24 Lessons I Learned in 24 Years

My 24 Years!

Happy Birthday! To whom you may ask? To me! It's my birthday today and while you are reading this I am in Palawan basking in the sun, surfing the waves or just spending it by the pool. I don't know yet as I am writing this in the past and I'm not sure what is happening on my actual birthday and I don't have any clue what I will be doing but I hope I'm somewhere on the beach or being a tourist however for right now it's almost 5am and I'm sitting here typing this blog post. Today's blog post is a bit deep and I thought I could try something different. I honestly didn't have an idea what to post for today as I'm away but I've seen a lot of variations for this blog post and I thought since it's my birthday and I'm turning another year older I would write 24 lessens I've learned in my 24 years of existence. This is my version.

1. Don't worry about the size of your butt.
It's a funny one. After all this time I've come to terms and accepted I have a big butt. I can even joke about it now. When I was younger I hated the kids who would make fun of it because it was of bigger size. I wouldn't fit into normal size clothes because of it. I absolutely despised it whenever I saw it in a mirror. I cried so many hours about it and swore when I was older I would find a way and get plastic surgery to reduce the size. I was that miserable with it. Now it's popular. People are getting plastic surgery to add a big butt when I was wanting it gone. There are so many models now who are proud of it and it's accepted. I thank Kim Kardashian a little because without her I don't think I would ever see my butt as a blessing. It's so weird how the thing I hated the most about my body is now celebrated and people compliment me on it when all they did before was make fun of it. I wish I could tell my younger self who was crying in her room that one day you would feel a different way about your butt and I would tell her to cheer up and when that day comes you will feel so much better about it. The lessen I learned in my 24 years of life is accept who you are because no one else will accept your flaws but you. Now I'm going to go celebrate my butt and twerk on the dance floor tonight.

2. Don't be someone you're not.
I have an active imagination so that's probably why I'm so creative. I always imagined my life as something more than it is and I created a person that I'm not. I did this a lot when I was younger and I would exaggerated the truth to make myself seem more fancy to gain more friends and for people to like me. That leads me to my next lessen though. I would like something I didn't just to hang out with my friends. I would mold myself to fit in and slowly I lost track of who I really was. It's a scary feeling and I'm sure a few of you did the same. I tried so hard being someone I wasn't that I missed out on a lot of things and maybe meeting the right people if I hadn't of made myself into someone I thought I needed to be.

3. Stop thinking about what people say about you.
This one was one of the hardest lessons I had to learn over time. I still struggle with it but it isn't as bad as when I was in school. I had such a hard time as I needed to know what they thought about me and I needed to change myself to make them think highly of me. It was a viscous cycle and it is so toxic. I know a lot of us need to work on it. I need to but as I'm getting older I'm less bothered by what others are thinking and I'm just trying to do my own thing.

4. Don't take things for granted.
I learned this quite recently actually. Its hard not to take things for granted. Time is precise. Spend time with those you love and live each moment. You never know when it will be gone. As you do get older it hits you harder that time moves faster than you thought and so I learned that nothing should be taken for granted now.

5. Don't let that moment pass you by.
This kind of goes with the one above. Do not let go of an opportunity even if it scares you. Live in that moment and enjoy every second. I'm hoping my beach holiday will make me realize this even more and it will let me enjoy every second.

6. Think more about yourself.
However don't be too selfish. Sometimes you have to think about yourself and your priorities. You can get so caught up with helping others you don't see yourself improving or worst of all get taken advantage of. I love helping others and do so much for them that I forget I should be looked after too. So once in a while put yourself first and do what benefits you.

7. Never look down on anybody.
Just never do it. It hurts and yeah we occasionally do it and I did it a lot in high school but you learn that it won't benefit you at all. It's better to empower then look down and especially now that it is more public. Plus it will make you feel so much better to compliment a person instead of treating them badly.

8. Be grateful for the time you have with someone.
This one hit home with me especially with my grandmother passing last year. It's important to cherish and not hold a grudge. I spent everyday with my grandma and when they are gone you realize how special and close you are. I'm glad I had a bond and got to spend so much time so now I try and spend all my time with those close to me because you never know and at least you'll have the memories.

9. Look on the positive side.
I a, such a negative person when bad things happen or not go my way. I'll look more on the negative side when things don't go my way and it is so hard to look on the bright side as I don't want to get my hopes up so I'll just focus on the bad more than good. So now I try to be more bright and stay more positive becuSe it does make the situation more lighter.

10. Take a walk to clear your head once in a while.
Plus it is good exercise. Lately when I need to clear my head or get away from working at home I've been walking around my neighborhood. It just makes things seem clearer and I get so much more work done. It's also quite inspirational and I get my blog ideas or anything I need to get done that way. So a good walk around the park or just anywhere close really has helped and so important to stay active.

11. Have a good cry before bed.
I learned this is so helpful. Yes it might be sad and so tragic but crying in your bed after something really does take the pressure off. It got me through so much and by the next morning I feel so much better and forget I even cried or sometimes I forget why I was really sad. It takes the pressure off and letting out emotion helps me so much. If your scared to cry in public and just need to really stress or anger I find having a good cry or crying yourself to sleep does wonders. If you ever need to don't be afraid to do so. I'm telling you you'll feel so much better after.

12. Laugh like your going to get abs.
This is a very important lesson I learned and probably the best advice I can give. Laugh. Alway laugh. It is so good for you. I get laughing fits so often and I always feel the happiest during and after them. Laughter is so important so make it a part of your life and if you laugh hard enough maybe your abs might peak through one of these days from it.

13. Do that thing you've been putting off.
There is always something we have at the back of our mind that we want to do but just leave it behind and go on with everyday things. Let it out one day. Go on that hike to the waterfall you heard about. (I finally did) or go to a cooking class. Whatever it is find time to do that thing because you never know you might enjoy it and regret not doing it sooner. I think this lesson has gotten me to do and to go places I would have never thought. So go do that thing you promised you would do but didn't.

14. Seek adventure in little moments.
This lesson goes with the one above a little bit. I am such a scardy cat and would never do something because of fear. Then I went out and did small things. Soon I was hiking down a mountain, through a small bamboo bridge to see a waterfall for the first time. I went on a hanging bridge even though I was scared of heights. Went on a water slide and actually went on every slide at that water park. I don't think I would go to adventurous after that but something small especially in little moments you never thought you would.

15. Respect your elders.
I mean this is a given but whatever you do just respect them. They have so much wisdom and even though their stories are repetitive and they don't agree with your ways just look past it. This is the lesson I will always cherish and so grateful my parents enstilled and taught me manners and respecting those older than you. It's a very important o lesson and have in your life.

16. Believe in something.
Anything. Believe in something you are passionate about. I believed in writing this blog and it led me here to doing things I never thought I could. I think that lesson of believing does work and if you have drive and passion and just pour your heart into something big things can happen. Whatever it is you believe in just keep believing just keep it up.

17. Follow that dream.
Again like the above lesson, follow that dream big or small. I thought of this one because I saw the quote stop dreaming and start doing. If you have that dream than chase after it. I am and I am the happiest of doing it. I learned to be happy and even though I might not reach it the second I start at least I started it and hopefully one day achieve it. So stop what you're doing and follow whatever dream is in your head.

18. Do whatever it is that makes you happy.
Do it. As Shia Lebuff said in that commercial thing; just do it. Do whatever that makes you happy and think about yourself that will make you smile. I believe in this one so much and when I realized it and I was the only one that will make me happy I did it. I did buy that bag I was lusting after for months and it made me so happy. I believe in the little things and those small moments make me happy. Now I realized I do whatever it takes to keep me happy. I try not to worry too much even though it is still hard but I do the things that bring a smile to my face and that raises my mood. Writing this blog post made me happy so I did it and felt so good while doing it.

19. Wear what makes you feel the best in.
Another one I recently learned and in my 24 years I think this one finally makes sense. Being of bigger size I was so self conscious of everything I was in. I bundled up even on the hot days because I didn't want anyone to see my real size. I didn't feel confident and wore whatever would hide any flaws I had. It was a struggle and now looking back I regret the pictures because I look even bigger than probably what I actually was because of the layers and huge sweaters. I didn't feel good in anything. Then I started ballet class again in my twenties. It was a start and soon I started to learn to be proud of what size I was. I saw and read so many other girls my size or sometimes bigger or smaller and they worked it. Then I because more and more body positive. I started losing the layers and finding my style. I like to think fashion blogging helped with this issue and seeing others helped inspire me. Now I'm wearing clothes I would never have worn back in my teens. Now i can wear backless tops without batting an eye, short dresses to show my legs and even sleeveless tops that I would have never thought I would leave my house wearing one since I hated my arms. I learned to accept and just wear what makes me feel good and I'm much happier. I'm wearing my swimsuit in blog pictures and I never thought I would do that as well. It's fun to see how much I changed for the good and I'm glad I got to where I am with body positivity. So go out and just wear what you think is best because when are you going to wear that mini dress or bikini. Do it now and not regret it when you are older. Your body might be the best now but at least it won't be as bad as your old age one.

20. Remember what keeps you grounded.
With all the popularity nowadays I wonder how others stay down to earth. I've met a few celebrities and top bloggers and some just seem so high of them selves. I mean not all are but with it being so much more easier to get famous now it seems like people lose where they came from. That's why for me I try and just not notice all of that and jump on the hype. If you are in the position than stay who you are and don't let it get to your head. Even though I'm doing pretty good in my family and make a decent wage I still am who I am. Some of my other family don't though and lose who they were because of money and get boastful. So for me no matter what I remember that being grounded is better than floating to the top.

21. Never lose track of what drives you.
Also never lose that fire. I heard that expression so many times but never really got it until I applied it to myself. I have been doing so much more now that I know what I want and figure how to get it. I set goals and help myself to work out how I'll get there to the end result. I learned that whatever it is just keep going and whatever it is that pushes you then keep at it.

22. Be strong and capable of anything.
Keep this thought in your head. It sure has helped me to learn that you can do that thing and you are strong enough for anything life throws at you. Whatever obstacle it is just think that you can do it and if you can do that thing you wer afraid of then you can do anything your mind wants.

23. Stop and reflect once in a while.
With everything being so fast paced right now it is so easy to get caught up in the lifestyle of going and going and then we wear ourselves down until we can't anymore. I learned to take a break and reflect the decisions that need to be made. There are moments that go so fast and we forget about that so make sure if you there is a chance take it and assess your choices.

24. Just be you.
Lastly, just be yourself. There is no one like you in the whole world so stop trying to act differently to impress someone or make up a story that you are like this or that. I learned that being yourself is the best thing and once you are in tune with yourself and appreciate your work you learn to realize that you are you and that is the best feeling. It may take a while to learn this and maybe sometimes I forget as well but at the end of the day there are only one of us. So just be you boo and do whatever it takes to make you happy and what gives you the motivation to figuring out and being yourself.

I hope if your younger you would learn from my mistakes and take these lessons for your own lives or if your older or my age than you can maybe relate to a few of these or had similar experiences where you learned later on that its just not worth it. I'm going to learn a lot more and probably make more mistakes and learn from those too but so far in my 24 years of life this is what I took from it.

Those were the 24 lessens I learned in 24 years.

What one lesson do you treasure from your life?

Easter Dress 2017 | What I Wore

Easter Pattern

Happy Monday! Also happy belated Easter! It's time to show you my Easter dress again. Ever since I was a little girl my mom bought me an Easter dress every year and I would get studio pictures done in them. It was sometimes also my birthday pictures too as it falls around the same time but I always remember that. Now I kept the tradition and every year on my blog I take pictures in front of my parent's house or on their balcony and show off the current year's dress. I listed all my previous ones before if you'd like to see those. So let's see this year's choice!

For my Easter dress I went with something I already had in my closet and wore it once before here on the blog but in a more summer fashion. I forgot about it and need to wear it more often so I made it the dress I wear for Easter this year. I kept it really simple with a white cardigan to make it more dressed up and some caged sandals. I put my hair in a bun and a blue bow and that is it for the whole outfit!

I wish I would let you know what I did on Easter but I am writing this in advance. I did pack this however and will be wearing it so at least you saw what I wore. I can't wait for a different kind of Easter this year but there will be chocolate there is always choclate involved. I think that is it and another year to cross off for the dress I wear on Easter. I hope you enjoyed this and have a great week ahead!

How to Pack a Carry-On Suitcase

Airplane, Here I Come!

Happy Friday! If you're reading this right now, I'm on a plane heading towards somewhere tropical! I had this trip planned since September and now that it's here I'm really excited for it. Since I had it planned for such a long time now it makes it easier to get organized and pack ahead of time. I've had so many ideas in mind for the trip and it made it less stressful that everything was planned ahead. Today I'm sharing how I pack my carry-on suitcase for a beach trip.

I'm taking both a carry on and also checking another bag as well because of all the outfits I'm taking I needed two. This is the carry on version and later on I'll show you the main luggage one and what I should and shouldn't have brought when I get back. I decided to split them up just in case the airport has lost my checked baggage or it didn't make it to my destination on time. As it got closer it was harder to pack for the trip because I wasn't sure and I needed to go out and buy a pair of shorts and new flip flops and final details I forgot about. Make sure to be a little more strategic about all the outfits and go shopping on time because that is where it got frustrating for me. The last minute stuff ended up going in my carry on so I'm glad I left some space.

The right side of my suitcase has a zippered closure and in there I kept some wedges, my camera bag and one piece to my luggage organizer set. They really come in handy and it has spare clothes in this one. Also I packed on the right side:

- Extra underwear and a change of clothes
- Set of pajamas
- Flip-Flops
- Headphones for the plane
- A small zip bag with travel-sized essentials: sunscreen & lip balm
- Gadgets (iPhone, iPad with chargers)
- Camera Bag (DSLR, Vlog Cam & GoPro)
- any travel documents

I also take anything valuable with me in my carry on as I want to make sure I have it at all times.

My suitcase doesn't look really full of neat as I just needed the essentials and the overflow of my suitcase. It's actually a lot more compact when it is packed up to save space but for pictures I left a lot of room. So here's what I have packed in the left side:

- Bag of choice
- Beach bag
- Sunhat

I'm traveling with a handbag but I put stuff inside to help it keep it's shape and it leaves me with more space and to take more stuff. I also put my beach bag in as I didn't have any room in my checked in baggage but I also have a few things in there as well.

I would have packed my laptop but I'm not taking it on this trip but it would go in it's case on the right. In the net zippered compartment to the right I put my headphones, a H&M luggage tag I bought that need to put on and also this compartment is the perfect place for socks. I might add in a few snacks too as you never know and it will make the wait for the flight a little bit quicker if I had my fave junk food. That's the overview of all that is in and it probably will be a little neater once I reorganize it one more time before I leave for the airport.

Also I had to include this shot of Angel peaking around the suitcase. She is so upset I'm leaving and hates seeing suitcases out. Once she sees a suitcase she knows someone is leaving and it breaks my heart. Even though I love traveling it is so sad to leave her. She walked over to me as I was on the floor packing and sat down beside me and put her chin on my lap. I burst into tears and felt so bad but I promised her I will video call her whenever I get a chance. Maybe I might bring her back a treat and souvenir too.

That is what I packed with me in my carry on! I hope you got inspiration from this and it helps you in case you are jetting off somewhere soon. All the posts from this point on will be scheduled so I hope you enjoy all the content I wrote before I left. I'll leave reminders in each post but this is just letting you know I am somewhere by the beach right now and will tell you all about it when I get back. Let me what's in your carry-on and what essentials you had to have to give me inspiration for next time I travel and any experiences you had at airports as those are always fun to read. Hope you have a lovely weekend everyone!

What one thing do you take with you everywhere even on a plane?

My Birthday Wish List 2017

Pretty Pricey Birthday Wish

Happy Wednesday! Can you believe I have done 5 of these birthday wish list now? This is the 5th one and it really puts it into perspective of how long I've been blogging for. I don't know how but I missed 2013 but I don't remember why I missed it. I listed all the ones I made down below to see what I've been lusting after for the past few birthdays I've had and how it changes over the years for a little early throwback. So I think you may know by now what this post is about so I'll just show you what I want for my birthday this year!

This year was pretty hard to list what I wanted for my birthday. I actually got a few early birthday presents already which are a trip to Palawan, concert tickets to see Fifth Harmony live and a new vlogging camera that I recently wrote about here. Two of those were booked in advance so I don't treat it as a recent gift to myself and I got the camera for my holiday so I feel like I still wanted to create a wish list of a few more things I had my eye on and what better time than my day of birth.

The first thing is probably the most expensive on my wish list and probably is the most important. I need a new laptop and pretty badly. The current one I am using is on its last leg and I've been doing my research on a lot of them. I think I settled on two models but the one I really want is the Macbook Air. I still don't know if I should stay on Windows or switch to Mac so if you have please give me some advice to help me decide. Next is another very pricey item. I've always wanted a designer bag and it is a luxury I really want to invest in. I can't stop thinking about the Chloe Drew and I think it fits my style and I can see myself getting on really well with it. I'm not sure if this will be my first purchase but I do hope to get it. Another thing that I want to get myself is the Pandora Rose Gold Bow Ring. I saw it online and saw it was not too bad so I thought if I was to buy myself one gift it would be this ring to signify this year. Also how can you say no to this rose gold beauty plus it is a bow and I do love them. The last few things are makeup bits that I've had my eye on. The Too Faced Natural Love Eyeshadow Palette is something I have seen everywhere and every time I see it I want my hands on it. It seems like the perfect palette and I am in love with the brand at the moment so everything they come out with I want especially the Too Faced Love Light Highlighters. I have been liking highlight more and more lately and these just seem incredible and so cute. Last thing on my list is a Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick but I'm not sure what shade yet. I really want one and my cousin has a way to get me one sent to me but I need to decide. If you have any reviews and recommend a shade please let me know.

I see that the items I went for this year are pretty pricey. I don't necessarily think I am going to get all of this now for my birthday but maybe it is a wish list for the whole year or someone will get me something from my list as a gift. That is why I didn't add to many things but honestly I only could think of these and that is good enough. That was on my birthday wish list this year. I hope you enjoyed seeing what I am lusting after and catch up with my previous ones as well. I guess just one more week until my birthday and I'll be another year older. I hope you have a great rest of the week!

Instagram Accounts I've Been Loving

Instagram Scrolling

Happy Monday! I thought we could start of the week with something positive. Over the last week or so I got back on to Instagram. I took a break from it since the algorithm was getting to me and I wasn't growing one bit. I felt so discouraged and didn't know what to do but I was reading some blog posts about tips and all kinds of reassuring kind of posts and thought I should just start posting and see where it takes me. I'm obviously going to insert my link now so you can follow my Instagram and help me reach another milestone hopefully. The point of this blog post was to show you people that I have been loving on there and to spread more positivity since the platform hasn't been the best lately. I recently had a clear out of inactive accounts and followed a lot more people so now whenever I open my feed it inspires me to post pretty pictures and up my photography a lot more. That's why I felt the need to share with you my fave people I follow on Instagram to maybe inspire you and find new people you may have not known about. So here re some accounts I've been loving lately.

First up is Caitlyn's and I adore her fashion blog and take so much inspiration from her style and outfits so of course I had to add her Instagram. Second is Carin and I love her outfits she posts and also all her pretty pictures plus the fact that she is a dance teacher and a blogger makes me so happy as they are my dream careers. The third is Mara and again I've been following her blog for quite a while and looking at her feed always makes me happy and it is so bubbly and fresh to look at.

These are quite a recent addition to my feed and starting off with Lynlee who has such incredible style and love seeing her outfits and bright colorful backgrounds really stand out. The second is Courtney and I found her blog first and then followed her Instagram. She has pretty fashion posts and I am loving her spring style at the moment. As for the third I found Michelle through someone I follow on Instagram and it was recommended to me. I love her style and love the bright colors at the moment.

The next three were found on Bloglovin' actually on the activity page. I was scrolling through there and found their blogs so I followed them on Instagram as well. Since I fell in love with their blogs I also fell in love with their pretty feeds. I have to say all three of these are just #feedgoals. First up is Francisca and she has an incredible flatlay style and just can't help but be amazed and inspired by her photos. Second is Lexie and her Instagram is everything I dream about. It is feminine and girly and sweet and I love every single picture that is on there. i just can't get enough of her feed. The third is very recent and I love Vanessa's flatlay style and her pink and grey theme. I love the colors together and it is just so pretty to look at.

The last set I have Amelia and right now I am in awe with her feed. If you couldn't notice I am obsessed with pink tone feeds and inspires mine. I love her pictures and love seeing her travels as well and she makes everything seem so pretty. Next is Jordan and I love her casual fee and her feminine feed. She is so inspiring in everything she does and love watching her grow. Last on the list is semi new and that is Tess who I found on a magazine site and followed her on Youtube. I love seeing New York and I just adore her style and outfits.

Those were my picks for who I was loving on Instagram lately. I would love to know if I should make this a series when I found new ones I've been loving and featuring different people every month or whatever. I think it would be fun and there are literally millions out there so it might be cool to see new people we didn't know was out there. Also please leave your Instagram username so I or maybe someone else leaving a comment can check it out too and we all could grow and beat that bad algorithm that is going on right now. It would be fun and maybe we could make some friends through it as well. I hope you enjoyed this and got a peek at my interests at the moment and who I've been following. Have a lovely rest of the week everyone and hope you get that perfect Instagram shot!

My Spring Makeup Picks

Pretty Spring Makeup

Happy Friday! Before the weekend officially starts I thought I would show you some spring makeup I've been loving. I rotated my makeup collection recently and I've noticed that I added so many spring products that I've used for a couple of springs now and also some new products to add in as well and maybe use in future springs ahead. Some were from my recent haul and others were from my favorites and together I have used them to create my go to Spring makeup look. Now I will show you my makeup selection I am loving at the moment.

Starting with the eyes I have been in love with the LA Colors 16 Eyeshadow in Sweet and it is my go to I grab for. It is an awesome palette and gorgeous for the spring but can also be used year round as well. It has some neutral shades or some bold colors and it is mixed with mattes and shimmers for a variation of eye looks. Second I am loving long and fluttery lashes lately and I didn't know my natural lashes were so long so finding the right mascara does the trick. I used up my last one up and since then using this one I get the hype of how lovely it is. The Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara has been giving me the prettiest lashes and I found another new favorite as it does it's job amazingly. Last thing about the eyes is eyeliner and finally I am using a pen eyeliner again. It is a life savor and I totally miss it and glad I found this again. I've been using the Maybelline Hyper Sharp Wing Eyeliner and it is the perfect eyeliner to practice my wings with and I do love the cat eye flick lately and this has help me achieve that.

Now moving on to the base I have been using the same foundation as I haven't found a good one yet. I did however found a pretty good concealer and this is another well hyped product I was reading about. It is so nice and covers up underneath the eye and covers my dark circles. The Pink Sugar Our Little Secret Concealer does a great job and I love how amazing the coverage and pigmentation has so it really does its job well. Last base product that is new to my spring makeup picks is the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder and it is so nice finally using a mineral transparent powder. I don't usually use one and I use a pressed powder to set my makeup but after using this it does leave a nice finish. It also doesn't leave me oily and I am learning to bake my makeup with it as it is finely milled and doesn't leave anything behind.

Next is the contour, highlight and blush products that I have been loving for Spring. The first is this contour palette that I recently reviewed here. It has lovely pigmentation and great color pay off and is making contouring so easy. The Detail 4 in 1 Contour & Blush has been my go to contour powder if I want to go all out and contour and bronze my face. I love the warm contour shade and than bronzing up and giving more color to my face with the bronzer. The blush that has been my go to is the Happy Skin Get Cheeky With Me Blush and the color screams spring. It has a lovely baby pink with shimmer and gives a gorgeous pink flush and glow on the cheeks. The last thing is highlighting and I do love the nice glow and the trend of being so bright it is blinding. With this palette I can achieve that and it has amazing pigmentation and does so well with that. I just love that the Sleek Highlighting Palette in Solstice and the champagne golden one goes so well on me and creates the perfect highlight on me.

The last category is lips and I have a few that I have been reaching for but I narrowed it down finally to just 3 that are my Spring lip colors. The first that is my favorite and the most reached for is the Pink Sugar Sugar Lip and Cheek Tint in Pink Passion and it is the most gorgeous and vibrant hot pink. It is a matte liquid lip and last for so long without touch up. It was in my favorites for the month and I also reviewed it here. The second lipstick I am loving and included is the Maybelline Rosy Matte in Salmon Pink and it is such a lovely shade for the spring. It is a regular matte lipstick and out of the collection this is so pretty and one I've been using out of all of them. As for the last lipstick I do love is the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Sydney and it is the most spring color. It is a pretty light pink and it is another matte liquid lips as it is my favorite formula right now too. I love the color of this and it is of course the most cliche spring lip color which it amazing.

Those were my recent loves and my spring makeup picks. I think I'm going to do a face of the day with all these makeup items and show how I am doing makeup at the moment. I do enjoy switching out my makeup and should do it more often as I forget how many lovely things I own and hardly use. I hope you enjoyed this and let me know your current Spring makeup faves and if any of these do you use. I'm off now to enjoy my weekend and I hope you have an awesome one too!

Spring into my Favorites

Happy Wednesday! It is favorites time again and I did really miss these. I did gather up some favorites over the past month or two and can't wait to tell you all about them now. Some are new and some I brought back that I love this time of year. If you can't tell I switched up the format a bit for my monthly favorites. I got a bit bored of the old format so I mixed it up and made it a lot shorter than I previously have had them. It still has the same chatty feel but not as long hopefully and a bit less pictures of each one. So I promised I wouldn't make it to long so here are my current favorite products that I've been loving lately.

 Bifesta Eye Makeup Remover
This was featured in my Spring Haul and I had high hopes I would love this as I love it's counterpart and featured it in my favorites a lot from before but this was so amazing and did a great job. It doesn't sting and can remove waterproof eye makeup and can get all of it off. I like the formula and I know me and this will be getting on well for removing my mascara and eyeliner I could never get off before but now I won't be dreading trying to get them off and not leave me with black racoon eyes. Now I can wear my waterproof makeup and not regret it when I need to take it off before bed.

LA Colors 16 Eyeshadow Palette in Sweet
My current favorite eyeshadow palette and the one I have been reaching for and creating different looks with. It has a lot of colors and I can mix it up and the pigmentation is lovely and the blending capability of this just blew me away. I'm going to be doing a full review on this soon and let you know more about it but so far this is just my fave eyeshadow to use and it's been great using it.

Benefit Roller Lash Mascara
This is an old favorite of mine and was featured previously in a favorites before. The reason it made it in again was I needed to use this up before I open a new mascara and I didn't want to waste this so I pulled it out to use up the last bit of it. When I used it again I forgot how amazing it is. It was a little dry but not bad and still looked pretty decent on and gave me amazing lashes. I did end up using the last of this sample size and once I need a new mascara this will be a repurchase from me. Also this looked great especially with the eyeshadow palette so my eye makeup and lashes have been on point lately. I reviewed this already and you can see how nice it makes my lashes here.

Happy Skin Get Cheeky With Me in The Morning After
Next is another old favorite once again and I have to pull this out whenever it is this time of year as it is my favorite pink blush for the spring time and looks so flattering. It gives a nice glow and flush to the cheek and I love the small glitter it gives off. I just can't get over how much I love this shade and will be one of my go to spring shade. If you want to see more and want to read the review of this blush you can find that here.

Pink Sugar Sugar Tint in Pink Passion
Last makeup favorite is this lip and cheek tint by Pink Sugar. It is my go to color and the hot pink shade is just my everything at the moment. It has been my go to spring lip color right now and I am going to carry it over to summer as well since hot pink lipstick has made me feel so good lately. It is matte and stays on all day so I don't have problems with it so it is pretty much my fave lipstick the past few months. If you want to see more of me rave about this lipstick and two other shades in the collection I just recently wrote a review about it here.

Pink Clutch // Bag
The bag that has been my favorite is this one my cousin gave to me when she came back from Abu Dhabi. It was so nice of her and she had a matching one as well in a different color so when she was here we wore them together and when she left again I continued to wear it and it is so convenient and since it holds the essentials I can just grab it and go without lugging my everyday going places bag. It is so cute and it is such a spring color.

Forever 21 Pink Bow Ponytail // Hair Accessory
I was going to use this as a prop in my blog pictures but I realized it has been my favorite hair accessory right now. I wore this in my last outfit here and ever since then I wear it in my hair when it is up in a ponytail or give more fun to a bun top knot. I like it and it's so easy to add a little something to my hair for the day.

Current Faves // Music
I made a playlist on my Spotify of my current favorite songs the past few months. First on it is No More Sad Songs - Little Mix and it has been on repeat. I do love the new version ad the music video is everything. I adore the makeup and want to recreate it some how as it is gorgeous and love all the red and pink tones. It makes me want to go to a country style bar now and I actually saw one out of the blue and never knew it was there before. Maybe it is a song to go or something I don't know. The second is Everyday - Ariana Grande ft. Future and I got obsessed with this as I was subscribed to a lot of youtubers who did a recreate style video for her style in the music video and there were a ot so every time I watched I got more into the song and I fell in love. I do love her album and forgot this was on there. The third song on here is Are You Sure? - Conor Maynard and again it was a Youtube recommendation for me and I started listening to this song and then explored a lot of his other stuff like his covers and originals and just fell in love. I love this one and the acoustic one as well and he is a pretty good singer. I just love finding new music and artist to listen to. Last on the playlist is Dope - Fifth Harmony. I think this is the most played song from their album and I should have included the whole thing but didn't. The reason I am listening to the whole album over and over is because as you are reading this post I'm probably listening to them live at their concert. I'm pretty sure this blog post will be up just as I'm at the venue so I can't wait to see them perform and hear this song in particular live.

I usually add my latest TV show favorites in my monthly favorites but I actually wrote a separate post on what I'm watching lately and a little about what has been keeping me entertained there.

Those were everything I loved and my favorites for th past couple months and recently. I missed my rambly chatty favorites post and kind of miss doing them every month but it was so hard finding new favorites so I think this set up is better. I hope you enjoyed this and let me know what your spring favorites have been or just something you couldn't get enough of recently. Have a lovely rest of the week!

What I'm Watching Lately

Netflix and chill?

Happy Monday! Over the weekend I had a very relaxed one and didn't do too much. In my free time I am the happiest sitting and just watching TV and looking back I always have. Since I spend my weekends watching TV I think it is one of my favorite things to do ever. So while I was in between episodes I got to thinking I could share more about another thing I love since that is what my blog is for and to incorporate a bit more lifestyle content here and there. I also admit that I prefer 9 times out of 10 TV shows than movies. I do like movies and finishing the story in one sitting but there is something about following along a TV show and getting invested and caught up with the characters and story line. I just love me a good show and when I get obsessed with one I get obsessed and think I'm actually in the story and think they're real people. I do hate finishing one and then I get the feeling of not knowing what to do for a while. So I shall get going and just show you what I've been watching lately.

On Netflix

iZombie
My cousin and me love this show and started it before Christmas and finally got done. It took us a while and now we are ready for the upcoming season. My cousin doesn't really watch TV shows with me so when he said he wanted to watch this with me and suggested it I was thrilled to and since we were busy we couldn't really get it done fast enough but finally we re and I am so excited to see what is next.

Teen Wolf
I was recommend this on my list thing on Netflix and since I was done with The Vampire Diaries I needed something and this came up. It is interesting and I do love the supernatural werewolf thing plus the guy in it is super hot so that's good. I'm still making my way through the first season but so far so good and good thing is I haven't gotten spoiled as I see it trending on Twitter a lot.

Riverdale
Of course the ever so popular Riverdale made the ist. I just started the first episode and really like it so far. I kind of like waiting up for it each week like a regular TV show and I don't really mind it as it means I don't keep watching episode after episode and getting too deep in that it is nothing else I do even though I have so much other things I'm focused on getting more episodes in. This way I can get one done and go on with what else I have. I am trying to catch up at the moment but once I do I'll like that schedule.

If there is anything on Netflix you think I need to be watching at this moment please leave it in the comments!

Saving Hope
My number one obsession lately is this. Actually all medical shows lately I love and been getting into. If you have any of those kinds of medical show ones I need to start please they are everything to me at the moment and I find the medical dramas so fascinating. I honestly blame Grey's Anatomy for the obsession. What I like about this one is the supernatural side to it as well. It is unique and gripping and so much twist and turns for the two main characters. I finished the fourth season in a month I think and now I am following the last season live. After this blog post is up and I am done for the day with work related stuff I am treating myself and watching the latest episode.

Powerless
I obviously started this because I am still such a big fan of Vanessa Hudgens. She was my favorite actress growing up and when I found out she was in a TV show I automatically needed to check it out and I ended up enjoying it. After my cousin got me hooked on the super hero movies it kind of felt like I would get on with it and I have. It's funny and light and if you either like her or just that justice league super hero thing than it is pretty cool.

The Royals
Last is The Royals and for me one of my favorite shows ever. I love the story and characters and the drama with everything. I didn't know it came back already and was so annoyed I didn't find the third season sooner. I watched all the episodes in a couple of nights as it is that good. My fave character has to be Princess Eleanor and her outfits and makeup are just everything. Such a great show and it has to be in my top 3 all time favorite things to watch. I just want more episodes now!

Those are all the shows I've been watching and catching up with lately. Maybe I can do a part 2 if I find new shows or I'm thinking maybe doing a movie edition but I haven't watched too many so when I do I might get that up as well. I personally love reading these kinds of posts so I can get new recommendations for shows as I always need new ones. There is nothing better than sitting down and watching your fave show in my opinion. Now I'm going to go now as if you couldn't guess I'm going to go watch more TV. Hope you have a great watching TV day/afternoon/evening and have a lovely rest of the week ahead!
