My Blogging Space & New Blog Design
Happy Thursday and today I wanted to show you a sneak peek of where I blog. I’ve seen these on other blogs and I just love being nosy and see a glimpse of how they blog. This is a little overview of my desk area and hope you enjoy the mini tour.
Now my desk is small and not realty exciting but I just wanted to show you a peek of where I blog and where my creative juices are when I am blogging. I just have my essentials so my laptop and my sometimes my DSLR which is pretty much the main equipment besides my iPad and iPhone that sometimes sits there too. I have a desk organizer which I got in my stationary haul which you can see that there and a few fashion books stacked underneath it which you sometimes see in my blog pictures. I also have a few trinkets displayed to the side and lastly my jewelery ballerina girl stand I got for Christmas recently. It is nice to hand all my everyday jewelery and my little hippo earring holder is beside that. Behind my desk is my bulletin/cork board which I put pictures, hang tickets and little keepsakes on it for inspiration too. I really like this new addition and in the very back is where all my beauty product lay but it really isn’t organize so you wouldn’t want to go back there. It’s really simple and only a sneak peek as I’m planning on redoing it again soon.
If you couldn’t tell fashionxfairytale got a makeover and the lovely Giada from Miel Cafe did a wonderful job. I thought it was time for a little update and I search high and low for one that I knew I would be happy with for at least the remainder of the year. I am so indecisive about my design and I am such a perfectionist that I have to mess with the design at least twice a year or sometimes more. I’ve been blogging for almost 4 years now in June and I wanted a little revamp for that and next month is my birthday month so I wanted a little early treat. I love reading Giada’s blog and I scrolled down to see who did her blog design as it was so pretty and I found out she does and has her own shop selling customize and premade templates. I thought long and hard but I knew I wanted her to be the designer I just kept going back and forth if I wanted a fully customized or her Flora one of a kind template. I ended up getting the Flora template and I will hold up on a custom design right now and maybe treat myself when fxf turns 5. It was one of a kind anyways so no one will have it and that was my only concern as I wanted something unique and my own. I did have her do a color change as I still wanted my color scheme and she made that happen. She was so kind in answering my 50 million questions I threw at her since it was my first time purchasing something like this and she was helpful throughout the way. We both worked on how I wanted it to look even thought it wasn’t a custom one she did make sure it was what I wanted. In the end I think it is so pretty and fits me perfectly. She did a great job and I recommend her to do yours if you are looking for a blog redeisgn. She has many premade templates and has options for her custom work. Thank you Giada for your lovely work and it was lovely working with you to make my blog pretty as can be!
You can find her amazing lifestyle blog which I love all her outfits and her recipe post here and her photography is so amazing and beyond words perfect. Her design shop which is on Etsy can be found here if you want to purchase anything.
I hope you liked taking a glimpse at my blogging space. I also hope you like the new blog design because I love it so much I sometimes can’t help but stare at it. Let me know where you blog and what your desk space looks like if you have one? Mine may not be pinterest worthy just yet but I am having fun being a little creative with what I got. Hope you all have an amazing day!
