Hi Lovelies!
I can’t believe September has come and gone. I am sad that it went so fast! But I am so excited to post my first favorite post. I have been actually waiting for this month to end so I can do this post so I have very mixed feelings right now! Okay, I have taken all my favorites this month and really actually tried to interview them! hehe I am crazy but i asked it why it was my favorite and when I liked their answer (me talking to myself) I included it. Enough with that I want to start.
So, on to my favorites.
1. The Body Shop: Strawberry Body Butter
I have always wanted a body butter and I had to splurge and get one last month! I went through all their scents and the one that stood out most to me was the strawberry! I did like the others but I really wanted a sweet and light scent on that day which resorted to this buy. I put it on after I take a shower and before I go to bed so sometimes I do both. I like the scent but it gets overpowering if your not use to strong lotion scents. I like it thought and it makes a better perfume I think. It lingers on your skin with just the right amount. And plus it makes my skin very soft after the 3rd time I used it. I also for got to take a picture of the actually product but when I do a review I will surely include it.
2. Veet: Hair Removal Lotion
I had used this product before but I stopped and started shaving with an electric razor instead. But this month i decided to have hair free legs and if I wanted to achieve this then I would use this. This was the first time I used the regular one but when I went to the drug store then only had the Sensitive one. I kind of got used to the other one and found out it was okay so I had bought 1 small and 1 large tube of this. After trying it I like it and it does great with my legs.
3. Herbal Essence: None of your Frizzness Shampoo and Conditioner
This was the first month I tried this shampoo and conditioner set. I love Herbal Essence but have never tried any other set. I usually go with Totally Twisted because I am curly and it makes my hair curlier. I kind of liked it but It never reduced my frizz! So when I saw this at a local drug store I got it just to try it and I needed more shampoo. I tried it a week later and after I woke up in the morning I saw the difference right away! I didn’t have tiny baby hairs poking up nor did it shoot out in a lot of different places. I brushed through it gently and it stayed calm. With my contented locks I left them down all day at school. I hate when its down cause It can get crazy but it didn’t and it was smoother. I love the scent and the formula so I have found my new shampoo and conditioner set.
4. St. Ives: Apricot Scrub
This is my favorite every since I used it on my face. I just fell in love with how smooth my face felt after I used this scrub. I never used a scrub before so this was my first. I just randomly picked it up. After I got into blogging I discovered this was a great product and highly recommended. I agree it is totally worth it. I still have a few blackheads though but a dab of this on a newly sprouted blemish made it go away the next day. I was so amazed I had to do a review so I will post it soon. The scent is okay and the texture is very funny. I hated the texture at first cause it felt weird on my face but I got used to it and its my favorite scrub of all time!
5. Maybelline: Great Lash Mascara in Brown
I do not wear make up every day but I do put on some mascara and lip gloss. I love this for just everyday looks cause it doesn’t make it too dramatic for school and plus when I wash my face at night it comes off easily. I do have other mascara but it just too bold for me on simple days when I am not in the mood for any makeup application.
6. BNC Nail Polish in Nude
I am so in love with this color! I followed the trend and bought this nail polish in a little boutique at the mall. I love that its opaque after 3 coats and not like my other light colors take forever to become a decent opaque coat.
7. Lush: Whip Stick Lip Balm
I have been enjoying this on my lips. I apply it right before my lip gloss and it makes my lips soft and tasty. I love the chocolate smell of the lip balm and it has a hint of mint to it or something like that.
8. Garnier: Light Roll-on
I use this practically every morning. Its a great way to wake up your eyes. It did improve my dark circles under my eyes but not dramatically. It was lightened and reduced but still are there. Even though it might not go completely it still gives a boost of energy to your eyes.
9. Revlon: Age Defying
On days I can’t stand my dark circles from staying up super late when I have class early the next morning I have to cover them up. This is my first concealer and I can say its good. Its all I have so no choice but I do thing concealer has become a favorite makeup product of mine.
That was my favorite products of September! I enjoyed writing this post and taking the photos of the products. I think I could get better with the flash and angles though.
I am working on some reviews. I just haven’t finished but I am almost done with 1. I have like 5 on draft. I just need to take better quality photos using my slr to get better swatches and basic pictures as soon as I find the charger. And if you have a September Favorites post or video I would love to see it. I love reading/watching them!
What was your favorite product this month? Leave it in the comments!
