Happy Valentine’s Day!
Happy Friday! I’m so excited to finally share my lookbook and maybe a few outfit ideas for you to wear on Valentine’s Day. I’ve been planning this out for a few weeks now and I get to show you my hard work since this has got me out of my blogging funk. I mentioned a while back I was up and down with blogging and Youtube at the moment but doing stuff like this reminds me why I do it at the end of the day. I noticed that my Chrsitmas lookbook went down so well and my comments with my giveaway (that is still going on which you can enter here) there are a lot of you who enjoyed it so it convinced me to do a Valentine’s Day version. So enough with all my ramblings and show you my outfits which you can watch the video here or below or even continue reading to see a few pictures.
I thought I would start with some casual looks and then the more dressed up fancy ones too. All this week I’ve been loving anything pink and red so of course I based all my looks around this theme and you can probably tell after all this that the colors are so fun to style together. I styled 5 looks for different occasions and different styles if you are spending it with yourself, friends or of course your special one.
The first look is what I styled to maybe go out with your friends and partying the night away. I brought back my very bright florescent hot pink blouse, a pair of leggings and to really make it dressy a pair of black heels. The accessories just has a statement necklace and big pink bow to match plus my Juicy Couture bag in the same color to wrap it all together. The second I brought out my heart print grey dress because there had to be something with heart print for the occasion. I stayed with pretty much all grey look with a pop of pink with the bag, bow and necklace. This can be great outfit for a lunch date or a picnic at the park I feel like.
The third look I went with is another casual one. This I feel is great for going to the mall and just hanging with friends or maybe even going out to an outside cinema because the venue I shoot the outfit at had one and I thought would be the cutest date idea ever. The fourth look is my favorite and it’s amazing. This is for all the princess lovers out there and a great date idea with your prince charming. The outfit I wore is a crop top and just made the tutu skirt high-waisted and again with black heels for earlier for an extra girly look. I used the same chunky necklace as the previous look and a red clutch and bow to finish off this whimsical outfit. The last is the most simple and I feel like just a nice outfit for a romantic dinner out. It’s just a red lace dress with the same hot pink bag and sandal wedges since i had no clue what color shoe to go with the dress. If you aren’t the fussy type but want to get a little dressed up for the evening then I think this would be the perfect option.
That was all the looks in this year’s Valentine’s Day lookbook. It was so fun to put together and film and experiment with editing for this one and I’m really loving doing more fashion videos on my channel. I hope you can get some outfit ideas from this and it inspires you if you are looking for something to wear or if not than it can be used for any occasion I guess to suite you. I still have no plans on Sunday but I am happy that I kind of got to celebrate it by doing this and creating this lookbook for everyone. Well I hope everyone has a lovely day no matter if you are doing something or not.
What is your favorite outfit to wear on a day like Valentine’s?
