend any piece that I missed. I guess that is it and I hope you enjoyed your day!
