Girly Outfit for a Rainy Day | What I Wore

Girly Floral Blush Rain

Happy Friday! I thought I would show you a girly outfit perfect for the rainy season. There has been quite a big storm right now and it means the comfy clothes are in full force and layers too. I just wanted to give you an idea of what I wear on a rainy day and I did a quick video showing you my outfit in motion as well which you watch here or down below.

For the outfit since it was quite cool I got to bring out my sweater which I was obsessed with last year in the late fall. I call it my ballet sweater since I can also wear it over my leotard in class. It was multi-functional and I love that I can wear it casually or as part of my warm up clothes. Since it is pretty sheer and you need something underneath it I wore my blush pink cami. If it was super cold which it never is here I would wear something thicker instead. I worn this sweater with black leggings before, a black skirt but never with floral leggings so it still brings out the girly vibe I was going for. The only thing I don’t have are appropriate shoes when it is raining and you’d think I would have some by now with how much it rains this time of year. I was mostly inside the whole day so my sandals were good enough. The accessories are as always my everyday blush pink bag, a crystal heart necklace and spike stud earrings. Lastly a matching pink bow but I had to put up my hair in a bun later as the rain just drenched and ruined my curls.

That was my rainy day outfit. I had to go out despite the fact that I wanted to stay in bed all day and just cuddle under the sheets. It as really rainy and windy so it gave me an opportunity to wear my sweater which kept me nice and warm especially with the air condition being so cold inside the mall. Also another exciting this is since Pokemon Go launched here I got into it as well and it was an opportunity to go to the mall and see all the Pokemon roaming about. I caught Pikachu and was so happy. I thought I would get more into it but I only use it when I’m out. It’s so dangerous to have my phone out all the time  in my neighborhood that I prefer to try and use it indoors as much as possible. I get the hype and it is really fun but I rather keep my phone safe than getting those crazy things. Also since I filmed my outfit it was so hard trying to film since I discovered I was filming beside a pokestop so we had to stop and let the people pass. I finally got the video done though and went on my day. You can watch the video down below. I hope you liked my take on what I wore in th rainy weather.

Such a pretty outfit. I love that the blush pink makes it girly without being skirt or dress, sometimes I want to look girly but still have the comfort of leggings and a jumperEmily x |
