Winter Rose

Happy Friday! Let’s kick things off with my first outfit post for 2016. I mean it
isn’t all that fancy or anything but I am getting back into things. It
took a while but after shooting them one after another last year for
Blogmas I needed a small break to get my looks together and with my
Christmas money I managed to go on a mini shopping spree to buy new
clothes. I
hope this year brings more exciting shoots and they get better and
better. I basically been living in leggings and comfortable clothes since the holidays. I’m sure I’m not alone and a lot of us have been in this type of clothing but need to get back into a routine. I do however have a more dressed up look when I went out to an event so that will be up soon. So let’s just jump into today’s comfy outfit.

For my outfit it is pretty much all from Forever 21. They have the best basic wear and I seem to have done a lot of my clothes shopping there in the beginning of last year until I discovered more stores. My cardigan is just a v-neck ivory colored and I buttoned it up instead of leaving it open because I felt more comfortable with it that way. I also incorporated the rose quartz color with my tank top which is nice and long to wear with the leggings. So speaking of my leggings I just love the ones from Forever 21+ and they last pretty good for me and are nice and opaque and just cozy that are thick but not that thick to be very hot in. I brought back my Hello Kitty bag because it is small enough and yet big enough to store everything and even my DSLR. Also the polka dot print seemed to fit in with the outfit. For accessories all I have is my hot air balloon necklace since my nephew actually wanted me to wear it so I listened and who knew it would be a nice touch and lastly a rose quartz colored bow to match the tank top.

Well that has been my comfy outfit. I wore this out when I took my nephew to the local park in our neighborhood and instead of fully getting dressed I popped on the cardigan and went on my way. I find it so cute my nephew choose my necklace and wanted me to wear i since he loves balloons like me and since we were together I went with it. Afterwards I went on a nice walk with my dog and since it was a brisk day I think my outfit was perfect for it. Later in the evening I wore the same thing out to go my weekly food shop and to be honest I love this for exactly that. This is my go to outfit for days like this and what I can easily throw on without fussing over. Let me know what you usually wear and what comfy outfit you go for.
