What’s on my iPad Air?
I wanted to write more lifestyle posts as I said and I figured since I have been obsessed with watching these sorts of videos on Youtube so I thought I would do a blog post about it and show you what is on my iPad Air as it has been my favorite device I own and never leaves my side since I got it. I wanted it for so long and when I finally got it my life improved so much as I do so much on it.
I got my iPad Air 32gb through a cellular company in the Philippines called Smart through one of their plans and it made it so much easier than buying one outright. I paid 2,300php all together including the cash out and also the first months bill. It was a simple process and the only downside was they promised me a unit after 2 weeks to a month but it turned out to be 3 months before getting me a unit. They made up for it as I didn’t have to pay a huge down payment and now I am paying about 2,100php a month for unlimited data and fast LTE service. It’s a good deal and I just love using it!
My wallpaper can be found here if you are wondering and I want to thank Carrie for making this pretty background for all devices as it is my wallpaper on my iPhone and also my laptop so the all can match and I have this weird thing where I like having my things match so this does it for me. I’m always looking for some nice pretty wallpapers so if you have or know of any please let me know. Also if you have any pretty pink cases I am addicted to finding a new case and the perfect one.
Now let’s see on what exactly I have on my iPad Air!
On the first page I have the basic apps on the top half which are standard. I don’t have any folders on the front and I like having the basic ones still there as when I first got it and it is the same as my iPhone which I wanted both to match because you just get so used to it being where it is and I automatically just press the button on memory now. I like how I organize my apps and this is just my take on it so now here are the apps:
Social Media Apps
Twitter | I like the official titter app and I’m always stalking and I love to see what is going on. I don’t tweet as much as I want to and I’m trying my hardest to tweet more often. I also will love if any of my readers would come say hi and we can be friends on there. (Shameless plug but you can follow me here)
Facebook | I use Facebook to stay up to date with my fashion school friends and basically use it for that only but I do put up pictures of my travels. I created a blog centered Facebook since I didn’t want my college friends to know but I use it far more often now and it doesn’t have much spam so I can bare the site. (Shameless plug but you can follow my blog’s Facebook page here)
Google | I love googling things and when ever I have a question I just Google it so it comes in handy.
Pinterest | My Pinterest app is one of my most used apps on the iPad and this is the only device I like using it on. I can spend hours strolling through picture after picture and it keeps me entertained when I am super bored and I’m on the go waiting for something. (Shameless plug again, you can follow my boards here)
iBooks | Another reason I wanted to buy an iPad was for it to be an eReader and I didn’t want a separate one at the time so this would do. I have it on the iPhone and it is so small to read so I knew the iPad would be amazing for this. I read over 30 books last year on it alone and I’ hoping to beat it this year and yeah you can say you don’t get the real book experience but I don’t really mind anymore as I have been enjoying reading a lot more lately.
Youtube | You have to have this app if you are addicted to watching Youtube videos like me. I can spend half m Sundays just snuggled in bed with my iPad catching up on my Sub Box and I enjoy it. I hope to start one day and I have my own channel but still haven’t got the courage to start yet.
Blogging Apps
Blogger | Being a blogger and having it hosted on Blogger I wanted the ap and though it isn’t the best it still does help and I just have it in case I need to write up a post on the go or if I need to see something I forgot to do on my laptop. It isn’t that bad to use for me and I don’t know why some people don’t like.
Bloglovin’ | My thrid most used app I think and I just love catching up on my feed in the evenings while I watch TV. I try to comment on all of them every night but I do end up skipping a few nights if I get busy but it is a great app to unwind and support my fave bloggers. I also have an account you can follow me on if you like so here’s another Shameless plug to follow me here.
Posts | Another app that is so nice to do blog posts. It has better formatting and is similar to use I feel like. I was recommend this by another blogger and I love it so if you don’t have this you need it to do blog posts as well.
The second page is where all my other apps are on. I don’t like having more than that so it is easy to scroll through. This is where I keep my folders to and I like keeping them organized as much as possible. I didn’t have room on the first page so I have 4 major apps I use to much to be put in folders.
Write | This is my writing app I use the most and I write notes, novel excerpts, my thoughts and pretty much anything as it goes directly to my Dropbox and uploads right away to my laptop so I can transfer it right away. I downloaded it on my iPhone at first when I was still in lectures in college and now I still like using it even though I have so many word processor apps.
Spotify | I have a free service for Spotify and I just love listening to music on my way to class and when I am writing so I love having this on and I prefer it on the iPad than my phone as I cant pick a song not like this one.
Instagram | Of course I downloaded Instagram and who doesn’t have it on their device. It is another fave ap of mine and I use it quite a lot as well. (Another shameless plug but you can follow me on Instagram here)
Padgram | Since I get annoyed at Instagram not being full screen I have this app that was recommend to me by the App Store and it is okay and I find works great even though you dont have fast internet.
School Apps
Pages | Keynote | Numbers | Word | Powerpoint | Excel | Dropbox | Hp ePrint | Navy Federal
In my first folder I have what used to be my school folder which I used to use a lot but now it has been pushed to the back burner as I don’t have to take so many notes and do many papers in lectures anymore so I just leave them be. I have the Apple and Microsoft version just to have a double. Then I have my Dropbox to transfer files, my printing app and my banking app.

Lifestyle Apps
Wattpad | I love reading other writers works and with me being a creative writer myself I gain inspiration and find some great stories on here I used to be a big fan of fanfiction.net and writing my own stories so this reminds me of that and I have been writing a few stories for it as well.
Goodreads | To accompany my iBooks app I have a Goodreads account to help me keep track of books I am reading and want to read. I am a huge reader as I said and this is suh a helpful app to find new books and see what others are reading.
Hootsuite | This is to schedule tweets as I normally just use the Twitter app but I do like this for chats if I remember to join.
PS Express | I like this to edit pictures in and I used this once before to blog from my iPad and it is quite useful and it isn’t the same as the actually Photoshop but it is close and I still can use it when I want to blog and didn’t have my laptop with me.
Line Camera | I use this to edit if I don’t have my iPhone with me and only take a picture with my iPad. I like using this as it has great filters and cute quirky things I can add if I wanted to.
VSCOcam | This is just the extension but I use it on my phone a lot o it is just a backup on here if I ever need to edit.
Wunderlist | This is a lifesaver ad so handy with all my blog lists, to do list and stuff I need to do in my personal life. I think I am going to be adding this into my blog routine post as well.
Sketchbook | I like to draw and I saw this free one day on the App Store so I downloaded it and it is quite handy and I’ve been trying to use it for sketching y outfits and some fashion designs so it helps me practice and plus it is good for my cousin to draw on when she comes over since I have no kid friendly apps on here.
Game Apps
Happy Forest | Farm Heroes | Candy Crush | Family Guy: The Quest For Stuff | The Simpson’s Tapped Out | The Sims: Freeplay | Mystery Crime Scene | Village Life | Frozen Free Fall
I don’t usually play too many games but I do have a few. So the first three were games I was addicted to when I first got the iPad as my dad loved them too and I was always playing with them on his tablet so I decided to download them and only pay them now when I am bored and have no internet access. The next three are my most played games and I am still playing them at least once a day. I really like these kind of games and I don’t mind waiting long hours as I play them and come back at a later time when they are finished. The final three are actually games I play on my iPhone too so the Mystery one is far more advanced on the other one but I play it once in a while here too. I used to be so addicted to the last too as well but I gave up as well. I am going to keep them for now and when I need space or something these would be the first to go. Let me know if you have any fun games I need!
Extra Apps
Square Size | Messenger | Skype | Femme de Pivot | VLC | Vdownloader | MP3 Music | Buqo | Zinio | Canva
So my last folder has some extra apps that came free with the App Store and I just threw them in this folder so it is kind of like my junk drawer. I have a few random apps from Apple, I have a few apps to download wallpapers, my banking app, 2 magazine apps which one for local ones and the other for international magazines and then I have a mp3 downloader and video downloader for my little godson’s videos to keep him entertained and in case we are in an area with no internet this comes in handy. I also have Messenger and Skype in here as I don’t use them too often but they are still necessary. Please tell me I’m not the only one with a junk folder with apps you can’t seem to get rid of.
That’s everything I have on my iPad and I hope to further expound on it with how I use it to blog with in a future blogging routine post. If you have any apps I need to know about or I am missing I’d love to know as I have more space and love finding new ones to keep me busy. Hope you enjoyed this and if you have a post like this I’d love to read it.
