Summarizing November

Happy Wednesday! Also happy last day of November! It is so exciting the festive period is almost here but for now I'll let you know what happened in November. I used to do this pretty much every month before but decided to stop since some months I had nothing and it was nice taking a break from it. However I didn't blog too much this month so I thought it would be fun to just share my month in pictures instead to round it up. I didn't blog much and took a break due to personal issues and I needed time to refresh myself and then my content. So when I saw I had quite a few pictures I thought it would be cool to summarize my month and catch you up on a couple of things I was doing when I was not busy blogging. I'll just bring you up to speed now.

The first thing about November I loved was a huge birthday celebration for my family. I have a lot of family member who had a birthday this month so instead of going to everyone's house, we created a group chat and came up with a date that all of us can agree on and we met up at one of my oldest cousin's house. It was a pot luck so we brought our own foods. I brought some drinks and my uncle bought a roasted pig but since I'm vegetarian I didn't eat any of it. It is such a big thing to have a roasted pig at a party or on a major holiday. There was karaoke and a competition between us cousin's and a lot of bonding with relatives that I don't see that often. It was really fun and all the cake we had was the best.

I then had to be in the hospital with my dad so I was gone for 5 days that's why I made the decision to take some time off and focus on that. When we got home we just stayed for pretty much the whole month and he recovered. I got to just binge watch Netflix and plan content for December to at lest do something productive with my time off.

The next big thing and a highlight to my month was going out for my cousin's birthday. Even though we had a party altogether we also broke off and on the actual individual days we did our own thing. Since he lives in the other bedroom of my place we hang out all the time and I mention him quite often. We get along so well even though there is quite an age difference with him and me I think his older self mixes well with me. I promised we would do something so I took our nephew, his mom (my aunt), my older cousin who hosted the family party and my dad who had to be in a wheelchair because the doctor advised him to take it easy. We walked around a place called Nuvali which is like an outdoor mall and then went out to Denny's which I was so excited for since I missed eating there when I was in the U.S. I do have a vlog of the day which you can watch it instead here or below of everything that happened that day and I am so glad I filmed the day to look back on.

That was it for the month. It was a very chill month. It is so funny looking back as last year I was in such bad shape from my hip injury and family problems. I think November there is something always going wrong. For some reason it turns out but it wasn't as bad this year. I don't know what next year will bring but we will have to see. I hope you liked this summary post and maybe watch the vlog as it was so fun filing and editing it and so good to be back doing Youtube again too. So I guess that is it but look out because Blogmas begins tomorrow!

What was your November like?

Unique & Fancy Dress Inspiration | Planning Style

Prom Dresses London

Fancy Wedding Inspiration

Happy Monday! As promised I have another planning style post which is a fun chatty post about weddings but more specifically in my cousin Mae's point of view. Since I'm not going to have a wedding any time soon she is the closest to me planning one. We've been doing it together for a while now and I can't wait till it gets it all together and seeing the results. I love browsing for dresses and just looking at all the styles and dreaming up my own but for now I can just live through Mae and her upcoming day. I will let her take over I'll see you at the end.

Hi, I'm back. I miss Jackie blog and love her for this. I pick 4 fancy dress and had a fitting of mine last week. It was really fun and can't wait. I pick these four dresses as this is what I imagined as my first design. The first is pretty and love the lace and sleeves on it. It feels very frilly and I like it. The second dress is so beautiful and love the style of it. The third is really sexy and so fun and daring which is not me but I can dream. The last has lace and is really poofy which love the puffiness of it.

I wanted to give my thoughts too so I love this style and my sweet sixteen dress was this high low trend and I find it so cute in a wedding dress. I love the shortness and then you still have a long train as well. I think my favorite is the second and third as they are the prettiest for me and totally my style and would love to wear it at mine whenever that comes.

My real dress has train and love it. I went with simple and elegance. So I pick another 4 dresses to  show my style. I love first dress and the lace and design on bottom. It is pretty and has many details I like. The second is really bling and I like and so sparkle which you can se from the aisle. The third is really long and sometimes I want to make mine longer like this but really bad to walk in and I'm nervous I fall in front of everyone and be bad for all of us. Last I really like this pretty dress and classic white style of it. Best be looking at it and love small details of it. I find all pretty though and be really happy to get mine done and see it complete. It is so exciting and really nice to pass time already.

I love these gowns and the long train dresses seem so cool but I can never walk in them. If I ever had a church wedding I think I would go for the long train and be like the full skirt. My favorites from this bunch is the second and fourth one as they are so girly and elegant and I would see myself with these kinds of gowns. I do love all her picks and find that I was agreeing with a lot of Mae's choices. There are so many Cheap Ivory Wedding Dresses Australia on the site ad we had great fun scrolling and choosing.

That was it for this planning style. I love when my cousin comes on and writes about updates and we can spend the evening hanging out and talking about not only planning but about anything. It's been so great that this experience is bringing us closer. I hope you found these dresses as much as we did and can't wait to do more posts on different dresses and details of her day. So I guess that is it and next time again until we do another planning style post. Also go check out the site yourself if you looking for dresses or just some inspiration like we were doing during the first stages of designing her dress.

Autumn/Fall Bridesmaid Dress Picks

Prom Dresses London

Autumn/Fall Colored Dresses

Happy Saturday! I'm back with another planning style and fashion finds in one today. I've picked a few autumn and fall colored dresses for bridesmaid. I was inspired by the colors of the season and all the fashion that comes with it so I thought choosing some dresses that could work if you happen to be getting married in the autumn/fall and having a rustic styled wedding. I was looking at Sposadress and their selection is great and have all kinds of colors and styles that anyone could have a hard time narrowing it down for the big day. So enough chit chat and let's see my picks for autumn/fall bridesmaid dresses.

| 1 | 2 | 3 |

I starting off they have some really good and cheap bridesmaid dresses on the site so there was a lot to browse from. I proceed to pick these three which are quite unique fall colors and I choose them instead of the rich colors. The first is a grape purple and something I haven't looked into for a while. I love the simplicity and not something you might not consider as a color motif. The next dress is a light silver if you want a classic color but not being white to clash with the bride and not too dark as well. It's a pretty girly off the shoulder style and it is just so elegant for a dress. The third dress is an olive green and a shade I quite like. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but I find it quite unique and a great autumn fall option color. It is another off the shoulder and I picked quite a few because I love the style and looks so flattering and girly as a bridesmaid dress.

| 4 | 5 | 6 |

The second set is more autumn and fall inspired and its more of the rich colored ones not like the ones above. The first is a pretty yellow and I love yellows like this where it is a warm sunshine colored and makes it a nice cheery color. I love the style and the straight cut is perfect as well. The second dress is a dark grey which is quite a fall color or for me it is so it can be a nice substitute if your not into color and want the more formal look. I love that off one shoulder style and the flower sash is so girly for a dark color. The last dress is a bright orange and for me the ultimate autumn and fall color and reminds me of the season the most so of course it needed to be an option in this. It is a typical styled strapless dress which is always a go to style and very classic but the bright color is really bold and if you love those kind of out there colors are perfect.

That is it for that but I have another planning style with my cousin Mae either tomorrow or pretty soon as soon as she has time. It's been a while since we did an update on hers. So look forward to that and the rest of the fun wedding content we have in store. I'm also getting ready for all the festive holiday content as well coming up too. I guess that is it for now but hope you enjoyed my autumn colored inspired bridesmaid dresses.

EB Advance Liquid Lipstick in Soft Lace | Review & Swatches

Soft Lace

Happy Wednesday! It's another post in my liquid lipstick series for the week.I am bringing you another one from the local brand that I have been loving and done a few reviews on. It's quite a great range and I love that this brand tried the liquid lipstick trend and their own version of it is smart. So enough with the babble here's the review.

Where to buy: SM Dept. Stores, Watsons, Ever Bilena Counters Nationwide. This product cost 180.00php.

Packaging
It's made of plastic. It has a white cap and the body is transparent to see the color clearly. I'm impressed with how good the packaging is and really like how nice it is for a budget local brand. The cool thing is inside is it has a faux lipstick bullet inside. The tip of the wand is a doe-foot applicator like a lot on the market. It is a pretty good size and can apply with just one swipe on my lips.

Color & Pigmentation
I thought the shade Soft Lace would fall in the nude category when I was at the store under the lightning there. Then when I got home I saw it belongs to the pink side.  It is best described as a peachy pink with slight yellow undertone. The color is in between coral pink and deep rose with warm undertones in it on the lips. It is the palest of all the six shades in the range but even though I got the lightest shade from the collection it still has amazing color and isn't too light so goes well with lots of skin tones. It is also as vibrant as the color that you see on the packaging. The pigmentation is creamy and can be liquidy. If you don't wanna have all the extra gloss then I suggest blotting it with a tissue and it'll turn matte. It's really glossy when you first apply it then for a couple of hours, it'll dry as semi-matte.

Application & Staying Power
This product applies opaquely on the lips. I was really pleased with it as you only have to dip the applicator once to cover your upper and lower lip since it is so creamy in texture. I thought this product would have a matte finish but upon application it has a cream finish. After I tried it I thought it would set matte after a while but even after an hour the finish remains the same unless you blot it with a tissue paper like my tip above. It doesn't feel heavy on the lips and is very creamy and moisturizing though.

The staying power can last about 6 hours if I am not eating and drinking and just testing it out at home. If I went out and then eat something heavy then the creamy texture will fade and a stain will be left of the product which is semi-matte.I love that it leaves a stain and I find that it will leave the stain for about 4 hours if I don't eat again. It does not bleed outside the lip area and feather like some liquid lipsticks I tried. It's scentless so if the scents to product like this bother you it will. The transfer on this is more highly due to it being creamy rather than matte. The transfer can lessens after blotting on the tissue paper or the powder trick too.

Swatches
The first picture is when I first applied the product from the tube. It is more glossy first applied and very creamy so it glides right on my wrist and of course on the lips it is great. Then the second picture is after an hour and it still didn't set and was still glossy but not as glossy so it doesn't set to a demi- matte. I sat with my arm out to get the full on test and I seriously watched it and see if it dries to another texture but alas it didn't.

Overall Experience
Overall I would say that I really liked this product. I would highly recommend it to anyone who can grab a hold of this product and for the price it has great value and amazing quality. I enjoyed using this and though the creaminess could be worked on it did have superb pigmentation and I loved the color of it. Have you tried any of the EB Advance Liquid Lipstick yet?

My rating is:
I'll give it a 3 and a half star because I love everything about this but I don't like the cream texture because I'm quite keen on the matte formula at the moment but I can't fault this product it is just my preference. It has great quality and it does have some good points like it's affordable, has great pigmentation and so affordable. So it was pretty good I think and would love to buy more.

That's it for this review of this lovely lipstick. It had it's good points and it was great a local budget brand has an option and is accessible. I am loving this liquid lipstick week and trying and review different kinds. I hope you are enjoying it too and liked this review so I'll see you in my next one.

Very Berry | What I Wore

Dressfashion Long Prom Dresses

A Berry Good Outfit

Happy Wednesday! I wanted to show you my second look from Autumn lookbook I did last month. Also this was a fun outfit and I just love this comfy look for so many things. This is the day I was telling you about the review of the matte liquid lipsticks and it lasted for so long. I love how it matched with the outfit and the dark vampy made the whole look for me so let's just get on with it.

For the outfit, this is my go to Autumn outfit and it has been for about two years now. I'm surprised I never did an outfit post on it and don't worry I checked it was just a similar variation of it. I came up with it when I saw the leggings and top beside each other and then the whole outfit came together including the accessories. I've talked about this top far too much but who doesn't love a peplum. The burgundy leggings are my one true autumn piece love and the accessories are my black bag and suede ballet flats. I went with a similar colored bow and the lipstick I made it match as well. I just did a review on this here if you want to see my thoughts on it.

| top: Forever 21+, leggings: Forever 21+ {similar}, bag: Trendsgal* {similar}, shoes: Lower East Side, bow: Forever 21, lipstick: Matte in Detail D13 |

That was my outfit! It is nice to be back writing after taking a break for a week due to personal issues. I got to binge watch TV shows on Netflix and just chill which totally helped me after working so hard for months now. It took the edge off and I was feeling myself burnout so that break prevented that. For some reason I feel like November for me is always a slow blog month because I can remember this time last year I was in horrible pain from my injury and I was going through a personal problem back then to. Maybe it is because I have this instinct to take a break this month to blog everyday in December which explains it. So that has been going on lately with me. I know a little vague but I'm doing quite well now and looking at my blog better especially for all the festive content coming up. I guess that's it for now and hope you liked this blog post and outfit!

Matte in Detail Liquid Lipsticks in D6 Nash & D13 Katherine | Review & Swatches

Nash & Katherine

Happy Monday! I'm back and I decided this week is going to be dedicated to matte liquid lipsticks. I was meant to do this last week but I took it off for personal reason but it was nice having a break after blogging regular since July. I am looking at content with fresh eyes and to rethink my ideas especially since I am planning Blogmas and I was becoming overwhelmed by all the ideas I was trying to get out. Now that I am settled I hope to jump back in and why not do so with a lipstick review. If you couldn't tell I have been obsessed with trying different matte liquid lipsticks like pretty much everyone else as well. I got sucked in with the hype and started with NYX and then just tried any brands I got in contact with like Pink Sugar, Sleek and even Colourpop. Don't worry reviews of those will soon come but I decided to start the reviews by budget and this is one of the most affordable liquid lipsticks I've picked up. So enough with my long babbling spill I will just give my thoughts on the Matte in Detail Liquid Lipsticks.

Description (from website): A budget-friendly matte liquid lipstick. Rich, creamy, long-wearing color; waterproof, kiss-proof, and transfer-proof; offers a wide shade selection for every mood or personality. An intense, shine-free statement lip.

Where to buy: BeautyMNL. This product cost 225.00php but sometimes they have promos so watch out for that.

Packaging
I really like the packaging of this. It comes in a box and it has all the right information on the box itself. It has a diagram of it, the color which if it is a darker color it tries to match it on the box but making it harder to see as you can tell from the picture. It has the shade, ingredients and has the number of what it is on a lot of the sides to know what it actually is. As for the lipstick tube itself. It has a clear plastic tube and a doe foot applicator just like many on the market at the moment so it isn't anything to special. It is rectangular and reminds me of a lot. It has a matte black plastic lid which has the brand on it. The thing I don't like is if you don't screw it on it doesn't go one right and it won't fit perfectly so the nae always has to be in the center which is quite annoying and if you are a tad OCD it can be frustrating to try a million times to screw it on to get it right. On the bottom of the tube it has the shade which is in tiny black letters and it has the name on the front. Pretty simple packaging.

Color
There was quite a good color selection and it has a good range to choose from. It was hard for me to decided but the colors I picked I was really happy with it. The first color I'm going to talk about is the lighter pink one and it is called D6 Nash. It is a pink I usually go for and my go to color that I tend to draw for when it comes to a lipstick like this. I love the pink nude colors and I expected this to be maybe a little lighter and more a nude but I'm so happy with the color in person than inside the tube. It is a rosy pink and in the middle class of pink. It doesn't go more nude and it doesn't g so pink f that makes sense. The second color is a very autumn color and it was intentional to get a bold and vampy lip color. The D13 Katherine is in my description a ox blood red. I was expecting it to be more of a berry and more purple toned but it is more on the red side and has a small hint of purple but not too much. I was sad when I got it because I love the rich berry hue but trying it and wearing it is such a fun color and one I can add to my collection as I have nothing like it making it really unique. Two very different colors but look pretty good side by side. It is definitely great colors to have as starters.

Pigmentation
I have to give a huge compliment for the pigmentation of this. I mean it is so amazing I have no words for it. It goes it's job well and with only one swipe you can cot the lips without going for a doable dip but I do it to get the smoothness I want and to make it even. Both the colors has great color payoff and though one is a lighter color and the other is obviously pretty dark and vampy both have the same exact amount of pigment. I expected that of course one would be more pigmented than the other but not in this case. It has the same opaqueness with a swipe on the arm and lips. It gives of the color right away and that impressed me so much because that is what you would want in a liquid lipstick.

Application & Staying Power
I tested putting this on two ways. The first was applying the doe applicator over my lips in one swipe which it was pigmented to get pretty much the whole lip without double dipping. The second is I did it preciously and drew it on and connected the lines I drew. It didn't apply thick or anything and can work both ways so whatever you prefer for your application so it just depends on you. I prefer the lighter one the first way as it is a lighter color and doesn't show the mistakes right away unlike the darker color I liked doing it the second way to get those precise lines and get a clean look everyone is loving at the moment. As for the lasting power this stuff is incredible. I have no problem eating or drinking with this. I think with no touch ups it lasted the whole day up until I got home. I went to an event with it so I was talking, went to dinner with it still on and it lost a little in the middle when the meal was over but other than that it did an amazing job. It stayed on but if I wanted another coat I could have without it caking on my lips. For the price this has amazing lasting power and can get you through the day.

Swatches
The first picture is when I first applied the product from the tube. It is the initial wetness of it and you can apply a thin layer or build it up. When it is on my lips I can either do one long swipe and get the color or build it up. The bottom picture is when they dried after a couple minutes. It probably dried in about 2 minutes and then for fully matte texture it takes 3 minutes. Yes I did time this and I sat watching TV with my arm on the armrest with my iPhone timer recording the time for the review. I love the glossiness of it before it dries and then when it fully is set it has amazing colors. The swatches on my hand which ended up being 4 specifically on my wrist and inside my forearm lasted so long without smudging. I took two showers and they were there for literally 2 days until I took makeup remover. After the second day it was feathering around the edges and starting to smudge but it was pretty good and so unbelievable. So I recommend you try it if you aren't leaving the house for the day and do normal activities and shower to test it. I literally tested it on my arm and my lips for this.

Overall Experience
Overall I love these to lipsticks and for the price it has great value and amazing quality. I enjoyed using this and though the dryness could be worked on it did have superb pigmentation and I loved the colors I chose plus it stayed on for so long which is what I wanted. I am so happy with this that I highly recommend it because it is affordable and the quality is unlike any other. There are so many shades to choose from, affordable and the lasting power is worth it. Have you tried any of the Matte in Detail Liquid Lipstick yet?

My rating is:
I'll give it a 4 and a half star because I love everything about this but it is a little drying after a while of wearing it. So I couldn't give a full 5 star even though I really wanted to the set back was the dryness which I totally understand so I don't mind. It's affordable, has great color and color options   as well so one of those might appeal to you like it did for me and the best of all is lasting power. So it was pretty good I think and would love to buy more.

That's it for this review of these lovely lipsticks.I really enjoyed these and they even make it in to my favorites last month since I alternated between the two. I wore them in a vlog so if you watch my last one you can see it through the whole day and see it for yourself. If you wondering why I didn't include lip swatches like I always do is one I honestly forgot to and second to make up for lack of lip swatches two of my outfit posts have me wearing both and I have how I wore it with makeup too see lookout for that. I will link them here once they are up in case you are reading in the future. Next time I'll have my lip swatches again or maybe you don't mind so let me know what you prefer: just wrist swatches, just lip swatches or both. I sometimes don't know whether to include them so I'd love your feedback. Also let me know if you tried this or a matte liquid lipstick brand I haven't tried yet because I made it a little goal to try as many as I can get my hands on which sounds expensive so don't know how well I will stick to it but it is fun experimenting them. I hope you found this helpful and enjoyed it also enjoy the start of the week!
