Polka Dot Picnic – What I Wore
Travel Lookbook {Day 5}
Happy Tuesday! If you missed yesterday’s blog post I wrote about my travel diary in which I went on a picnic with my family. It was quite fun and this is what I wore when I went. I wasn’t sure exactly what I should wear as I didn’t know an appropriate outfit but I covered my basis with comfy, a little casual with a little bit dressed up as well. So this is what I ended up with.
I actually started off with these comfy polka dot pants which are easy to move in and looked a little more dressed up. I wore this previously in a very casual way sort of like pajama bottoms and I dressed it up with heels. I like that they are so versatile and they are a dream to wear. To top it off I added this cream peplum top as I’ve been so into the peplum style lately. It wasn’t a very good choice to wear such a light color as we were climbing tires and roaming the park but I didn’t mind and it was the only other neutral colored top I packed. My bag is my cousin’s she let me borrow before we left the house and my shoes are my trusty sandals which it was really hard to wear when you are running around and swinging on tire swings, next time I know to bring comfortable footwear to a picnic. No accessories this time around except for my sunglasses.

That had been my picnic outfit which I know now to wear something more comfortable and an outfit like you are just going to a park. I did like my outfit though and I did love wear I shoot it as the sun was hitting the tire park just right and made the lighting effect much cooler. I hope you enjoyed this outfit and I have one last one in my Travel Lookbook which I am kind of sad it is ending but I have already have a few outfit posts coming up and they are all so spring inspired as the weather is amazing right now.
