Row Row Row your Boat!
Happy Monday! It’s already June which means it is summer in most places. Unfortunately, summer is shortly coming to the end here and it is gloomy and rainy since the rainy season is coming. At least I was able to have a sun filled summer and wear cute outfits. It was my goal to have the best summer this year and I think I was able to achieve that. I was so happy going out of fashion comfort zones and styling fun outfits I thought I would never wear to the beach but this year I did just that and I’m so thrilled to share it with you. So here is one of my first beach outfits for summer 2017!
I’m wearing this rose print romper. This is my first romper and I kind of love it. It is such a nice fit and is very flattering or I think so. I’m not sure if I could see myself using it for everyday use as it is hard to take off and I know you hear it a lot it is so awkward being in a public bathroom and trying to get if off and being half naked as well. I also noticed it is a bit see through as well when I first tried it on in store. I found the perfect use out of it though and it makes it a more function piece and that being a coverup for your swimsuit at the beach. I just threw it on over my swimsuit and it looks like a put together outfit without any thought which is what I love in an outfit. Also I love the flowy sleeves but hated when they blew in the wind but I felt like my shoulders were flying. The best part of this romper though is it has pockets! So underneath is my hot pink one piece swimsuit from last season. I love that you can see it peaking through and it matches the rose detail. The accessories I paired with it is this tan bag that was inside my beach bag. It held my most important stuff so it wouldn’t get lost in my large beach bag. To match the bag I paired it with some tortoise brown sunglasses and last are my white sandals. I then paired it with some gold anchor earrings as I was on a boat all day to symbolize that and a pastel pink bow since I forgot to pack a color to match this particular outfit.
That was one of my favorite summer outfits I wore to the beach so far. I have a couple more but this was quite a fun one I styled especially for this trip. This day was so enjoyable and this outfit will always remind me of that. Obviously I took the romper off when I went swimming in the ocean. I honestly still can’t believe I swam in the ocean with the fishes and actually went snorkeling. Starfish Island was so pretty and yes I did see starfish. I looked for Spongebob but couldn’t find his pineapple house. The boatman who was with us joked that and now I think about it all the time. It was such a fun day and I have these pictures to remember it. I hope you liked this outfit and got some beach inspiration from this. Have a happy week ahead lovelies!
