Grey Hearted School | What I Wore

Back 2 School Heartbreak

Happy Wednesday! It's the last day of the month and I feel like I have one last day of summer when it technically has been gone for a while here in Manila but once I've said that it's going to be really hot and sunny or grey and rainy. The bipolar weather is driving me insane for outfits recently. Speaking of outfits this is my last one in my back to school lookbook. It is one of my favorite looks from the four styled outfits. It's really simple and fun so I hope you enjoy this and if you've gone back to school what was your first day outfit.

For my outfit I started off with a jumper that it is so light weight and a perfect fall essential. I love that it isn't plain but has a design but it isn't too busy. It's really soft bit I just wish it was a tad bit longer. Since it was short I had to go with some skinny black jeans instead of leggings this time. I didn't mind as I haven't gotten much use out of it but now that it is cooling down I can wear them without getting too hot. I think I'm getting used to the ripped knees look too. As for accessories I didn't really do too much. I still had my heart pendent necklace underneath and the same stud earrings as my last post. My shoes are grey loafers and they're so comfy and look so classic. For the backpack I bought this for the outfit but don't worry I think I might use it for other stuff if not my cousin already offered to use it as it can be unisex which is nice. Also if you are wondering I just used my BDJ stationary to seem like I'm going back to school which if you'd like to see it in detail I did a separate post on it at the beginning of the year here. Last my bow is just a white silk one for once instead of my black velvet one I've been obsessed with if you couldn't tell from my outfits recently.

That is it for my last outfit from the lookbook. I actually took these right after the last one because I was on a time crunch and I had just enough light to finish them off. I was lost for what the last location should be since the last one was so good and since I don't go to school anymore I didn't have a campus location. I found this shopping center outside and right across was a day care school so it was close enough. It's actually super pretty and now need to explore that area since there was a on of places to shoot outfit pictures. It's been getting harder and harder to find different locations recently and that's why it might seem I have taken them in the same places or I might be the only who can tell. I think I need to start exploring and going to the city because there are so many more I can go to since I have really used up al the local spots to me. After I got done with the shoot I went home right way and just edited the whole lookbook which is still up on my channel. I'd love to know how you decided locations for outfit pictures if you do them. I'm so particular and since I've been doing so many more outfit pictures so hope you like them too. Have a lovely rest of the week lovelies!

Wander Forest | What I Wore

Forest of Fresh Air

Happy Monday! It's a fresh start of the week and almost the end of the month. I won't give my month is over speech yet because I am sure I'll make it in my favorites post soon. However speaking of fresh I think this set of outfit photos are a breath of fresh air and I mean literally since I shot them in a forest away from the city and got to take in the pretty sites and all the fresh crisp air. This was the third outfit in my back to school lookbook here and I wanted to show you the full outfit and the details too.

For the outfit this is another pretty simple one. I recently wore this combination of top here but it is so easy to wear I knew it would be perfect for throwing on when you have nothing to wear. I was getting pretty tired of always wearing my skinny jeans over and over so when my mom pulled out an old box full of all the denim I used to wear in middle and high school it gave me more items to choose from. I was all about jeans especially capri and I bought many pairs of them. The ones I ended choosing to go with the outfit are ones I had bought at Old Navy with pockets on the side and this detailing which back then I loved about them. I'm surprised they still fit and I might just have to bring some of the pairs out to see how I could style it now. The accessories I went with my stone heart necklace to match the heart print top, simple stud earrings and my black ballet flats plus it goes so well with my floral bag which is pretty big and can fit so much perfect for a school day.

That was it for my outfit! As I said this was part of my lookbook. My close friend actually suggested it after saying I wanted to shoot in a park but he stepped it up and said he knew a pretty forest if I was into it. When we got there I thought it would do. It's actually really pretty and there is this gorgeous lake and I didn't go all the way down there since I kind of wanted to save it for another outfit. Besides that it had nice scenery and a fun fact for you it is actually by the Philippines national prison. I was not far from where all the prisoners were staying. My mom and her siblings actually went to high school across from the prison. I mean I have no idea why there is a school right next to a prison but it is still there and people still go to it. I find it really funny and I'm sure its pretty safe (or I'm hoping it is). I actually went inside the prison to do a interview with an inmate back when I was in college. I think it would make such a funny story time though. So that was the back story to this outfit and it's location. I'd love to know where is the weirdest place you've done outfit pictures if you do them or just the weirdest park you've been to. I think mine is pretty epic but there might be a park out there more unique than this one. I hope you liked the simple casual outfit and have a great start of the week.

Back to School Outfit Ideas & Lookbook

Going back to school

Happy Friday! It's been a while since I did a lookbook and though I'd love to do them more often it is quite hard to at the moment but when I do get them out it is so fun to do and film them and show you them. If you didn't notice this week's outfit posts had a theme and that is back to school looks. I have styled 4 different outfit perfect for going back to school. I wanted to give you a few outfits that are casual and comfy and perfect for those mornings you don't know what to wear or are not bothered to get out of bed because I know I was like that. So you can watch the whole lookbook below or right here or just see a couple pictures here on my blog.

The first outfit I themed around Autumn. I love leggings and find them so comfortable and easy to use. I also went with a tank top but I'm sure schools have a dress code which I always listened to so I added a cardigan but wore it like a cape sine I've been curious on the style and it reminds me of Blair Waldorf. Then throw on some sandals and a satchel. I wore this outfit Monday so if you want to see the outfit details you can see that there and more about it.

The second outfit is my sporty look that can go from school to the mall real quick. I went with the simple tee and jeans but added a 3/4 length sleeve hoodie to keep you a tad warm from the air conditioning in the classroom or lecture hall. Then I wore a pair of open toe sandals but instead maybe you could go for some white Converse or a pair of white shoes would look great. The accessories I went with some cute things to rally express yourself. Again for the links and everything bout that outfit are in it's on post from Wednesday.

The third outfit is my I woke up too late an need to get out the door look. I had moments when I slept through my alarm and hated getting up in the morning as I was never a morning person and probably don't intend to. So this outfit is perfect for those rushing around kind of mornings. I took a pair of capri jeans which were my favorites to wear in High School and then a tank top with a shirt on top. It takes a couple seconds to throw on and you can go. My bag is pretty big and can fit a lot of stuff where you need some room but also want a cute bag. My shoes I just used a pair of black flats and finished off the whole outfit with a side braid tied off with a bow to complete the whole lazy vibe and look like you made an effort when you were in a rush.

The fourth and last look is the first day of school outfit. Its a simple one just a grey jumper but it isn't just plain it has large black heart to give it some detail. It isn't really thick material and lightweight so you can just wear it alone or with a jacket if it gets colder. Then I went with some black jeans with rips in the knees and they are comfy and a basic piece that goes with everything in my wardrobe. Since it was sort of a first day outfit then a backpack would do to store books and collect them on the first day and don't you like going backpack shopping and finding the perfect one. For shoes I went with comfy loafers since I thought it would be great to walk in and they look so perfect for school.

Those were my outfits and a look book for back to school. I do have the to outfit posts coming out next week so wait for that and all the details of hose last two outfits. I hope you enjoyed this and I loved filming and editing  it so go over there and subscribe too if you'd like. I have more planned and love all the outfits and styling I've been doing. So hope you liked and have a fab weekend!

Miss Sporty with Zaful | What I Wore

Yellow Mellow Sporty Spice

Happy Wednesday! Today's outfit has to be one of my favorites in a while. It is just simple and comfortable while still looking myself. To be honest at first I wasn't feeling the whole outfit and thought it just wasn't my style and looked different in the mirror but after the pictures were taken and I got to see it on a computer I actually quite liked how it turned out in the end. It's sort of has a sporty vibe going on especially with the hoodie but the accessories and other colors still give it my trademark girlyness. This is my take on a sporty look for once. I mean it may not look sporty to you but for me this is my girly unique sporty style you may see here a lot. So enough with the little ramble and show you today's what I wore.

For my outfit I went fora peach top which after several washes has now become quite see through so I put this pale yellow jacket or whatever it is called over it. I was hoping to use this soon after finding it and it bringing back memories. I still remember buying this at Target for my first day at middle school quite a long time ago now and when I found it and it still fit I had to find a way to style it now. It is this lovely pale yellow which I don't wear often and it has an owl print inside and on the hood. Then a pair of jeans, some sandals and to accessorize I finally got to use the accessories that came with my Zaful order. The silver cat bag added a little cuteness and I love the mirrored sunglasses after seeing them all over Instagram and pretty much everywhere. Last thing I added a vintage key necklace and a bright yellow bow to complete a simple sporty outfit.

That was my outfit! I really enjoyed this one and even shooting it as well. This was actually the day my cousin and I went out to play some more Pokemon and just walk around together. He's been enjoying going out and taking my outfit pictures for me and after we get them done we hang out and browse the mall and now we go out to see who we can catch. The mall we went to was loaded and I was so happy getting all the ones I want. I also caught myself an Eevee which is the one I was wanting after Pikachu and next on my list is Snorlax but I know that thing is rare and I hope I get to catch him one day. After that quest I did some window shopping and we both went out to Burger King for dinner since it has been a while and I wanted onion rings for a change. I vlogged the whole day so once I get that edited I'll have it up. However right now I have no internet at home and using a pocket wifi thing to put this blog post up which it is limited and not as fast so that was a nightmare. I have a backup plan to go to Starbucks to hopefully upload my Youtube video on Friday so wish me luck it either comes back up before then or I can go out ad have it finish there. So that was a quick update and my what I wore so I hope you enjoy and how much do you love my sunglasses in this post because I am obsessed and want to wear them everywhere now. Hope you have a great rest of the week!
