Forest of Fresh Air
Happy Monday! It’s a fresh start of the week and almost the end of the month. I won’t give my month is over speech yet because I am sure I’ll make it in my favorites post soon. However speaking of fresh I think this set of outfit photos are a breath of fresh air and I mean literally since I shot them in a forest away from the city and got to take in the pretty sites and all the fresh crisp air. This was the third outfit in my back to school lookbook here and I wanted to show you the full outfit and the details too.
For the outfit this is another pretty simple one. I recently wore this combination of top here but it is so easy to wear I knew it would be perfect for throwing on when you have nothing to wear. I was getting pretty tired of always wearing my skinny jeans over and over so when my mom pulled out an old box full of all the denim I used to wear in middle and high school it gave me more items to choose from. I was all about jeans especially capri and I bought many pairs of them. The ones I ended choosing to go with the outfit are ones I had bought at Old Navy with pockets on the side and this detailing which back then I loved about them. I’m surprised they still fit and I might just have to bring some of the pairs out to see how I could style it now. The accessories I went with my stone heart necklace to match the heart print top, simple stud earrings and my black ballet flats plus it goes so well with my floral bag which is pretty big and can fit so much perfect for a school day.

That was it for my outfit! As I said this was part of my lookbook. My close friend actually suggested it after saying I wanted to shoot in a park but he stepped it up and said he knew a pretty forest if I was into it. When we got there I thought it would do. It’s actually really pretty and there is this gorgeous lake and I didn’t go all the way down there since I kind of wanted to save it for another outfit. Besides that it had nice scenery and a fun fact for you it is actually by the Philippines national prison. I was not far from where all the prisoners were staying. My mom and her siblings actually went to high school across from the prison. I mean I have no idea why there is a school right next to a prison but it is still there and people still go to it. I find it really funny and I’m sure its pretty safe (or I’m hoping it is). I actually went inside the prison to do a interview with an inmate back when I was in college. I think it would make such a funny story time though. So that was the back story to this outfit and it’s location. I’d love to know where is the weirdest place you’ve done outfit pictures if you do them or just the weirdest park you’ve been to. I think mine is pretty epic but there might be a park out there more unique than this one. I hope you liked the simple casual outfit and have a great start of the week.
