Benefit Roller Lash Mascara – Review
Happy Blogmas Day 11! Today’s blogmas post is going to be another review but this time on my favorite mascara and the one I have been obsessing over lately.I’m excited to share with you as this will be my first mascara review. I know I am also late with the hype of this and it has been out for a couple months and seen so many good things but I had to jump on the bandwagon too. So here is my take on what I thought.
Since this is only the sample and not the full size I am going to review the packaging of this. I love the small sample and I find the packaging nice and I can keep it in any bag and just throw it in. I love the rose metallic gold lid and looks great as blog photography props.I’ve seen the actual packaging ad like it to.
To be fair this is the first mascara I have used with a brush like this. I usually use the ones that are straight and have smaller bristles so when I saw the shape I was excited and intrigued what it can offer me.The bristles are great and they separate the lashes quite well and combs through. It is very opaque and the blackness of it is nice and dark so it really colors my lashes in and makes it have a fuller look by it.
I think I have pretty good lashes without mascara. I can’t see mine but a lot of people want to know what I am wearing when it is usually my natural lashes. I think since I have curly hair it makes my lashes curl as well I guess so I don’t need to fuss with using a lash curler on them. I think my family are just lucky with this and if mine look nice than my male cousins are gorgeous compared to mine. They are super long too so when I do add mascara it touches the tips and sometimes I can see them. It is really crazy. I do think that my lower lashes though aren’t too good and are very sparse so I think they aren’t perfect. This is my lashes before anything on them and I never notice how black they are without anything.
Here they are after and I think they look so pretty. They curled up even more and hardly no clumping. I usually have terrible luck with clumps and spider looking lashes with a few mascaras and than this I could just comb my lashes once and they are good to go. I didn’t here for the review to show the actual results but it would show how it applied to me. I really like them and it stays on all day and doesn’t mark my under eyes or my eyelids so that was great. I love the end results after a few coats.
I enjoyed this very much and can see the hype of why a lot of others liked it. They keep the curl and they make them nice and volumized which is what I like. It doesn’t smear and stays on for so long. The removal is quite easy and can get everything off with a eye makeup remover. It looks like I am wearing false lashes and just gives all the fullness which is what I need since I am terrible with adding actual false ones on myself. I think I would be buying the full sized one and I think it is quite great even or the price I think I can splurge with it.
My rating is: ♥♥♥♥♥
I would have to give it a five. I usually never give a five rating and if you look through my beauty review archives than it is rare for me to give that kind of rating because I am very fair and if I know it doesn’t deserve it I will. I do it with beauty products, books and movies so it is really a big moment if something gets a five for me. I don’t see know fault for me and with using it the past few months every time I want to wear mascara than this does perfectly for me. I think right now this is my overall holy grail at the moment and don’t think I have anything the same for this. So my go to mascara for a while until I try a new one.
That was my blogmas post for today. I hope you liked it even though I know it is an overused post and you have probbaly saw so many reviews about it by now. I wanted to give in my two sense with it though. I also thought everyone needs a great mascara this time of year to help with false lashes and bring out those eyes especially with all the fun smokey eye looks hat are perfect for this season. Let me know your thoughts on this and what your fave mascara is either drugstore or high end. See you in tomorrow’s blogmas post. Only 14 days!
