Pretty Spring Makeup
Happy Friday! Before the weekend officially starts I thought I would show you some spring makeup I’ve been loving. I rotated my makeup collection recently and I’ve noticed that I added so many spring products that I’ve used for a couple of springs now and also some new products to add in as well and maybe use in future springs ahead. Some were from my recent haul and others were from my favorites and together I have used them to create my go to Spring makeup look. Now I will show you my makeup selection I am loving at the moment.
Starting with the eyes I have been in love with the LA Colors 16 Eyeshadow in Sweet and it is my go to I grab for. It is an awesome palette and gorgeous for the spring but can also be used year round as well. It has some neutral shades or some bold colors and it is mixed with mattes and shimmers for a variation of eye looks. Second I am loving long and fluttery lashes lately and I didn’t know my natural lashes were so long so finding the right mascara does the trick. I used up my last one up and since then using this one I get the hype of how lovely it is. The Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara has been giving me the prettiest lashes and I found another new favorite as it does it’s job amazingly. Last thing about the eyes is eyeliner and finally I am using a pen eyeliner again. It is a life savor and I totally miss it and glad I found this again. I’ve been using the Maybelline Hyper Sharp Wing Eyeliner and it is the perfect eyeliner to practice my wings with and I do love the cat eye flick lately and this has help me achieve that.
Now moving on to the base I have been using the same foundation as I haven’t found a good one yet. I did however found a pretty good concealer and this is another well hyped product I was reading about. It is so nice and covers up underneath the eye and covers my dark circles. The Pink Sugar Our Little Secret Concealer does a great job and I love how amazing the coverage and pigmentation has so it really does its job well. Last base product that is new to my spring makeup picks is the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder and it is so nice finally using a mineral transparent powder. I don’t usually use one and I use a pressed powder to set my makeup but after using this it does leave a nice finish. It also doesn’t leave me oily and I am learning to bake my makeup with it as it is finely milled and doesn’t leave anything behind.
Next is the contour, highlight and blush products that I have been loving for Spring. The first is this contour palette that I recently reviewed here. It has lovely pigmentation and great color pay off and is making contouring so easy. The Detail 4 in 1 Contour & Blush has been my go to contour powder if I want to go all out and contour and bronze my face. I love the warm contour shade and than bronzing up and giving more color to my face with the bronzer. The blush that has been my go to is the Happy Skin Get Cheeky With Me Blush and the color screams spring. It has a lovely baby pink with shimmer and gives a gorgeous pink flush and glow on the cheeks. The last thing is highlighting and I do love the nice glow and the trend of being so bright it is blinding. With this palette I can achieve that and it has amazing pigmentation and does so well with that. I just love that the Sleek Highlighting Palette in Solstice and the champagne golden one goes so well on me and creates the perfect highlight on me.
The last category is lips and I have a few that I have been reaching for but I narrowed it down finally to just 3 that are my Spring lip colors. The first that is my favorite and the most reached for is the Pink Sugar Sugar Lip and Cheek Tint in Pink Passion and it is the most gorgeous and vibrant hot pink. It is a matte liquid lip and last for so long without touch up. It was in my favorites for the month and I also reviewed it here. The second lipstick I am loving and included is the Maybelline Rosy Matte in Salmon Pink and it is such a lovely shade for the spring. It is a regular matte lipstick and out of the collection this is so pretty and one I’ve been using out of all of them. As for the last lipstick I do love is the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Sydney and it is the most spring color. It is a pretty light pink and it is another matte liquid lips as it is my favorite formula right now too. I love the color of this and it is of course the most cliche spring lip color which it amazing.
Those were my recent loves and my spring makeup picks. I think I’m going to do a face of the day with all these makeup items and show how I am doing makeup at the moment. I do enjoy switching out my makeup and should do it more often as I forget how many lovely things I own and hardly use. I hope you enjoyed this and let me know your current Spring makeup faves and if any of these do you use. I’m off now to enjoy my weekend and I hope you have an awesome one too!
What has been added to your Spring makeup lately?

I have heard really great things about NYX but never bought anything. I like your pics!
