Twenty Four | What I Wore

Princess Peach

Happy Wednesday! I’d like to share with you today what I wore on my 24th birthday. I can’t believe it is almost a month ago now but I can still remember each detail on what I did on my special day. I am so in love with what I wore and how I styled everything. I packed this in my suitcase just for the occasion as I wanted to dress up even though I packed mostly summer clothes since it was the theme of my trip. I love the millennial/blush pink trend and it is my favorite color to wear so combining it to wear in a full outfit is ideal for me. It took me a while to narrow the pictures down as I love how they turned out and I knew as soon as we were done they would be. So here are the outfit details of what I wore on my birthday!

To start off with this is my birthday dress. I’ve been saving this tulle dress for a while and I was looking for the perfect occasion to wear it. What better time than a birthday, right? I love the detailing on the waist and the pretty tulle skirt that has a silk under layer. It reminds me of a lot of dresses I had when I was younger and that makes me so happy getting to wear something like it again. It is a bit big so I should have sized down but I’m taking it into the tailor as soon as I can so I can wear it again. I didn’t want to just wear the dress so I added a cardigan to it. I bought the two separately and months apart but when I paired them together it looks like they were a match made in heaven. It is so soft and light and the perfect cardigan for a something like this. I didn’t pack any formal footwear so I went with my white t-strap sandals you will see a lot in my vacation outfit photos so be warned. They’re perfect and work for casual or dressed up looks like this. My bag is a pink stud clutch my cousin gave to me when she visited and it is a perfect pop of pink against the peach and love the colors together. For the accessories I went pretty light as I didn’t bring too many with me since I wasn’t sure how to pack them. These blush pink statement earrings look gorgeous and is the main focus that’s why I didn’t wear a necklace. Lastly a peachy light pink bow that went perfectly with the color of the cardigan. My lipstick was a combination of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes and Sydney.

That is what I wore on my 24th birthday! I have such a fun day. First off, I got to sleep in because I needed it from being tired the day before. Of course breakfast was delivered to my hotel room and I got breakfast in bed which made me really happy. I then spent the afternoon in bed blogging and watching movies with my cousin and that is really what I wanted to do. Before it was evening I got ready so I styled my hair, did my makeup and put on my birthday dress. I requested before I go out that I needed to take outfit pictures so my aunt and I went to the Puerto Princessa Coliseum since it had a pretty backdrop for pictures. I really how they turned out and here they are all complete. I went out for dinner with my aunt and cousin but also my uncle and cousin’s family. They actually surprised me and rented out the rooftop of a restaurant and greeted me with a cake and some balloons. It was so sweet since I thought we were just going to dinner but they set this all up. We got to enjoy our time talking and eating until I blew out my candles for my 24th birthday! I’m working on the vlog that will be on my channel soon so you can see my reaction. I had the best birthday being in Palawan and spending time with my family down there and getting surprised. Best. Birthday. Ever. I hope you liked this outfit and my little story of what I did on my birthday.
