Covergirl Cheekers Blush in 105 Rose Silk - Review & Swatches

Happy Thursday and for my beauty review for today I bring you my favorite blush I have been wearing non-stop and I thought I shall give it a proper review. This was featured in my March Monthly Favorites which can be read here in case you missed it and I rave how pretty and perfect for spring it is. So without further ado I bring you the Covergirl Cheekers Blush in Rose Silk.

This was included in my Covergirl BDJbox I got last December which you can see that post here. On the card it said it was an exclusive blush which meant that I received this blush first and it will be available in stores at a later date. It was an interesting item to get and the whole box had some amazing products. This was one of my favorites though. It is now available in stores and you can find it in SM Department Stores according to the card and wherever Covergirl products are sold.

Description: {from Covergirl's website}
Blush's basic rules– it has to be easy, and it has to look natural. That's Cheekers. Each portable mini-compact gives you a natural makeup look. It's the way to glow!

The formula is lovely and it wasn't powdery or chalky which I hate in a blush. It is a nice stain finish and really soft which lifts up easily on a brush giving you nice coverage. There is 3g which is quite a lot for me as I don't use this everyday and so it was just the right size. I just dab the brush a little and sweep it on my cheeks once and I find it gives me just enough but if I wanted a little more color it can easily build up without looking cakey and over pigmented which trust me i have done and it isn't pretty. It is just the perfect color for natural pink cheeks.

The packaging reminds me of the classic Covergirl packaging back when my mom used it and the ones I used in the 90s and early 00s.I remember the shape and the look of it which is nice they kept some original packaging. It is small and compact and it is plastic but it doesn't feel as cheap as it used to and it is easy to just throw in your everyday makeup bag which I have been doing a lot lately. I haven't used the brush of this yet but I usually use my angled blush brush that fits exactly on this and gets enough color to sweep on to the apples of my cheeks. I don't think I will be using the brush but I leave it there just in case I need it.

As you can see from the swatch it is a beautiful peachy pink with a silver glitter undertone to it. I love blushes with  little glitter for some reason as I find it more glowing when applied to the cheeks.
I like how nice it looks on and it gives the slightest pinkish glow for a natural flush which is the color I like the best on me. I find natural blushes that aren't too pigmented nicer since I have natural flushed pink cheeks anyways so adding more color just makes me look embarrassed when I'm not. It is plain gorgeous and sometimes just stare at how pretty he color is. I do that a lot when I love my makeup choices and use them over and over.

Overall Experience
This is such a nice  everyday blush as the color is light bu gives just the right color. its a sort of peachy pink but when swatched and applied it give a rosy glow.I'd repurchase this as I love the formula and the color but I would also like to try another shade as well since they offer multiple shades which I like the variation too. For me it is a great blush and I would say worth the money if I hadn't gotten it in a beauty box subscription.

My rating is: ♥♥♥
It is such a pretty color and has an amazing formula. I'm very picky when it comes to my blushes but for me this one had won me over to use more blush again. I like that is small and handy since I don't have a large makeup bag so space product space is much needed. I love the effect it gives and the small glitter always makes me happy. I had to give it a 5 heart rating since I found nothing wrong with it and nothing convinced me to give it less. It really is a lovely blush. What's more not to love about this?

That has been my fave blush at the moment and I do love me a good drugstore blush. I'm not really a blush person but this has ticked all the boxes for me and what I look for. Let me know what is your favorite spring and summer blush to wear and what shade is your go to color for the season? Hope you liked this blush review!
