Here comes Autumn
Happy Monday! It’s beginning to look a lot like Autumn. Well the short few weeks where it is sort of rainy and gloomy out is what I consider it Autumn. I’m not saying we technically have any sort or Autumn or Fall weather here in the Philippines but I call this sort of rainy season my fall and enjoy it while I can. At the moment it has been so hard to take any kind of pictures because it has been raining so hard which is getting me so unmotivated but I’m trying to bounce back and take it to my advantage to produce content matching the weather so here we are. It’s also probably quite weird seeing me in my non normal blush outfit so hope you enjoy and get an idea of what to wear when Autumn pops up where you live.
For the outfit I’m in much darker colors than you usually see me wear. Since it is a little chilly and rainy I threw on a thicker 3.4 sleeve cardigan but I used it as a cape. I’ve seen a lot of people wear them like this so I tried it as well. I think now I should really invest and get myself an actual cape cardigan like Blair Waldorf’s one she wears for the upcoming season. Next I’m loving the basic black tank top and don’t know why I didn’t buy one sooner as it is a perfect piece to have in the wardrobe. Then the most fall colored themed clothing I own is that marsala leggings and I love they are great for any season and could be styled different ways. The accessories I have a crystal necklace, stud spike earrings and a black velvet bow because it’s the only one matches so I have to pick up some autumn colored bows. The bag is just my black satchel and I know my sandals aren’t that weather friendly but I couldn’t find any of my flats right now so once I do it is time to get them out.

That was another outfit post! I had a fab weekend and had an actual achievement of driving in Manila myself. Also it’s a big deal because if you search traffic in Manila you will see why it is a huge achievement. I’ve had my license for 3 years now I think and been driving locally but I have either driver or a family member do it for me if it is far. I’ve developed kind of a car anxiety since cars are not really disciplined here and get so close and I get claustrophobic too much. I’m not scared of driving but I get so anxious when a truck or bus gets super close to my car. It’s gotten a little better but I’ve been working through it. Well if I did it I think someone who is reading it should totally do it. I love the independence now. I was really intimidated at first but now I’m so happy I did it and actually got my drivers license back then when I didn’t have a fear. It wasn’t as hard as I was expecting it to be an I was building myself up for nothing. Actually Book Learn Pass got in touch and wanted to let you know their site is really helpful. It came at just the right time since I literally got in my car last Saturday and went on my own. I still need to get used to the other drivers but I’m so proud that I am facing a fear and getting over the anxiety that came with the traffic here. I hope you have a great rest of the week and go out there and do something new because I’m sure it will pay off!

What has been something new you’ve done in the last month?
