Double Colorful Face of the Day

Here is day 11 of Blogmas and it is another special one since I am sharing my first face of the day which is not just a plain everyday one but a very colorful one.

So I as you may know I am going to fashion school but we have a subject that is training us how to do makeup and to become makeup artists. I didn't know I was going to take a subject like this so I was quite surprised as I don't know how to and I don't wear much makeup. But ever since that class started I have become very good at applying my foundation and learning a lot of new tricks. So we are done with the basics and now our teacher wanted us to try some eye makeup looks. He assigned us each category and I got double complementary colors and he taught us how to do that with our eye looks. This was my concept of it and to be fair I didn't know what I was doing but it turned out quite nice even though at first I thought I looked like a clown.

I'm really nervous about it but my teacher said it was quite good for the first time and the pattern I created. I will now show you the look and the makeup I used. Please excuse my face as we were required to take many selfies of our look and I went over board  little and this was the best one I think.

So this was very adventures for me. I hardly wear any eyeshadow let alone color so this was very daring. I used four colors ad they are all marked on the pictures. One is a Laura Mercier palette and the other was just an eyeshadow palette I found. My lips however were not a lipstick but an eyeshadow. I put a nude lipstick on which was MAC Peachstock and then the Violet Steel eyeshadow I put over it. Believe me I did not know what I was doing but I like how it turned out.

Here is the list of all the products I used for the look that I used and I may or may not have left anything out but I think I included anything.

Products Used:

Benefit Porefessional
Benefit Total Moisture Cream
Collection Colour Match Foundation in Natural 04
Heroine Make Smooth Cover Powder in 02
Benefit Fake Up Concleaer in 02
Sleek Contour Powder in Medium
Dashe Cosmetics
FS Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Potters Clay

That was my first face of the day and hope you enjoyed it. I will have to do some more as every week in class we are trying new things so I will definitely be documenting that for my blog here. I didn't know how exciting and fun it was to create these looks and it was like a fun art project. I can't wait to learn more! I'll see you again tomorrow for another blogmas post!
