Opening Pandora’s Box
Happy Monday! As promised from my birthday haul a few weeks back I would write about a few of my gifts in separate blog posts. I already did a review of the Too Faced Love Light Highlight. This time I’m going to be reviewing and talking about my first time at Pandora. This is my first charm bracelet from them and I am so happy with it. I finally started using it because I was waiting for a special occasion to wear it to and so far I have worn it twice. It’s the most expensive jewelry piece I have at the moment so I am treasuring it and only wearing it when necessary. So I wanted to write about my experience at the Pandora Philippine store and the story behind my charm.

I went to the Pandora branch in Festival Mall. I think it opened up recently. I passed it a few times and knew it was there and I said to myself I will visit one day and buy myself something there as a treat. I guess it worked because just a few days after I got back from my summer holiday to Palawan, my dad asked if I wanted something for my birthday that just passed and I of course said yes. The one thing on my list jewelry wise was to get me something Pandora.
The store was so pretty and just their interior is swoon-worthy. I had to take a picture of it and now it is one of my inspirations as it is just #interiorgoals which if you don’t believe me you can see here. The ladies were so helpful and let me see all the items and brought out my choices out for me to try them on. I started off with I wanted one of their bow rings as that was what I intended to get. The rings were just so beautiful and so dainty and just my aesthetic. I went with the rose gold as by now you can see I have a rose gold addiction right now. I soon found out the rings I wanted was a size too
small and didn’t have my size so I went with the bracelet. She helped me choose the starter and started bringing out charms for me to choose. The selection is so amazing and the whole time I was in awe of them all.
I’ve heard so many great things about the Pandora charm bracelets so now I have one. The saleslady who helped me was nice and gave me their catalog for when I want to purchase a new charm. I’ve decided when a something memorable happens I will buy a charm to represent that to always have and treasure that memory. I can’t tell you how happy I am with this and you never know I might wear this on my wedding someday.
I only went for one charm this time around. I was going to treat myself but my point of getting this bracelet was to signify an event. I wanted this charm to symbolize me as a person and this charm is me in a nutshell. I had other choices like a pineapple (because of my parent’s pineapple plantation), a happy birthday charm (as it was my birthday a few days after going to their store), a peacock charm (to represent my Palawan vacation as it was their logo and I saw so many during my trip) and then this one which I ended up choosing. It was simple enough and still help meaning to me.
This was the one I went with and in my birthday haul post I mentioned it was totally me. I was given so many options and I when I saw this we just clicked. I used to be obsessed with heart print. I kind of still am but not as big. In middle school I had everything heart print from my bag to my school supplies and it became my trademark. Next is the light pink bow. If you’ve been here long then if there is a bow I will get it and I will love it even more. Then it has this lace detail on the heart and I do love lace clothing and wear it as it is girly and feminine and I liked it had this design. Lastly it is blush pink. It’s been my color at the moment clothing wise and even though I love my hot pink but this is just more grown up. So this charm is me. Very me!
I think the next charm I have my eye on is this one here. I know it will fit in nicely and look so pretty with my current charm.
The bracelet itself is their standard starter bracelet. I just got it
in silver instead of rose gold because the charms seemed to be silver
so I went with that. The clasp is tight. They taught me how to take
it on and off but I didn’t use it right away and forgot so it took me
and my whole family to figure it out. The bad part was it was
literally as I was heading out the door for a baptism for my goddaughter
and I was so gutted I couldn’t wear it but I tried one last time and
got it on. So you get your nail in the crease and pop it open. To close
you pinch it hard together and it really is a good clasp and I didn’t
have to worry about it opening and losing.
That was my experience buying my first Pandora charm bracelet and the story behind it. If you couldn’t tell I am so in love with it and so content with my purchase. While I’m looking at it this makes me want to go back and just buy something else from them as well. So I hope you enjoyed this review of the store and the bracelet and found it helpful. Let me know if you have something from their or anything that catches your eye like mine did. Again, I would love to thank my lovely dad for getting this for my birthday. It was Father’s Day yesterday and we spent our day together and I finally got to give him his gift which was a Seiko wallet to match his watch and he has been needing a new one so it was the perfect time to get him one and add in my college grad picture in it as well. So yeah we just hung out and today is my mom’s birthday so a lot of family will be coming over and we are having a little surprise party for her so that is fun. That’s how I’m spending my long weekend since it is a holiday for me today. I guess that is it and have a lovely week ahead!
