Etude House Dear My Lipstick in PK009 - Review & Swatches

I'm obsessed with pink lipsticks. I try to add a new tone of pink to my collection every time I see one I think I don't have yet. This lipstick was recently featured in my monthly favorites and in a few outfit posts lately so I wanted to actually post a review and tell you my thoughts about it.

I picked this up in my local mall's Etude House and I just love they're pretty pink store and it lures me in every time. It was so hard to choose but I picked this one out at 450php and I feel like it was such a great purchase and I want to go out and pick up more shades.

The packaging if you couldn't see is just to pretty to look at. This was one of the reasons that convinced me to pick it up as well. The box alone it comes in is so nice and I think the illustrations on it are adorable. The lipstick itself is in a light pink tube with a frosty shine to it and the pretty lilac pink bow on the end just pulls it off. Inside is however a silver bullet that exposes the pretty color. I just love all the details of it and it makes the lipstick that much more special and so pretty to display on your vanity.

The wear is quite nice and when I tested it for the first time I put it on before I left the house and took it with me. I actually used this at my cupcake shoot and I liked it matched my dress so I went with it. Even through eating a cupcake it still stayed on and stayed on through dinner but you can notice that it leaves a little stain on the lips. I didn't really it as I didn't feel like I need to as I like how it wore down to and it made my lips a pretty natural pink but if I was still going out I would have added a quick once over on it. Not the best wear so about 4-5 hours but for me that is quite enough. And don't you just love the detail on the lipstick as I feel it jut makes it more unique. It is so royal and a pretty trademark.

Swatches

It is a blue-toned light pink and a creamy formula. I think it is cool-toned pinks and has a milky/sheer baby to mid tone pink. It isn't as sheer as it seems in person and I think when on my lips it is just how it is. To be honest I like it swatched more than it being on my lips in pictures but when I actually see it in the mirror I find myself staring at it adoring the shade. I don't have a color like this yet and I feel like I am drawing towards more blue-tone lipsticks lately and this type of formula. I didn't have any other lipstick to compare this to but if I do one day find a dupe I hope I do but if you have a similar lipstick like this I'd love to know.

Overall Experience
This is such a nice lipstick and I have so many nice things to ay about it. I'm in love with everything about this lipstick and it has passed all I look for in a lipstick. I didn't just buy this for the packaging but I'll be lying if that didnt sway my love for this but it is a pretty decent lipstick and is such a girly color.
Pros
Long-lasting
Pretty packaging
Affordable
Not drying

Cons
Not a matte formula
My rating is: ♥♥♥
It is such a pretty color and has amazing packaging. I got a few hours wear and it didn't go away right away. I give it a perfect score as though I had a con about it I don't really consider it bad because some might prefer the formula and I think I should get away of the matte formula all the time and pick up something like this. It is such a nice lipstick and I recommend it if you are into this kind of color or the packaging as they have some great shade choices and the price is nice. What's more not to love about this?

That has been my thoughts on my favorite lipstick at the moment and I have a few more pink lipstick reviews coming up and I'm building quite a collection that I might also do a post on in the future. Let me know what color dominates your collection because I know pink is definitely mine.
